Abstract: Systems and methods for deep neural network (DNN)-based cross component prediction are provided. A method includes inputting a reconstructed luma block of an image or video into a DNN; and predicting, by the DNN, a reconstructed chroma block of the image or video based on the reconstructed luma block that is input. Luma and chroma reference information and side information may also be input into the DNN to predict the reconstructed chroma block. The various inputs may also be generated using processes such as downsampling and transformation.

Abstract: A method of forming a ferroelectric random access memory (FeRAM) device includes: forming a layer stack over a substrate, where the layer stack includes alternating layers of a first dielectric material and a word line (WL) material; forming first trenches extending vertically through the layer stack; filling the first trenches, where filling the first trenches includes forming, in the first trenches, a ferroelectric material, a channel material over the ferroelectric material, and a second dielectric material over the channel material; after filling the first trenches, forming second trenches extending vertically through the layer stack, the second trenches being interleaved with the first trenches; and filling the second trenches, where filling the second trenches includes forming, in the second trenches, the ferroelectric material, the channel material over the ferroelectric material, and the second dielectric material over the channel material.

Abstract: An optical phased array device, which can flexibly set the light splitting weight and has good scalability, includes a light splitting network, phase shifters, and emission units. Among them, the light splitting network of the device can set the optical power weight of the array element freely and has good scalability. The light splitting network of optical phased array consists of a series of basic elements, each of which can realize uniform or non-uniform light splitting of N channels. The light splitting network adopts a tree topology. The tree network structure can be freely designed, and the components used by the network nodes can also be freely selected. By freely designing the structure of the light splitting network and the components used by each node, the optical output distribution of the network can be set, so that the far field distribution of the optical phased array can be optimized.

The processing circuitry can decode a first post-filtering parameter in the image or video corresponding to the one or more blocks to be reconstructed. The first post-filtering parameter applies to at least one of the one or more blocks and has been updated by a post-filtering module in a post-filtering neural network (NN) that is trained based on a training dataset. The processing circuitry can determine the post-filtering NN in a video decoder corresponding to the one or more blocks based on the first post-filtering parameter. The processing circuitry can decode the one or more blocks based on the determined post-filtering NN corresponding to the one or more blocks.

Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication includes a receiver configured to receive a request for data associated with an Internet-of-things (IoT) service session with an IoT cloud server. The apparatus further includes a transmitter configured to transmit, based on receiving the request and prior to transmitting a response to the request, a message indicating a timing parameter associated with availability of the data. The receiver is further configured to receive an uplink grant at a time that is based on the timing parameter, and the transmitter is further configured to transmit the response to the request based on the uplink grant. The response includes at least a subset of the data.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a complex probiotic composition and a method for improving exercise performance of a subject with low intrinsic aerobic exercise capacity. The complex probiotic composition, which includes Lactobacillus rhamnosus GKLC1, Bifidobacterium lactis GKK24 and Clostridium butyricum GKB7, administered to the subject with the low intrinsic aerobic exercise capacity in a continuation period, can effectively reduce serum lactic acid and serum urea nitrogen after aerobic exercise, reduce proportion of offal fat and/or increase liver and muscle glycogen contents, thereby being as an effective ingredient for preparation of various compositions.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for preparing pyrrolidone, and the invention provides a method for catalytically preparing pyrrolidone with ?-aminobutyric acid in the presence of carnitine-CoA ligase CaiC. The carnitine-CoA ligase CaiC has an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO:1. The ligase has catalytic activity in the cyclization of ?-aminobutyric acid to produce pyrrolidone. The carnitine-CoA ligase provided in the present invention affords a yield of pyrrolidone of 3.26 g/L and a molar yield of 39.53% in 24 h when ?-aminobutyric acid is used as a substrate, thus reducing the production period, improving the production of pyrrolidone, and accelerating the industrialization process of producing pyrrolidone by enzymatic conversion method.

The composite solution for enhancing induced disease resistance of LNT to a plant includes: an LNT-containing solution and an SPc-containing solution, where SPc is a dendritic macromolecule functionalized by an amino functional group, and has a structural formula shown in formula I, where n=1 to 100. An LNT/SPc complex is produced in the composite solution. SPc spontaneously combines with LNT through hydrogen bonding, such that an agglomerate structure formed by LNT in an aqueous solution is broken and reduced to a nano-scale particle size, and a spherical particle is produced, which can significantly reduce a contact angle of the LNT aqueous solution, and promote the distribution and diffusion of LNT.
