Abstract: A cord management system includes a case and a strap. The strap has a first attachment point at a first location on the strap and a second attachment point a second location on the strap. The strap also includes at least two modes of operation. In a first mode of operation, the first attachment point is attached to the second attachment point so that a first segment of the strap located between the first attachment point and the second attachment point forms a loop configured to secure a cord that is wrapped around the case. In a second mode of operation, the first attachment point is detached from the second attachment point so that the first segment no longer forms the loop. In some embodiments, the strap is permanently attached to the case, while in other embodiments the strap is semi-permanently attached to the case.

Abstract: A case for a mobile electronic device is provided. The case includes color-changing material that changes color when subjected to different environmental conditions. Cases may include multiple color-changing materials, or color-changing materials that exhibit multiple different colors. In some embodiments, the case has a design that includes color-changing material. The designs are sometimes configured to provide information to a user about an operating condition of the device, such as the temperature. In some embodiments, the color-changing material is thermochromic and/or photochromic. In some mobile electronic device cases, portions of a back surface include magnets and/or magnetic materials, such as magnetic metal.

Abstract: A mobile electronic device accessory system is provided. The accessory system comprises a mobile electronic device case with a surface and a first attachment mechanism. An accessory is also provided, where the accessory comprises a second attachment mechanism, and is removably attached to the surface of the mobile electronic device case. In some embodiments, the case comprises a back with a recessed portion configured to receive an accessory therein, and an attachment mechanism for removably attaching the accessory to the case. Methods of using the accessory system are also provided.

Abstract: A cord management apparatus comprises one or more magnets, configurable to be coupled to an electronic cord. The apparatus comprises one or more sheaths configured to be coupled to at least a portion of the electronic cord, wherein the one or more sheaths are configured to be magnetically attached to the magnet. A cord management device comprising one or more pliable sheaths is described also.
