  • Patent number: 8189600
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product for providing IP Routing when using dynamic virtual local area networks (VLANs) with web based authentication. A downstream VLAN is assigned to a first switch port of a first network device. A first upstream VLAN is also assigned to the first switch port of the first network device. The first upstream VLAN is changed to a second upstream VLAN upon authentication, and the downstream VLAN is maintained.

  • Patent number: 8166205
Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus includes one or more internal interfaces in communication with one or more network devices in a first network site through a Layer 2 link, an overlay interface in communication through a Layer 3 link with a core network connected to one or more other network sites, and a table mapping addresses for network devices in the other network sites to addresses of edge devices in the same network site as the network device. The apparatus further includes a processor operable to encapsulate a packet received at one of the internal interfaces and destined for one of the network devices in the other network sites, with an IP header including a destination address of the edge device mapped to the destination network device, and forward the encapsulated packet to the core network.

  • Patent number: 8131475
Abstract: Gene expression data provides a basis for more accurate identification and diagnosis of lymphoproliferative disorders. In addition, gene expression data can be used to develop more accurate predictors of survival. The present invention discloses methods for identifying, diagnosing, and predicting survival in a lymphoma or lymphoproliferative disorder on the basis of gene expression patterns. The invention discloses a novel microarray, the Lymph Dx microarray, for obtaining gene expression data from a lymphoma sample. The invention also discloses a variety of methods for utilizing lymphoma gene expression data to determine the identity of a particular lymphoma and to predict survival in a subject diagnosed with a particular lymphoma. This information will be useful in developing the therapeutic approach to be used with a particular subject.

  • Publication number: 20110110370
Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a plurality of network site interfaces in communication with two or more networks, each of the networks associated with a different Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) instance, and a processor configured for mapping the VRF instances to an Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) adjacency and transmitting VRF information on the IGP adjacency along with a VRF identifier indicating the network associated with the VRF information. A method is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20100280056
Abstract: Methods are provided herein to determine if a subject is a candidate for treatment with an inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase (HMGCR). The method includes determining the presence of at least one polymorphism in the HMGCR gene in a sample from a subject. The presence of at least one polymorphism indicates that the subject is a candidate for treatment with a statin, for example to decrease risk of or treat cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, inflammatory disease, or auto-immune disease.
