  • Publication number: 20070216871
Abstract: A projector capable of preventing a light tunnel from positional deviation is obtained. This projector comprises a rectangular light tunnel having a hollow light guide path capable of passing light therethrough for shaping the light with the light guide path, an optical component holding member provided with a holding portion holding the light tunnel and a light tunnel clip including a first pressing portion and a second pressing portion pressing first and second surfaces, adjacent to each other, of the light tunnel toward the holding portion of the optical component holding member for holding the light tunnel in a pressed state, while the first pressing portion and the second pressing portion press positions of the first and second surfaces of the light tunnel located substantially on the same line perpendicular to the traveling direction of the light respectively.

  • Publication number: 20070216879
Abstract: A projection apparatus for inexpensively adjusting the irradiating region of light on an image forming device to irradiate the light to the entire image forming surface of the image forming device is provided. The projector including a light tunnel for passing the light emitted from a lamp and changing the light to condensed uniform light, a mirror for reflecting the light passed through the light tunnel, a DMD for reflecting the light at an image forming surface irradiated with the light reflected by the mirror and forming an image, a lens for projecting the image formed with the DMD, and a frame for attaching these components of an image projection optical system; further includes a rotation adjustment fixing mechanism for fixing the light tunnel to the frame with the rotation angle having the axis of the light tunnel as substantially the center adjusted with an incident port of light of the light tunnel facing the lamp and an exit port facing the mirror.

  • Patent number: 7193069
Abstract: Novel full-length cDNAs are provided. 2443 cDNA derived from human have been isolated. The full-length nucleotide sequences of the cDNA and amino acid sequences encoded by the nucleotide sequences have been determined. Because the cDNA of the present invention are full-length and contain the translation start site, they provide information useful for analyzing the functions of the polypeptide.

  • Patent number: 7182471
Abstract: A projection type display apparatus comprises a rod type integrator 6 having a solid rod structure, in which light being emitted from a lamp and entering an entrance face 6a, as a focal plane, at one end of the solid rod is guided by being internally reflected therein, and is emitted from an exit face 6c as a further focal plane at the other end of the solid rod. A parallel glass plate is attached to the exit face 6c. The glass plate 11 has a flange-shaped extension portion 11a, which extends from periphery of the solid rod, and which serves as a holding portion for holding the integrator. This realizes little or no loss of light to be caused by light leakage outside the solid rod, thereby preventing the integrator from decreasing light use efficiency. Furthermore, the exit face 6c, as the further focal plane, of the solid rod is prevented from having e.g. dust deposited thereon, thereby causing no influence on deterioration of projected images.

  • Patent number: 6120158
Abstract: An indicator for use in a vehicle instrument panel has a light conductive pointer illuminated by a light emitting diode or LED. In order to provide an increased illuminating surface of the pointer, a slit is formed on a cap to extend from the outer periphery of the cap to a portion above a center of rotation of the pointer driven by a driving shaft. A fixture is connected to the driving shaft and holds a light receiving portion of the pointer at the portion above the center of rotation and the LED in the optical alignment with the pointer at a portion off an axis of the center of rotation. A balancing weight is disposed at a portion opposite the LED with respect to the driving shaft in order to keep balance of the indicator.
