  • Publication number: 20070125325
Abstract: A two-stroke cycle engine using a preceding air-layer for scavenging and having a scavenger passage connected to a branching scavenger passage opened to a scavenging port and a connecting passage linking the air and fuel passages so that negative pressure in the air passage forces the fuel-air mixture in the fuel passage into the air passage. The engine also has a removable guide with a surface forming a curved smooth channel which is attachable to the scavenger passage in the crankcase from the mounting surface, and forms a portion of the scavenger passage with the curved channel. The blow-up angle of the scavenger passage varies along the circumference of the cylinder, and the crankcase is configured such that the front and rear portions are separated by a block, and a scavenger passage is provided inside both said front and rear portions of the crankcase and cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20070026294
Abstract: Although nanoparticles capable of providing an extremely large active surface area have highly marked advantages, when a PEFC electrode utilizing nanoparticles is used for a prolonged period of time, the catalyst nanoparticles on carrier of the PEFC electrode because of the nano-size thereof migrate and aggregate together to result in a rapid loss of activity. Thus, there is a demand for inhibition of the above aggregation so as to prevent any drop of catalytic activity. According to the present invention the aggregation of nanoparticles can be inhibited by catalyst nanoparticles containing Pt wherein a porous matter containing an inorganic oxide is disposed on the surface of the catalyst nanoparticles. When use is made of nanoparticles whose surface has undergone specific modification, excellent activity can be realized. Therefore, there are provided surface-modified nanoparticles and catalyst and further a PEFC electrode utilizing these nanoparticles.

  • Patent number: 7099726
Abstract: The production of semiconductor devices manufactured through a plurality of manufacturing sites is unitarily managed and an appropriate production plan is instructed. A computer projects a production plan of an entire company based on various information. The production plan is provided to each manufacturing site as a production instruction and provided to each business person or customer as a storing reply or an order accepting period reply. If the projected production plan (possible production volume) does not coincide with a production plan (necessary production volume), parameters obtained by correcting production allocation, production capability, lead time, yield and the like are re-input from a parameter input terminal. Based on the corrected parameters, the computer re-projects the production plan and projects an optimum production plan.

  • Publication number: 20060037536
Abstract: The present invention concerns a plasma resistant member comprising Y2O3 or YAG thermal performed thermal spray on an alumina base material, wherein the surface roughness Ra of the alumina base material is 5 ?m or more and 15 ?m or less. By rendering the surface layer of the alumina base material porous to a porosity of 20% or more and 60% or less to a depth of ranging from 10 ?m to 1O0 ?m, aplasma resistant member having an enhanced adhesion strength can be provided. The aforementioned plasma resistant member can be produced by subjecting the surface of analumina base material to chemical etching, and then performing thermal spray Y2O3 or YAG on the roughened surface of the alumina base material to form a plasma resistant layer.

  • Patent number: 6808373
Abstract: Inner peripheral projections are provided on the inner peripheral surface of a wrap portion of an orbiting scroll member, and outer peripheral projections are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the wrap portion. The inner and outer peripheral projections each have an approximately triangular transverse sectional configuration defined by a narrow top of the projection and a pair of concavely arcuate surfaces extending with a wide overall width so that the projections can prevent stress concentration with the concavely arcuate surfaces to increase the mechanical strength and can be readily machined by using a tool, e.g. an end mill. When contacting the mating wrap portion, the narrow tops of the projections are readily crushed or worn. Therefore, the tops of the projections can become fit to the wrap portion without strongly contacting it many times.
