Abstract: A germicidal composition comprising: i) a compound of formula (1): ##STR1## wherein at least one of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 represents a linear or branched C.sub.8-30 alkyl or alkenyl group and the remaining groups are the same or different and individually represent a methyl, ethyl or benzyl group; R.sup.4 represents a methyl or ethyl group; R.sup.5 represents a linear or branched C.sub.1-30 alkyl or alkenyl group, or a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether or polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether having a linear or branched C.sub.1-30 alkyl or alkenyl group; and M represents a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom; andii) a compound of formula (2): ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 have the same meanings as defined above and R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are the same or different and individually have the same meanings as R.sup.5, wherein the weight ratio of compound (1) to compound (2) is from 99:1 to 80:20.

Abstract: Described is a detergent composition comprising (A) a sulfate ester surfactant, (B) at least one surfactant selected from amphoteric surfactants, amine oxide surfactants, alkanol amide surfactants and amide amino-acid surfactants, (C) a cationic bactericide and (D) a metal chelating agent, the weight ratio of said (A) to (B) being 1-50 and the content of said (C) being 0.2 wt. % to 5 wt. %.The detergent composition according to the present invention has excellent detergency, foamability and foam durability and at the same time, has high bactericidal effects because it can be mixed stably with a cationic bactericide.

Abstract: A transparent liquid bleaching agent composition having a transparent appearance and excellent storage stability and bleaching power, characterized by comprising hydrogen peroxide (a), a surfactant (b) and a bleach activator (c) capable of yielding an organic peracid when reacted with hydrogen peroxide and having a parameter .beta. of a mixed system consisting of the surfactant (b) and the bleach activator (c) as calculated according to the following equation of smaller than -2: ##EQU1## wherein C.sub.1 : the critical micelle concentration of the surfactant;C.sub.2 : the critical micelle concentration of the bleach activator;.alpha..sub.1 : the molar fraction of the surfactant in the whole mixed solute (molar fraction of added surfactant);.alpha..sub.2 : the molar fraction of the bleach activator in the whole mixed solute (molar fraction of added activator);C*: the critical micelle concentration of theX.sub.1 : the molar fraction of the surfactant in the mixed micelle; andX.sub.

Abstract: A germicidal-disinfectant detergent composition comprising (a) a cationic germicide, (b) a metal chelating agent and (c) at least one surfactant selected from anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants is described. Excellent detergency and germicidal action are provided.
