Abstract: An airbag includes a vent hole discharging gas, a slide tether performing transition of a state of the vent hole, from an open state via a close state to the open state, by changing between a slackened state and an extended state, and a slide tether cover guiding the slide tether. The other end portion in a longitudinal direction of the slide tether body portion constitutes a first supporting point by being fastened in a direction going from the vent hole toward a mounting position of the inflator, bifurcated portions constitutes a second supporting point by the other end portion of the slide tether cover being fastened, terminal end portions of leg piece portions constitute a third supporting point by being respectively fastened. When the airbag is deployed, transition of a state of the vent hole is performed.

Abstract: Device capability information associated with a print job is specified, and it is determined whether the specified device capability information is valid in a printing system. If it is determined that the specified device capability information is valid, print processing is done. If it is determined that the specified device capability information is invalid, it is further determined whether the printing system can execute the print job. Then, execution of the print processing is controlled.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus receives print data from a client PC and analyzes a hierarchical structure relating to an item indicating a delimiter of a document included in the received print data. The image forming apparatus determines an insertion point at which an index sheet is inserted into a printed matter of the print data based on the results of analysis of the hierarchical structure. Then, the image forming apparatus inserts the index sheet into the printed matter at the determined insertion point and outputs the resulting printed matter.

Abstract: Attribute information representing the attributes of a printing medium is stored for each printing medium. Upon receiving a print job which designates the attributes of a printing medium, it is determined whether attribute information representing the attributes designated by the print job is stored. When it is determined that the attribute information is not stored, the attribute information representing the attributes designated by the print job is newly registered.

On expansion of the airbag, the to-be-ripped part is ripped, thereby allowing the door part to move rotationally on the cabin internal side. Therefore, the airbag equipped at the door part can be smoothly expanded along the side face part of the cabin. Thus, an airbag apparatus is improved in appearance.
