  • Patent number: 11513642
Abstract: A capacitive electronic pen includes a housing, a core body, and a peripheral electrode. In the capacitive electronic pen, the core body includes an electrode core formed of a conductor having a spherical section and a shaft center section. The spherical section of the electrode core is not surrounded by the peripheral electrode and is disposed on a tip (distal) end of the capacitive electronic pen protruding from one opening in the axial direction of the housing. The shaft center section of the electrode core has multiple portions that vary in thickness (a cross-section size) including a thin portion, which coupled with the spherical section, and a thick portion. When the core body is fitted to the core body holder, at least a portion of the shaft center section of the electrode core is thinner than the diameter of the spherical section of the electrode core.

  • Publication number: 20220326182
Abstract: An information processing system is for nondestructive inspection of a measurement target that is a magnetic material covered by a nonmagnetic body. The system includes an information processing device that reduces noise magnetic field components other than magnetic field components coming from the measurement target and/or emphasizes the magnetic field components coming from the measurement target in actual measurement data, based on the actual measurement data and virtual measurement data. The actual measurement data is obtained by applying a magnetic field to the measurement target and actually measuring a magnetic field coming from the measurement target using a magnetic sensor at a measurement position on a surface of the nonmagnetic body. The virtual measurement data is created under virtual conditions that are obtained by modifying actual measurement conditions.

  • Publication number: 20220269359
Abstract: An electronic pen cartridge is replaceable with a refill of a stationery ballpoint pen such that the stationery ballpoint pen housing can be reused as the electronic pen housing. The electronic pen cartridge is of a capacitance type and includes a pen tip which is projectable from an opening on one side in an axial direction of the pen housing. Inside the tubular cartridge housing are an electronic circuit including a signal transmission circuit configured to generate a signal to be supplied to a position detection sensor, and a rechargeable power storage device configured to supply a power supply voltage to the electronic circuit. A coil is wound around a rear end portion of the cartridge housing on a side of the cartridge housing opposite from the pen tip side. The power storage device is charged by a current induced in the coil based on an externally supplied magnetic field.

  • Publication number: 20220261098
Abstract: In a case in which an electronic pen main unit made into a cartridge is held movably in a casing, electrical connections between the electronic pen main unit and electronic circuit components of the casing are reliably established. The electronic pen main unit is fitted to a fitting part disposed in a casing of an electronic pen in which the pen tip side is made to be an opening and is housed in a state of being movable in a hollow part of the casing by a movement mechanism that moves the fitting part in the axial center direction of the casing.

  • Publication number: 20220244798
Abstract: Provided is an electronic pen including an electronic pen body portion, an electronic pen housing being a cylindrical body housing the electronic pen body portion, a connector portion including a connector substrate, and a terminal portion including a base portion raised from the connector substrate in a direction crossing an axial direction and a contact portion extended to a back end side from a position separated from the connector substrate on a back end surface of the base portion, and a connector housing being a cylindrical body housing the connector portion and connected to a back end side of the electronic pen housing. A cross section of the connector housing in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction is substantially triangular. An axial center of the connector substrate coincides with an axial center of the electronic pen body portion when the connector housing is attached to the electronic pen housing.

  • Publication number: 20220197411
Abstract: A thin electronic pen main body is provided to enable a position detection sensor operated by a capacitance method to reliably detect pointed positions. There is provided an electronic pen main body that houses an electronic pen in a cylindrical housing in such a manner that at least a pen tip of the electronic pen may be projected from one opening of the cylindrical housing in an axial direction. The electronic pen main body includes a conductive center electrode, of which one end in the axial direction forms the pen tip, and a peripheral electrode disposed around the center electrode except at least for the pen tip, wherein the peripheral electrode is insulated from the center electrode. When the one end of the center electrode forming the pen tip is projected to the outside from the opening of the cylindrical housing upon use, a portion of the pen tip side of the peripheral electrode is also projected to the outside from the opening of the housing.
