Abstract: A method of calculating a size of a Gaussian kernel in a crowd counting system. The method includes dividing a crowd density map into several areas at equal intervals; calculating an estimated value of average distance of k nearest heads with respect to a head center point coordinate of a current person; calculating a weight coefficient for an average distance of k nearest heads; calculating a size of a Gaussian kernel corresponding to the head center point coordinate of the current person; determining whether there are any head center point coordinates of which sizes of Gaussian kernels have not been calculated yet in training data. If there are head center point coordinates of which sizes of the Gaussian kernels have not been calculated in the training data, recalculating an estimated value of average distance of k nearest heads with respect to another head center point coordinate of another current person.

Abstract: A method includes: creating a training data set based on user input, the training data set including time series data of a price of an asset and stochastic event data of events related to the asset; creating an event intensity model that models an event intensity parameter of one of the events related to the asset, wherein the event intensity model comprises a proximal graphical event model (PGEM), and the creating the event intensity model includes learning parameters of the PGEM using machine learning and the training data set; creating a probabilistic time series model that predicts a probability distribution of a return of the asset, wherein the creating the probabilistic time series model includes learning parameters of the probabilistic time series model using machine learning and the training data set; and predicting a future return of the asset for a future time period using the probabilistic time series model.

The conveying device includes a catheter mechanism and a limiting body; wherein the catheter mechanism comprises an inner tube assembly and an outer tube, and the outer tube is sleeved on the inner tube assembly and is configured to be movable along an axial direction of the inner tube assembly; the limiting body is connected to a distal outer surface of the inner tube assembly and is configured to expand or contract along a radial direction of the inner tube assembly; the conveying device is configured such that the catheter mechanism is configured to load the medical stent and to release the medical stent when the outer tube moves from distal to proximal, and the limiting body is configured to expand when the medical stent is released so as to position the medical stent in a target position.

Abstract: A fan frame includes a central base, a frame wall, and a plurality of static blades radially extending from the central base to the frame wall, each static blade is connected to the central base at a first end and connected to the frame wall at a second end, the central base is provided with a first wire groove, the frame wall is provided with a second wire groove, the first wire groove and the second wire groove are configured for accommodating wires, and the second wire groove has a shape same as the second end of the static blade connected to the frame wall for gathering the wires to shape similar to the static blade. A fan assembly including the fan frame is also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for quantifying physical qualities of a ball returned by a player using a loop drive technique, such as in table tennis, and generating a corresponding quantitative summary of the overall quality of the loop drive technique based on the quantified physical qualities. Image processing techniques are applied to historical video recordings of balls returned using loop drive techniques to quantify physical properties of said balls. A machine learning model is generated using the quantified physical properties to determine relative significance of specific qualities and their corresponding quantified values to the overall quality or success of loop drive techniques, such as in table tennis matches.

Abstract: This application provides a method for identifying a terminal device and a communications apparatus. A core network element obtains classification information for classifying a terminal device, and then determines, based on the classification information and a parameter of a first terminal device, a type of the first terminal device, to identify the first terminal device. In this process, the core network element identifies the first terminal device in a supervision area by using the classification information and the parameter of the first terminal device, to identify a terminal device that is not registered in a supervision system, thereby improving security of the terminal device.

Abstract: A plug-in circuit breaker that includes a housing with a limiting hole, a button mechanism having a closing position and an opening position, and an operating mechanism actuated by the button mechanism. The plug-in circuit breaker includes a locking member arranged inside the housing. The locking member has a locking protruding stand opposite the limiting hole. When the button mechanism is in the closing position, the locking protruding stand of the locking member extends out of the limiting hole and limited by the button mechanism. When the button mechanism is in the opening position, the locking protruding stand of the locking member extends out of the limiting hole to apply an external force on the locking member for retraction. The locking protruding stand of the locking member can retract into the housing, and the locking member limits the button mechanism to perform the closing operation.

Abstract: A data processing method performed by a first device includes: generating, in response to first service data satisfying a data uploading condition, a first bit array corresponding to the first service data; encrypting the first bit array through a data key to obtain a ciphertext bit array, the data key being generated by a second device in a data intersection application run in a trusted execution environment of the second device; and transmitting the ciphertext bit array to a blockchain node for forwarding to a second device, for the second device to decrypt, in the data intersection application through the data key, the ciphertext bit array to obtain the first bit array.

Abstract: An air-ground joint trajectory planning and offloading scheduling method and system for distributed multiple objectives is provided. At the beginning of each timeslot, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) selects a flight direction based on a total energy consumption of all devices and a total amount of unprocessed data of all the devices in the current system, and flies a fixed distance towards a certain direction. Before the UAV reaches a new location, each terrestrial user independently selects a task data offloading scheduling strategy based on the total energy consumption of all the devices and the total amount of the unprocessed data of all the devices in the current system. In order to improve an expected long-term average energy efficiency and data processing capability, the present disclosure also provides average feedbacks for an energy consumption and unprocessed data.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of storage technology and discloses a method for protecting partial space of SSD and a storage system. The storage space of the SSD is divided into multiple regions and there is a partition table stored in the SSD, which includes region type of each region. The method includes: receiving, by the SSD, a command to read the partition table; and retrieving, by the SSD, the partition table, removing one or more regions with the region type being locked from the partition table, and returning the removed partition table. This application provides a simple implementation and self-encrypting protection scheme, which requires fewer running resources, is easy to operate, has strong portability, and can meet basic self-encrypting and locking requirements.

An opening assembly is arranged in the body, which has an opening sleeve and an opening seat located in the opening sleeve. Initially the opening sleeve is connected with the body through a first shear pin and covers the circulating opening, and the opening seat is connected with the opening sleeve through a second shear pin and covers the liquid inlet recess. A packer includes a packing valve body and a packer rubber. The packing valve body includes a flow channel in communication with the liquid inlet recess, and the packer rubber includes a liquid reservoir in communication with the flow channel. The second shear pin is sheared off in response to primary cementing procedure.

Abstract: A medical stent includes a covered segment and a naked segment. The covered segment includes a cut stent body and a film material arranged on the cut stent body. At least one end of the covered segment is connected with the naked segment, and at least one of the naked segments includes a braided stent body. The covered segment includes a first section, and the medical stent is configured such that an inner diameter of the first section in a first expansion state is smaller than an inner diameter of the cut stent body in a free state, and when the first section is subjected to a radially outward force, the first section expands radially outward. The medical stent has good flexibility and support, is easy to push, and can adjust the inner diameter of the first section according to actual needs, and has good universal applicability.

One example method includes performing a conversion between a video block of a video and a bitstream of the video using a palette mode in which samples of the video block are represented using a palette of representive color values. Abstract: A method for preparing an electrode material includes: a) producing a microspherical precursor by way of co-precipitation; b) forming an intermediate product by calcining the precursor with a stoichiometric amount of sodium carbonate, lithium carbonate and a structural stabilizer; and c) performing an ion exchange process to the intermediate product under molten LiNO3/LiCl to form a lumpy residue. An electrode for lithium-ion battery includes an electrode material having a general formula of Li[Li1/3(TMxAly)]O2, and lithium-ion battery comprising an electrode such as a cathode having the above electrode material are also addressed.
