  • Patent number: 8262547
Abstract: A pneumatic exercise foot pad device includes two primary tubes and a secondary tube disposed between left and right foot pads having air chambers. The primary tubes intercommunicate fluidly the foot pads in proximity to front and rear ends of the foot pads. The secondary tube intercommunicates fluidly central portions of the foot pads. A shell is disposed between the left and right foot pads to cover the primary and secondary tubes. Two adjustment screw rods extend respectively through screw holes formed in the shell to press or unpress the primary tubes so that the primary tubes block or unblock an air flow between the foot pads.

  • Patent number: 7657832
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implement techniques for validating and correcting structured electronic documents. The techniques include identifying a structural aspect of a structured electronic document that fails to conform to rules of a markup language format. One or more changes are suggested that would correct the identified structural aspect. User input is received selecting a change of the suggested changes. The selected change is applied to the structured electronic document. The rules are associated with the structured electronic document.

  • Patent number: 7604577
Abstract: An adjustable dumbbell assembly of the type including two sets of weights, each including a radial opening extending from a central area to a peripheral area and at least one transversely extending opening in the central area communicating with said radial opening, and a weight supporting assembly operable to selectively connect and disconnect the two sets of weights thereto on opposite sides of a centrally located handle. The weight supporting assembly on each side includes a fixed weight supporting structure, movable weight selector structure, and manually turnable actuating structure. The structures are interrelated with respect to one another, so that when the fixed structure is in an operative position with respect to the weights, manually turning the actuating structure in one direction moves the selector structure in one direction and manually turning the actuating structure in an opposite direction moves the selector structure in the opposite direction.

  • Publication number: 20070244606
Abstract: A vehicle stability enhancement system that is adapted for an estimated driver workload. The system includes a driver workload estimation processor that estimates the driver workload based on certain factors, such as the vehicle speed or driver-behavior factors. The driver workload estimation is used to adjust the damping ratio and natural frequency in dynamic filters in a command interpreter to adjust a desired yaw rate signal and a desired side-slip signal. The driver workload estimation is also used to generate a yaw rate multiplication factor and a side-slip multiplication factor that modify a yaw rate stability signal and a side-slip stability signal in a feedback control processor that generates a stability control signal.
