  • Publication number: 20170274782
Abstract: When ignition-on operation is made in first electric power supply processing during external charging, and a post-operation electric energy is not larger than a predetermined electric energy that is an electric energy consumption of a low-voltage device after the ignition-on operation, an automobile continues the first electric power supply processing. In the first electric power supply processing, from between a first DC/DC converter and a second DC/DC converter, only the second DC/DC converter is selected to run to supply electric power to a low-voltage-system electric power line. When the post-operation electric energy exceeds the predetermined electric energy, the automobile makes a switch to second electric power supply processing in which only the first DC/DC converter is selected to run from between the first DC/DC converter and the second DC/DC converter to supply electric power to the low-voltage-system electric power line.

  • Patent number: 9683480
Abstract: In a spark ignition engine, a thermal insulation thin layer is formed over a wall surface, facing an inside of a combustion chamber, of a base material forming the combustion chamber, and for a thermal conductivity ? [W/(m·K)], a thermal diffusivity ? [mm2/s], and a thickness L [?m] of the thermal insulation thin layer, L?16.7×? and L?207.4×(?)0.5 are satisfied. With such a configuration, a heat loss Q_total escaping from gas in a cylinder to the wall of the combustion chamber over all strokes can be reduced, and the thermal efficiency can be improved without inducing degradation of knocking due to an increase in an amount of heating Q_intake of the gas in the cylinder during an intake stroke.

  • Patent number: 9448054
Abstract: A throttle opening detection device includes a rotor which is rotated in an interlocking manner by manipulation of an acceleration grip which is mounted together with the rotor on a handlebar. First magnets are arranged near a peripheral portion of one side surface of the rotor along the circumferential direction of the rotor, while second magnets are respectively laminated to the first magnets, and have opposite polarities to the first magnets. The first magnets with the second magnets laminated thereto are disposed with a set spacing therebetween. A magnetic sensor for detecting a magnetic force generated by all the magnets is arranged to oppose, with a clearance therebetween, the one side surface of the rotor in which the magnets are arranged, in an axial direction of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20160245669
Abstract: A Halbach array is formed from first to third magnets provided to a rotor. Of shortest straight-line distances (clearance distances) between the first to third magnets and a Hall element as facing the first to third magnets after moving relative to the first to third magnets, the shortest straight-line distance between the second magnet and the Hall element is set the longest. In other words, the second magnet is placed at a position offset from the first magnet. In addition, the second magnet may be offset from the third magnet.
