    Abstract: There is provided a computer-implemented method for performing image-based dish recognition. The method includes acquiring a first image depicting a dish to be recognized, analyzing the first image using a predictive model to determine a first candidate theme, and acquiring a reference set of dish identifiers. The method further includes calculating, for each of the dish identifiers in the reference set, an association score indicative of a degree of similarity between the dish represented by the respective dish identifier and the first candidate theme, selecting one or more dish identifiers in the reference set having the highest association scores as one or more variant dish identifiers of the first candidate theme, and outputting a centroid dish identifier of the first candidate theme and the one or more variant dish identifiers of the first candidate theme.

The method further includes determining a recipe scale factor based on the target serving size and the recipe serving size, determining a main food ingredient from the one or more food ingredients, and determining whether an amount of overlap of the main food ingredient in a receptacle of the cooking apparatus exceeds a predetermined threshold. If it is determined that the amount of overlap of the main food ingredient exceeds the predetermined threshold, then the scaled cooking time corresponding to the target serving size is determined based on the recipe scale factor and the recipe cooking time.

    Abstract: A method for providing user equipment access to millimeter wave stations through a microwave station includes receiving an indication of millimeter wave stations operating within a microwave coverage area of a microwave station. In a microwave band, information associated with the millimeter wave stations is broadcasted to user equipment in the microwave coverage area. A request is sent to the millimeter wave stations to transmit configuration signals over a microwave band. An instruction is transmitted over the microwave band to the user equipment to perform proximity measurements of the configuration signals. According to the proximity measurements, a request is sent to a particular millimeter wave station to transmit beamforming signals over a millimeter wave band. An instruction is transmitted over the microwave band to the user equipment to perform beamforming measurements of the beamforming signals. According to the beamforming measurements, the user equipment is switched to millimeter wave operation.

    Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided to provide for Channel State Information (CSI) feedback of hybrid beamforming. In a first example embodiment, a method for signaling a beamforming reference signal (BFRS) is provided. A resource block is created for the BFRS, the resource block containing a plurality of resource elements, each resource element defined by a time-frequency resource within one subcarrier and one multiplexing symbol. A total number of analog transmit beams for the BFRS is then determined, along with grouping information for the analog transmit beams for the BFRS. Then, the resource block, the total number of analog beams, and the grouping information are transmitted from a first network controller to a user equipment (UE). Then the BFRS is transmitted from the first network controller to the UE.
