Abstract: A processing system may obtain traveler data comprising location data of devices of a plurality of travelers, the travelers having reservations to travel aboard a vehicle of a transportation service provider from a point of departure at a designated time of readiness and obtain timing data of a queue from a service provider system associated with the queue, where at least one traveler of the travelers is to traverse the queue to arrive at the point of departure. The processing system may then calculate arrival times of the travelers based upon the traveler data and based upon the timing data of the queue, determine that an arrival time of the at least one traveler is after the designated time of readiness, and perform at least one remedial action in response to the determining that the arrival time of the at least one traveler is after the designated time of readiness.

Abstract: A processing system including at least one processor may identify a user viewpoint of a user at a first venue, match a viewpoint at a second venue to the user viewpoint of the user at the first venue, detect a trigger condition to provide visual content of the second venue to the user at the first venue, obtain the visual content of the second venue, wherein the visual content of the second venue is obtained from the viewpoint at the second venue, and provide the visual content of the second venue to an augmented reality device of the user at the first venue, where the augmented reality device presents the visual content of the second venue as a visual overlay within a field of view of the user.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for service creation and management. A processor can detect an event relating to a service, and access a service creation database to identify a recipe associated with the service. The recipe can define a resource to be used to provide the service. The processor can access an inventory to determine if the resource is available, identify a service control to control the service, instruct an infrastructure control to allocate virtual machines to host components of the service, and issue instructions to the service control. The instructions can instruct the service control to load service functions to the virtual machines.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for creating a custom service in a communication network are disclosed. For example, the method implemented via a processor determines that the custom service does not exist, receives one or more desired functions for the custom service, creates the custom service having the one or more desired functions and modifies one or more network elements within the communication network to perform the one or more desired functions to deploy the custom service.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, detecting a first bootstrap profile on a first communication device, and detecting a second bootstrap profile on a second communication device. Further aspects can include determining the first bootstrap profile and the second bootstrap profile are a same bootstrap profile, and providing limited services to the second communication device according to the first communication device and the second communication device having the same bootstrap profile. Abstract: A processing system may determine a plurality of aspects of a trip of a user, each of the plurality of aspects associated with a travel service provider of a plurality of travel service providers, identify a plurality of travel service provider applications that are available on the mobile computing device and that are associated with the plurality of travel service providers, and obtain an authorization of the user of the mobile computing device to interact with the plurality of travel service provider applications in connection with the trip. The processing system may then detect an event associated with the trip and perform, in response to detecting the event, at least one task via a second travel service provider application using a first set of data from at least a first of the plurality of travel service provider applications, where the second travel service provider application is available on the mobile computing device.

Abstract: A processing system may track a location of a user on a journey in connection with an associated group of transport units having commenced a shipment from a same origin to a same destination in a shipping network, detect at least one change related to the journey comprising at least one of: that the location of the user deviates from an expected location or that a user itinerary has changed, and divert the group of transport units in the shipping network, in response to the detecting the at least one change, the diverting comprising transmitting at least one instruction to cause at least one visual display characteristic to be presented when one or more of the transport units are viewed via an augmented reality endpoint device, the at least one visual display characteristic distinguishing the group of transport units from other transport units that are not in the group.

Abstract: A processing system may detect a physical location of a user via at least one mobile computing device of the user, where the user is to be authenticated for a network-based transaction, identify at least one network-connected sensor device at the physical location, and determine, from the at least one network-connected sensor device, a set of environmental conditions of an environment of the physical location. The processing system may next identify at least one action for the user to perform to interact with at least one aspect of the environment in accordance with the set of environmental conditions and transmit an instruction to the user to perform the at least one action. The processing system may then obtain sensor data from the at least one network-connected sensor device, determine, from the sensor data, that the user performed the at least one action, and authenticate the user for the network-based transaction.

Abstract: A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform, for example, receive secret information and non-secret information from a secure download application function, provide a request for a first verification to a secure element where the first verification is associated with access to content and/or an application that is accessible via the secure download application function, receive the first verification which is generated by the secure element based on the secret information without providing the secret information to the secure device processor, receive the non-secret information from the secure element, and generate a second verification for the access based on the non-secret information, where the content and/or application is accessible from the secure download application function responsive to the first and second verifications.
