  • Patent number: 8308514
Abstract: A subscriber identity model (SIM) card holder for fixing and connecting a SIM card with a circuit board is disclosed. The SIM card holder comprises a tray, a terminal rack, and electrically conductive terminals. A bottom surface of the tray defines a first card slot. A bottom surface of the first card slot defines a second card slot. The second slot penetrates the first card slot as well as a top surface of the tray. When the SIM card is contained in the first card slot and/or a micro-SIM card is contained in the second card slot, metal contacting parts of the SIM card are positioned directly under metal contacting parts of the micro-SIM card. The SIM card holder of the present invention is capable of containing the SIM card and the micro-SIM card.

  • Patent number: 8262417
Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a dielectric body, a plurality of conductive terminals and a metallic piece. The insulating housing has a top wall, a bottom wall, a rear wall and two opposite side walls which together define an accommodating space thereamong. Two sides of a bottom of the top wall define two receiving grooves. The dielectric body has a base portion fastened in the rear wall, and a tongue portion penetrating forward through the rear wall to be inserted in the accommodating space. The conductive terminals are disposed in the dielectric body. The metallic piece has a base plate molded in the top wall. Two sides of the base plate respectively define an opening corresponding to the receiving groove. A front side of the opening is slantwise bent upward to form a clipping portion located in the receiving groove.

  • Patent number: 8215996
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a first insulating body having a base board and a tongue board extending rearward from the base board, and a second insulating body having a base portion and fingers extending forward from the base portion. Two opposite sides of the tongue board protrude upward to form two clipping walls and oppositely protrude outward to form two restraining portions spaced from the clipping walls. A receiving space is formed among the tongue board, the base board and the clipping walls for receiving the second insulating body therein. The base portion is clipped between the clipping walls. Front ends of the fingers prop against the base board. Each side surface of the base portion defines an elastic arm having a top connected with the side surface and a bottom beyond a bottom surface of the base portion to be restrained between the restraining portion and the clipping wall.

  • Patent number: 8147276
Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating body having a base portion and a tongue portion extending forward from the base portion, a plurality of terminals disposed in two opposite surfaces of the tongue portion and each having a soldering tail which stretches behind the base portion and further projects upward beyond a top of the base portion, and a lid having a positioning body and a fastening portion protruding forward from the positioning body. The positioning body defines a plurality of positioning apertures spaced from one another and each extending vertically to penetrate through the positioning body. The fastening portion is mounted to the top of the base portion to make the positioning body locate behind the base portion. The soldering tails are inserted in the positioning apertures to be positioned and strengthened by the positioning body, with free ends thereof projecting beyond a top of the positioning body.

  • Patent number: 8147262
Abstract: Disclosed is a card connector, which includes an insulative body, a plurality of the conductive terminals, a metal shell and a supporting plate. The insulative body has a main body in which a plurality of terminal slots is defined. The conductive terminals are respectively received in the terminal slot. The metal shell covers the insulative body and defines a receiving space therebetween. The supporting plate is movably disposed in the receiving space. The supporting plate has a swingable connecting portion. The front substrate can swing up and down relative to the rear substrate through the design of the supporting plate and the swingable connecting portion, so that the electronic card can be easily inserted into and ejected from the card connector without being damaged, thereby prolong the service life of the electronic card.

  • Patent number: 8147277
Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a low-speed transmission terminal group including electrical terminals, a high-speed transmission terminal group including at least one outputting signal terminal and at least one receiving signal terminal, and a positioning body which has a fastening portion mounted under a rear of the insulating body and a positioning portion hanged behind the insulating body. Each of the terminals has a fastening strip, a contact portion and a soldering tail connected with two opposite ends of the fastening strip. The soldering tails of the outputting and receiving signal terminals protrude sideward to form eave boards broadening the outputting and receiving signal terminals for lowering the differential impedance of the high-speed transmission terminal group. The fastening strips are disposed in two opposite surfaces of the insulating body. The soldering tails and the eave boards stretch behind the insulating body to be positioned in the positioning portion.
