    Abstract: This application provides a battery and an electric device. The battery provided in this application is provided with a blocking member between two adjacent rows of battery cells along the length direction of the battery cell. In the process of assembling the battery cells in the box, the adhesive at the bottom of the battery cell, when spreading under compressing from the gap created by the housing chamfers to the end cover, will be blocked by the blocking member, thus preventing the adhesive from overflowing to the end cover, improving the safety performance of the battery.

Four support columns are arranged within a mounting box body at a bottom of a deep-sea submersible, the support columns and the mounting box body are connected in a sliding manner through sliders, and the support column is sleeved with a threaded sleeve in a threaded connection manner. In conjunction with a drive component and a pressing mechanism, smooth vertical movement of the support column is achieved when the threaded sleeve rotates. This allows a bottom end of the support column to extend from the mounting box body.

    Abstract: Described herein is a mechanism for visual recognition of items or visual search using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) of text in images. Recognized OCR blocks in an image comprise position information and recognized text. The embodiments utilize a location-aware feature vector created using the position and recognized information in each recognized block. The location-aware features of the feature vector utilize position information associated with the block to calculate a weight for the block. The recognized text is used to construct a tri-character gram frequency, inverse document frequency (TGF-IDP) metric using tri-character grams extracted from the recognized text. Features in location-aware feature vector for the block are computed by multiplying the weight and the corresponding TGF-IDF metric. The location-aware feature vector for the image is the sum of the location-aware feature vectors for the individual blocks.

    Abstract: For online audio/video conferencing applications deployed in an open office environment, using shared conference devices, it can be advantageous to define an acoustic fence. A non-participant audio received from outside the acoustic fence can be considered noise and filtered out before transmission of an audio signal to a far end recipient. Three suppression stages are used to filter the non-participant audio. The first suppression stage uses beamformers for suppression. The second suppression stage is mask-based, and the third suppression stage is reference-based. The three suppression stages filter out non-participant audio signals, having a wide range of frequencies.

A modulation symbol of the first DMRS port is related to a modulation symbol of the second DMRS port. The terminal device demodulates the data based on the DMRS. Therefore, the DMRS corresponds to a transmission scheme of the data, to help the terminal device demodulate the data. This can reduce interference estimation complexity of the terminal device.

An application performs any of a retrieval-based function, a recognition-based function, a recommendation-based function, a classification-based function, etc. based on the embedding vector.
