The first encapsulant includes a main portion and an extension portion, in which the main portion of the first encapsulant is disposed parallel to the top surface of the circuit substrate, and the extension portion of the first encapsulant extends to the side surface of the circuit substrate. The sealant is disposed below the extension portion of the first encapsulant, and the sealant contacts the first encapsulant and the circuit substrate. The first encapsulant and the sealant together form a coplanar surface.

    Abstract: A pancake lens assembly includes a partially reflective mirror, a reflective polarizer, a quarter waveplate, a polarization-dependent optical device, and at least one polarization controller. When a light beam is introduced into the pancake lens assembly along an optical axis in a Z direction to pass through the polarization controller in a first state, a polarization direction of the light beam is converted by the polarization controller. When the light beam is introduced into the pancake lens assembly along the optical axis to pass through the polarization controller in a second state, the polarization direction of the light beam is prevented from being converted by the polarization controller.

The at least one bonding pad is disposed on the second surface, and is electrically coupled to the light emitting devices. The adhesive layer connects the substrate and the display units. The substrate and the adhesive layer have a plurality of openings arranged corresponding to the openings. Multiple bonding pads of the display units are positioned in the openings. The driver chips are electrically bonded to the bonding pads of the display units through the openings.

The first connecting section includes a first adhesive layer and two first protective layers. One side of the first adhesive section extends to form the first adhesive layer. The first protective layers are respectively laminated to two opposite surfaces of the first adhesive layer. The tearing portion is connected to the first adhesive section through the first connecting section, thereby avoiding rupture in pulling the tearing portion. The tearing portion is conveniently pulled up by a user, such that the first adhesive section removes from the objects to disassemble the objects.

A method for manufacturing the flexible element includes patterned photo-polymerization. The LC optics can include a pair of LC layers with orthogonally aligned LC directors for polarizer-free properties, flexible polymeric alignment layers, flexible substrates, and a module for controlling the electric field. The lens power of the LC optics can be changed by controlling the distribution of electric field across the optical zone. Lens power control can be provided using combinations of electrode configurations, drive signals and anchoring strengths in the alignment layers.

When a voltage is applied to one of the electrode film units, the respective surface region is switched to have the other one of hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, to thereby allow the water droplets condensed from the ambient air to move on the surface regions.
