  • Publication number: 20070287968
Abstract: This invention relates to a new more effective method for problems such as hemorrhoids, vulvo-vaginitis, or similar problems. The reason is that the applicant has observed that the regular dressings and medicated gauzes, the medications will be absorbed by the gauze and may diffuse and contaminate the opposing dress or underwear. Also, when used over places such as abscess, and areas that needs drainage, the pressure over the wound may prevent proper draining. In other cases such as hemorrhoids, the problem is both internal and external, which is also true about vaginitis in which case the involvement is the infection and inflammation of both the inner female organ and the external genitalia. In these circumstances using the medication internally may not be effective for the external problems, but it may also cause contamination of the adjacent areas of the body and underwear as well.

  • Publication number: 20070266496
Abstract: Transportation and placement of elderly patients and patients with movement problems to a exam room and on a exam table is difficult and cumbersome. Many times patients need help to move to the exam room. The customary exam tables in the exam rooms have a higher height thus the patient has to move up one step and then to rotate for being able to sit on the exam table. Performing these movements, moving up and the rotation are difficult and time consuming when the person has neuro-muscular or arthritic problems. Many times a nurse or the doctor has to help the patient which has its own difficulties and make cause back pain of the staff members. The same case is true when a patient needs to be moved from a bed to a stretcher and again significant help is needed which needs a capable worker and may cause back problem in such health care providers. For this reason an easier method will be welcomed in solving this problem.

  • Publication number: 20070215169
Abstract: Coloring of hairs are common for beautification, religious reasons and expression of choices. Commonly, a single hair dye is applied to the hairs all over which leaves a uniform color of the hairs. However, this is not ideal in certain conditions, for example when the person wishes to have shades of hair coloring to match the changes that happens with age. Also in circumstance when a person wishes to have a more artistic hair coloring than a uniform hair color. For this reasons a in this application method and means are introduced that allows in this differential coloring to be possible. In this method a hand held brush means allows a predicted amount of the hair dye to be carried to the hairs and applied. This can be done by use of a brush means that has a series of brush units that are capable of holding a predicted amount of the hair dye for being taken to be delivered to the hairs.

  • Publication number: 20030149389
Abstract: This invention is related to wound dressings, supports, protection and care in humans and animals. Commonly, adhesives and wraps are used for this purpose. However, the use of adhesive have multiple problems: they are difficult to use with elastic gloves since the adhesive tapes stick to the gloves, cause skin irritations and discomfort on removal, and do not adhere to the skin covered by hairs. Many times the hair must be shaved which is a process of its own. Wound inspections or the exchange of dressing multiplies their problems and prohibits this process. Furthermore, wound wrapping cannot be done by use of adhesive tapes in an effective and convenient manner. Then, of course, is the major issue of dressing a wound with one hand only, that occurs in certain circumstances. It is very important to have a system that allows a person to be able to dress a wound solely with one hand, since the other one may be wounded. These units are extremely helpful in this regard.

  • Patent number: 5728066
Abstract: This application deals with the problem of injection of a therapeutic or procedural fluids into a vascular system and particularly into the arteries. Commonly, these materials will be washed out quickly due to the rush of the blood in the lumen of the vessel and this prevents the best outcome to be achieved. To prevent this problem the applicant introduces a series of catheters and sheaths that allow a resistance mean or a barrier mean to be created in front of the flow of the blood in the lumen of the vessel. So that the speed of the flow of the blood in the vessel will decrease and this prevents from the quick washout of the injected materials from the injected space. In the prototype model this unit the resistance mean is an inflatable balloon that is located on the body of the catheter and the inflation of that balloon will cause the resistance to build up.
