  • Publication number: 20060037181
Abstract: The invention relates to a clamping apparatus comprising a base body and two clamping straps which are arranged opposite one another on one side of the base body, are made flexible at least sectionally, extend convexly to one another in a non-clamping state of the clamping apparatus and can be brought into engagement by being pressed together in order thereby to fasten an object located between the clamping straps and the base body to the clamping apparatus by means of a clamping fit.

  • Publication number: 20050264185
Abstract: A method of producing organic light-emitting surface elements (OLEDs), wherein first a first electrode, an organic functional layer and a second electrode are deposited successively on a substrate. The method is used to produce the second electrode in the form of an interference layer system having n metallic sublayers and n+1 oxidic sublayers. The layers are disposed in pairs that each enclose a metallic sublayer therebetween, with n being an integer and ?1. This method has the advantage of a very high light transmission for designing top-emitter OLEDs that cover a large surface area, while at the same time keeping the sheet resistance of the junction electrode located away from the substrate very low, thereby enabling operation at less than 10 V.

  • Patent number: 6960324
Abstract: An aspirating system for caps of sample containers including a suction duct, a partial-vacuum space formed by a collecting container, and a blower. The blower, when operated, produces a partial vacuum in the collecting container. The container is fitted at its lower side with a closing device.

  • Publication number: 20050225587
Abstract: Positioning a printing head of a printing press in which marks are applied on a support that is detected by sensors and as a consequence, the printing head is adjusted, the marks being applied on two opposite sides of the support that are detected by two correspondingly arranged sensors, and the printing head is oriented in response to the results of the two sensors.

  • Patent number: 6921099
Abstract: Apparatus for releasably coupling a vehicle accessory to a vehicle is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a housing, an accessory coupler for coupling a vehicle accessory to the housing, and a hitch pin. The housing comprises an upper wall, a lower wall, and opposed side walls extending between the upper and lower walls, which walls together define a sleeve having an open rearward end. The sleeve has a height between its upper and lower walls and a width between its side walls, the width being substantially greater than the height. The upper and lower walls each have an associated hole centrally positioned widthwise of the sleeve, the holes being aligned on a common axis. The housing is adapted for attachment in an operative position to an upper rearward part of the vehicle with the open end of the sleeve depending rearwardly. In cases where the vehicle is a two-wheeled motorcycle or scooter, the housing preferably is attached to the vehicle in a location above the rear wheel of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20040163600
Abstract: A vapor deposition device for vapor deposition of vertically aligned regions of a substrate has an upright, electrically heated melting crucible having an electrical heater for the material to be vaporized. A nozzle pipe, which is separate from the melting crucible and is sealable on top, having a vapor outlet for vapor deposition of the substrate, is seated on the melting crucible. The nozzle pipe has a heater which is independent of the heater of the melting crucible.
