Abstract: An exemplary electronic device includes a controller, a first convertor, a second convertor, and a switching unit. The first convertor is configured for receiving a first voltage from an external power supply and converting the first voltage into a second voltage. The controller is coupled to the first convertor for generating a start signal when receiving the second voltage. The second convertor is connected to the controller for receiving the first voltage, converting the first voltage into a third voltage to power an operating unit of the electronic device, and converting the first voltage into a fourth voltage to power the controller when receiving the start signal. The switching unit is coupled to the controller and the first convertor for disabling the first convertor when the controller receives the fourth voltage. A related power supply unit is also provided.

A movable rod extends through the first frame and fixed to the first frame by a first fixing bolt. An end part is connected to the first end of the movable rod and the outer section is positioned in the end part. A push rod extends through the second frame and is movable toward the movable rod by pivoting a lever. The metal section is connected to the free end of the push rod. Multiple blocks are pivotably or slidably connected to the base and each block includes an engaging recess which is removably engaged with the movable rod.

Abstract: An electronic device includes an integrated circuit, a power interface, and an interface circuit connected between the integrated circuit and the power interface for protecting the integrated circuit from being damaged by electrostatic discharge. The interface circuit includes a current limit unit connected between the power interface and the integrated circuit for limiting an electrostatic discharge current and an electrostatic protection unit connected to a common node of the power interface and the current limit unit for clamping a voltage of the common node to a predetermined value. Abstract: A power supply system for an electronic device includes a first and a second connector, a switch, and a controller. The first connector is used for connecting to a first power source. The second connector is used for connecting to a second power source, wherein the second power source is rechargeable. The switch establishes a connection between the first connector and the second connector so as to allow the first power source to charge the second power source. The controller detects a presence of the first power source and the second power source, and controls the switch to periodically establish the connection at the absence of the second power source, and to continuously establish the connection at the presence of the second power source.

The biasing circuit is for providing a bias voltage to the amplifier circuit to actuate the amplifier circuit. The time-delay circuit is for receiving a pulse signal and delaying the bias voltage to avoid a sudden actuation of the amplifier circuit based on the pulse signal. The time-delay circuit comprises a first input for receiving the pulse signal, a first resistor coupled to the first input, a first output coupled to the biasing circuit, a first BJT whose base, emitter, collector are respectively coupled to the first resistor, ground, and the first output.

Abstract: A video server includes a communication unit for receiving a first video signal from a first video client device and a second video signal from a second video client device, an image combination unit for combining the first video signal and the second video signal to generate a combined video signal, and an image frame extracting unit for extracting a combined image frame from the combined video signal in response to a grab command received from one of the first video client device and the second video client device, and sending the extracted combined image frame to the one of the first video client device and the second video client device via the communication unit. Abstract: A system for heating a load-lock chamber, particularly that of a plasma etching system for etching semiconductor wafer substrates. The load-lock chamber heating system includes a heater that is provided in fluid communication with a gas supply which contains an inert gas such as nitrogen. A gas pump pumps the gas from the gas supply through the heater, and from the heater into the load-lock chamber. The gas heats the load-lock chamber to prevent or minimize condensation of corrosive etching gases onto the interior surfaces of the load-lock chamber as well as the surfaces of substrates contained therein.

Abstract: A backfill prevention system for a gas flow conduit, comprising a gas flow monitor circuit which measures the rate and direction of gas flow through a gas flow conduit and converts the measured data into a voltage signal. A valve control circuit operably connected to a valve or valves in the gas flow conduit receives the voltage signal from the gas flow monitor circuit and closes the valve or valves in the event that the voltage signal indicates backflow of a gas through the gas flow conduit. The valve control conduit may further be provided with a first light emitting diode (LED) which is illuminated during normal flow of the gas through the conduit, and a second LED which is illuminated in the event of gas backflow through the conduit. The system is typically used in conjunction with a mass flow controller in the conduit.
