  • Publication number: 20090065326
Abstract: A valve medium processing device for IC coins and coins includes a housing having an insertion slot with an IC coin passage connected to receive IC coins from the insertion slot. A coin passage is also connected to receive coins from the insertion slot. A retaining unit for IC coins selectively stops and releases an IC coin, so that a read and/or write unit can establish a value for the IC coin. An IC coin allocating unit is positioned downstream in the IC coin passage for directing an IC coin to one of an IC coin storage passage and a retain passage. • Patent number: 7495692
Abstract: In an image processing device such as an electronic camera having a detecting section which detects blurring of an image (movement of the image) picked up by an imaging element, a part of evaluation or calculation required for controls (AF, AE, AWB, etc.) is performed in parallel with the detection of the blurring of the image in order to speed up the controls. After completing the detection of the image blurring, an influence of the blurring is corrected to perform final calculation. In this case, an image area as a calculation object can be limited to raise a processing efficiency.

  • Patent number: 7372987
Abstract: A three-dimensional image evaluation unit (100) for evaluating an input image. The parallax statistic is calculated by measuring the parallax included in the input image by a parallax measuring means (3), the static parallax evaluation value for the calculated parallax statistic and/or a dynamic parallax evaluation value for a temporal change in the parallax statistic is determined by a static parallax evaluating means (4-1) and/or a dynamic parallax evaluating means (4-2) of an evaluating means (4) to evaluate parallax information on the image. An abrupt change in the parallax can be evaluated thereby, and countermeasures against errors in measurement and noise of the image can be taken, so that parallax information on the image can be suitably evaluated.

  • Publication number: 20080060908
Abstract: A small-sized value medium processing device discriminates the genuine/false status of coins, and reads or write processes an electric information recording medium. The value medium processing device allows a coin slotted into a slot to roll along a coin path for discriminating the coin genuine/false status wherein the coin in the coin path can be cancelled by a canceling device. Slots for a coin and for an electric value recording medium are at least partly common with each other. A detecting device for the electric value recording medium is provided in the electric value medium slot. A deactivating device deactivates the canceling device based on detection by the detecting device.

  • Publication number: 20080011578
Abstract: A coin selector prevents illegal actuation of a coin sensor for real coin detection and is reduced in size and has a high coin processing rate, and which can cancel a coin to be cancelled reliably. The coin selector detects the passage of a coin based upon a signal from a coin sensor disposed downstream of a real/fake discriminating unit formed along a coin passage through which the coin moves. A moving direction changing unit for a coin is provided on the coin passage downstream of the real/fake discriminating unit and the coin passage downstream of the moving direction changing unit is disposed on a plane different from a plane on which the moving direction changing unit is present.

  • Publication number: 20070291137
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus includes an imaging unit outputting two kinds of imaging signals, that is, a first imaging signal and a second imaging signal. A first calculating unit selectively processes the two kinds of imaging signals to generate an AE evaluation value. A second calculating unit selectively processes the two kinds of imaging signals to generate a luminance signal, and generates an AF evaluation value from the generated luminance signal. An image processor executes image processing with respect to the two kinds of imaging signals to obtain an image data.
