  • Publication number: 20200304288
Abstract: An erroneous transmission, of a record of data, to a distributed ledger system can be prevented. A first operation can confirm that a format of a content within the record of data is correct. A second operation can confirm that formats of elements of a set of information, about authorizations used to cause the record of data to be communicated via the distributed ledger system, are correct. A third operation can confirm that subject matters of the elements and a subject matter of the record of data are the same. A fourth operation can retrieve credentials associated with entities that produced the elements. A fifth operation, using the credentials, can confirm that the entities that produced the elements were authorized to produce them. A sixth operation can confirm that the set of information is sufficient to authorize causing the record of data to be communicated via the distributed ledger system.

  • Publication number: 20200226121
Abstract: An incorrect copy of a record of data can be prevented from being transmitted to a distributed ledger system. A first file can be received and can include information, in audio or video form, with a description of a subject matter of the record of data and with an authorization to transmit the copy to the distributed ledger system. The first file can be sent to a device. A second file can be received from the device and can include information that confirms that the description of the subject matter, included in the first file, is correct, and that confirms that an entity, which controlled production of the first file, has permission to authorize causing the copy to be transmitted to the distributed ledger system. The correct copy can be caused, based on a receipt of the first and the second files, to be transmitted to the distributed ledger system.

  • Publication number: 20200109356
Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a method of treating a textile with an antimicrobial agent over a plurality of laundry cycles each including a wash cycle and a treatment cycle. The method includes (a) receiving a textile in a wash system for a first laundry cycle, (b) initiating a wash cycle comprising a detergent, (c) initiating a post-detergent treatment cycle comprising dosing the textile with a solution having a predetermined concentration of an antimicrobial agent that comprises a metallic ion, and (c) repeating steps (a)-(c) for each of a plurality of additional laundry cycles. The predetermined concentration is insufficient to achieve a predetermined antimicrobial efficacy for the textile due to the first laundry cycle alone but sufficient to achieve the predetermined antimicrobial efficacy for the textile due to a combination of the first laundry cycle and one or more of the plurality of additional laundry cycles.

  • Publication number: 20190390399
Abstract: A flexible fungal composite with an engineered and/or improved mechanical properties such as tear strength, tensile strength and resistance to separation. The fungal composite is generated by embedding a second material within a fungal matrix. The tear strength of the fungal composite is greater than the tear strength of the fungal matrix. The tensile strength of the fungal composite is at least equal to the tensile strength of the embedded material. And the resistance to delamination between the fungal matrix and the embedded material is such that the force required to separate the fungal matrix and the embedded material from each other is greater than or equal to the force required to separate the fungal matrix or the embedded material from themselves.

  • Publication number: 20190337492
Abstract: A transport vehicle spray apparatus. The transport vehicle spray apparatus has at least one storage tank. A pump transports material from the storage tank through at least one filter and a manifold to at least one spray bar. The spray bar incorporates spray nozzles through which the material from the storage tank is dispensed. In one embodiment, the spray bar is connected to a collapsible frame on the top and back of the transport vehicle storage space. The collapsible frame can expand and collapse by sliding along the length of the walls of the transport vehicle storage space. As the frame expands and collapses, the spray bar coats the interior surfaces of the transport vehicle storage space with the material from the storage tank. The transport vehicle spray apparatus is utilized to spray and coat the walls of a transport vehicle's storage space with a desired fluid.

  • Patent number: 10320977
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a device comprising a processor detects a communication session between a calling device and a called device, and receives a motion signal from the called device; the motion signal is generated at a motion sensor of the called device during or after the communication session. The device analyzes the motion signal to determine whether a portion of the motion signal corresponds to a preselected motion of the called device and whether a subsequent call from the calling device accordingly is to be blocked. Responsive to a determination that the subsequent call is to be blocked, the device also updates a list of blocked caller identifiers associated with the called device to add an identifier associated with the calling device. Other embodiments are disclosed.
