A width of the outer portion is smaller than the fixing portion and larger than the main portion. The main portion enters into the inner portion through the outer portion. The fixing portion abuts against a bottom of the securing member. The spring is compressed between a top of the securing member and the head portion. A concave is depressed from the securing member and surrounds the inner portion. A lower portion of the spring is fittingly received in the concave.

The airflow guiding flange is twisted in a radial direction, such that an included angle between the airflow guiding flange and the main body is gradually increased from an outer side (318, 338) towards an inner side (317, 337) of the main body. The fan is used to generate airflow towards the heat sink. The airflow is guided into the air channels between the fins via the airflow guiding flanges.

A fan pulley is fixed to the distal end of the shaft. The electric motor includes a driving pulley. The belt has one end engaging with the driving pulley of the electric motor and an opposite end engaging with the fan pulley of the cooling fan. Rotation of the driving pulley of the electric motor is transferred to the fan pulley via the belt to cause the impeller to rotate.

The resilient foot deforms to exert a resilient force on the heat sink when the heat sink is assembled to the electronic component by the securing device.
