  • Publication number: 20210312540
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for offer recommendations for unsuccessful buyers. An offer recommendation system determines that an offer submitted for a listing posted to an online marketplace was unsuccessful. The offer recommendation system identifies a similar listing posted to the online marketplace and transmits a notification message to the seller that posted the similar listing. The notification message identifies the amount of the unsuccessful offer.

  • Publication number: 20210312520
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for a multi-party negotiation system in an online marketplace. A negotiation system determines that a total value for an item listing is greater than a target value for the item listing. The total value includes a portion that is allocated to a service provider providing a service related to the item listing. The negotiation system transmits a query to the service provider requesting that the service provider provide the service for a reduced value. In response to receiving an acknowledgement that the service provider has agreed to provide the service for the reduced value, the negotiations system generates an updated total value for the item listing based on the reduced value that is no greater than the target value.

  • Publication number: 20210287278
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing a multi-listing combined offer are provided. A networked system receives an indication to add a combination of items from multiple sellers into a virtual cart. In response, the networked system causes presentation of a user interface showing a combination of items from multiple sellers. The networked system receives, from the buyer, a buyer offer price for the combination of items. In response, the networked system accesses, from a data storage, item information for each item of the combination of items, whereby the item information includes a seller identifier, an original item price, and shipping cost for each item. The networked system then generates, based on the accessed item information and the buyer offer price, a split offer price for each seller, whereby the split offer price is a split of the buyer offer price. The split offer price is then presented to each corresponding seller.

  • Publication number: 20210281272
Abstract: A time-interleaved circuit includes an input buffer, a plurality of track-and-hold circuits, and a plurality of isolation inductors. The input buffer is configured to receive an input signal having an input voltage and to output an output signal having an output voltage. The track-and-hold circuits are electrically coupled in parallel with each other. Each track-and-hold circuit is electrically coupled in series with the input buffer. Each isolation inductor is electrically coupled to the output of the input buffer and at least one of the track-and-hold circuits.

  • Publication number: 20210281271
Abstract: A time-interleaved sampling system includes an input signal having a time-varying analog value and a plurality of samplers. Each sampler is operable in a hold mode and a track mode. In the track mode, the samplers track the analog value of the input signal. In the hold mode, each sampler holds a respective analog value of the input signal that a respective sampler tracked immediately before entering the hold mode. The samplers enter the track mode in a predetermined sequence. After a last sampler in the predetermined sequence enters the track mode, the predetermined sequence is repeated in a loop. At random intervals, a skipped sampler in the predetermined sequence is bypassed from entering the track mode.

  • Publication number: 20210248659
Abstract: According to various exemplary embodiments, an electronic text message is received from a source telephone number, the electronic text message including content describing a product item. A seller of the product item is identified, based on the source telephone number, and the product item is identified, based on the content included in the electronic text message. Thereafter, a draft version of an item listing is automatically generated, where the item listing lists the product item as being for sale by the seller on a marketplace website.

  • Patent number: 11086917
Abstract: Transient computing clusters can be temporarily provisioned in cloud-based infrastructure to run data processing tasks. Such tasks may be run by services operating in the clusters that consume and produce data including operational metadata. Techniques are introduced for tracking data lineage across multiple clusters, including transient computing clusters, based on the operational metadata. In some embodiments, operational metadata is extracted from the transient computing clusters and aggregated at a metadata system for analysis. Based on the analysis of the metadata, operations can be summarized at a cluster level even if the transient computing cluster no longer exists. Further relationships between workflows, such as dependencies or redundancies, can be identified and utilized to optimize the provisioning of computing clusters and tasks performed by the computing clusters.

  • Publication number: 20210241361
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for listing conversion estimation and optimization. A listing conversion estimation and optimization system receives a set of listing data for generating a listing of an item for sale on an online marketplace and determines, based on the set of listing data, a likelihood value indicating the likelihood that the listing will result in a sale within a given time period. The listing conversion estimation and optimization system causes presentation of a graphical indicator representing the likelihood value on the display of the listing user's client device.

  • Publication number: 20210173696
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for inferring design-time information based on run-time artifacts generated by services operating in a distributed computing cluster. In an embodiment, a metadata system extracts metadata including run-time artifacts generated by services in a distributed computing cluster while processing a workflow including multiple jobs. The extracted metadata is processed to identify entities and entity relationships which can then be used to generate lineage information. Using the lineage information, the metadata system can infer design-time information associated with the workflow. The inferred design-time information can then be utilized to, for example, recreate the workflow, recreate previous versions of the workflow, optimize the workflow, etc.

  • Publication number: 20210133862
Abstract: Methods and systems for causing presentation, on a client device, of an improved user interface for managing listings of items on a network-based publication system are disclosed. It is determined whether an importance of specifying a value of an attribute for an item has transgressed an importance threshold with respect to a probability of a transaction being completed with respect to a listing of the item. It is identified that the value for the attribute has not been specified with respect to the listing of the item. It is communicated, in the user interface, the importance of specifying the value in conjunction with providing, in the user interface, an interactive user interface element for specifying the value with respect to the listing.

  • Patent number: 10937548
Abstract: A method of improving data sets, for example, of patients, each being characterized by relatively low-cost medical data, identifies those patients where the acquisition of higher cost medical data would best inform an estimate of the higher cost medical data for the remaining patients. In this way scarce medical resources can be more efficiently applied in characterizing a potential patient pool, for example, for a clinical trial when resources are not available for extensive medical characterization of each trial participant.

  • Publication number: 20200372384
Abstract: A machine learning architecture employs two machine learning networks that are joined by a statistical model allowing the imposition of a predetermined statistical model family into a learning process in which the networks translate between and data types. For example, the statistical model may enforce a Gaussian conditional probability between the latent variables in the translation process. In one application, MRI images may be translated into PET images with reduced mode collapse, blurring, or other “averaging” type behaviors.
