Abstract: A method for forming a composite fluid conduit includes providing an inner pipe having a variation in cross-section between at least two different longitudinal sections thereof and applying a fiber reinforced composite material to the inner pipe. In some disclosed examples the variation in cross section may be provided intermediate opposing ends of the inner pipe. In other disclosed examples the variation in cross section may be provided at an end region of the inner pipe.

Abstract: A system monitors database agents associated with DBMSs running on servers, for example, servers of an organization connected by a network. The system determines whether each database agent is running according to a schedule and whether the database agent is running the correct version of a script. The system may generate a report describing differences between database agents that are running on database instances and a master configuration of database agents representing the expected configuration of the database agent. If a database instance is executing a configuration of a database agent that is different from the master configuration of the database agent, the system updates the database agent executing on the database instance to ensure that the configuration matches the master configuration.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of filing beverage combines pressurized beverage delivery (rather than gravity feed) with variable pressure control of the gas flow from the can during snift. By modulating beverage flow and especially pressure, it is possible to saturate a beverage, or optionally fill a can's widget with gas with a shorter set of fill steps. In addition, the speed of beverage filling can be dramatically increased compared to small scale systems normally used. Unlike known large scale pressure systems, the beverage bowl may be located beneath the rest of the apparatus and modulated pressure may be used, making for a smaller and more portable unit.

The second optical power is an uneven division of the third optical power. The first and second diffractive patterns have respective step heights that are separately varied as a function of radial distance from the optical axis over the common aperture.

In an embodiment an application configures a player's mobile device to receive an invitation from a casino to play the table game based upon the player being, based upon location aware technology, being in or near the casino. Accepting the invention permits the player to reserve a position at the gaming table and displays a machine readable code at the player's mobile device. The player positions at the gaming table include video display and player input devices (VDPIDs) and a code reader to read the displayed code and access the player's electronic account. Using the VDPID the player may convert between electronic funds and physical gaming chips, participate in video bonus event play and back-bet on other players.
