Patent number: 6134816Abstract: A pin is laid out so as to pass through a boom laid out between a pair of bosses of the center frame of the upper rotating body, and are attachably, detachably, and pivotably mounted on the boom. A cab is laid out on one side of the pair of bosses, and oil tanks such as a hydraulic oil tank and fuel oil tank are laid out on the other side thereof. The sections of oil tanks that meet the extension line of the center line of the pins are formed as a space section with which the pin does not interfere when the pin is moved along the extension line. In the upper rotating body where the hydraulic oil tank and the fuel oil tank are laid out to keep the relation of the front and rear positions, the space between both oil tanks is positioned nearly on the extension line of the center line of the pins, and a cut section of the oil tank is formed on at least one side of both oil tanks, and besides partly hollowly.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 1997Date of Patent: October 24, 2000Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Kobe Seiko ShoInventors: Yoshiaki Murakami, Hirokazu Imashige

Patent number: 5715615Abstract: A hydraulic working machine includes a bonnet assembly extending along a rear end and opposite sides of a cab on a revolving upper structure so as to cover an internal combustion engine, a cooling fan, a radiator, and a hydraulic pump. The bonnet assembly is composed of first to three bonnets. The first bonnet and the second bonnet each cover an upper portion and a side portion of the internal combustion engine. The third bonnet covers a hydraulic oil tank and a fuel tank for the internal combustion engine. The first bonnet can be opened and closed in the horizontal direction and hence makes no contact or interference with a seat in the cab. The horizontally openable first bonnet is disposed above a counterweight and hence does never interfere with the counterweight. With the bonnet assembly thus arranged, the components mounted in the upper structure can be readily exposed in condition ready to maintain without involving dismounting of the seat even when the revolving upper structure is small in size.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 1996Date of Patent: February 10, 1998Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Kobe Seiko ShoInventors: Yoshiaki Murakami, Isao Miyachi, Takumi Sobajima

Patent number: 4551849Abstract: A speaker for the automotive audio system utilizes at least a part of a vehicle panel which constitutes a vehicle body independently of the speaker and adapted for oscillation at an audio frequency. The vehicle panel serving as a sound-producing medium comprises an inner section to be directly driven by a driver unit of the speaker and an outer section connected to the first section via a relatively flexible intermediate section. The relatively flexible intermediate section is adapted to transmit the audio frequency oscillation. The relatively flexible intermediate section serves for amplifying the magnitude of the audio frequency vibration of the vehicle panel and/or for expanding the audio frequency range to be reproduced. Especially, the relatively flexible intermediate section is adapted to improve reproduction of relatively low frequency range of audio sound.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 1983Date of Patent: November 5, 1985Assignee: Nissan Motor Company, LimitedInventors: Junichi Kasai, Takayuki Yanagishima, Akio Ajimine, Yoshiaki Murakami, Akimitsu Shino, Tatsuya Watanabe

Patent number: 4550428Abstract: A driver unit for an audio speaker has a stationary component and a vibrating component associated with an automotive audio system and fixed to the vehicle panel. The stationary component is suspended from the vehicle body so that an electromagnetic section of the vibrating component is subject to a permanent magnetic field generated by the stationary component. A guide member is interposed between the stationary component and the vibrating component for guiding movement of the vibrating component in the axial direction. The guide member is adapted to restrict movement of the vibrating component in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction in order to prevent the vibrating component from being displaced laterally in relation to the permanent magnetic field.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 1983Date of Patent: October 29, 1985Assignees: Nissan Motor Company, Limited, Clarion Co. Patent number: 4499340Abstract: The driver of a speaker for an automotive audio system includes a plurality of magnetic coils wound around a common bobbin. Each of the magnetic coils is connected to one of a plurality of amplifiers each of which output an identical drive signal. By applying the common drive signal to each magnetic coil, the electromagnetic field created around the magnetic coil is enhanced approximately in proportion to the number of magnetic coils. Due to this increased electromagnetic force, a vehicle panel serving as a sound-amplifying medium can be satisfactorily and successfully driven so as to produce high-quality sound. The amplifiers are adapted to amplify the low-frequency components of the audio signal from a main amplifier.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 1983Date of Patent: February 12, 1985Assignees: Nissan Motor Company, Limited, Clarion Co., Ltd.Inventors: Junichi Kasai, Takayuki Yanagishima, Akio Ajimine, Yoshiaki Murakami, Akimitsu Shino, Tatsuya Watanabe
