  • Patent number: 8074832
Abstract: A hinge structure for a lid of an in-vehicle console box includes a storage box having an opening, a lid having a front end and a rear end, and a hinge member having a rotation axis. The hinge member is disposed between the storage box and the lid so the lid rotates around the rotation axis to open and close the opening. A slide mechanism is located between the lid and the hinge member so the lid can move in the directions of the front end and the rear end in relation to the hinge member when opening and closing the lid. A converting mechanism converts a turning force for rotating the lid around the rotation axis to a linear force for sliding the lid in the directions of the front end and rear end so the lid moves in the direction of the rear end when being opened, and in the direction of the front end when being closed.

  • Publication number: 20110280597
Abstract: The voltage detection device includes a first voltage detection part for detecting whether or not a time period ratio during which a voltage of an AC power supply is equal to or larger than a first threshold value is equal to or larger than a first ratio and a second voltage detection part for detecting whether or not a time period ratio during which the voltage of the AC power supply is lower than the first threshold value and equal to or larger than a second threshold value is equal to or larger than a second ratio higher than the first ratio, and determines whether the voltage of the AC power supply is a first commercial voltage or a second commercial voltage lower than the first commercial voltage based on results obtained by the first voltage detection part and by the second voltage detection part.

  • Publication number: 20110185876
Abstract: A keyboard musical instrument provides plural keys of a keyboard to be driven by an automatic playing system; although the automatic playing system selectively drives the keys in accordance with a performance rule expressing a music tune, a motion controller of the automatic playing system changes the performance rule if the human player drives the keys different from those defined in the performance rule so that the automatic playing system changes a part of the music tune in real time fashion during the automatic performance.

  • Patent number: 7902449
Abstract: While a player is selectively depressing and releasing keys of a master musical instrument, the real key movements are expressed by pieces of key motion data, and physical quantity of keys are presumed at a time later than the present time by a time period equal to communication time lag on the key trajectories determined on the basis of the pieces of key motion data; the presumed physical quantity is transmitted to a slave musical instrument through the internet, and the key movements are reproduced on the basis of the presumed physical quantity so that the performance on the master musical instrument is synchronized with that on the slave musical instrument.

  • Publication number: 20100288102
Abstract: An automatic player piano is equipped with an electronic supporting system, which makes a player learn an optimum pedal stroke to a half pedal region; while the player is practicing a music tune on the piano, the electronic supporting system monitors the damper pedal; when the player starts to depress the damper pedal, the electronic supporting system exerts an assisting force on the damper pedal so as to make the player feel the damper pedal light; when the damper pedal reaches an entrance of the half pedal region, the electronic supporting system removes the assisting force from the damper pedal so that the player feels the damper pedal heavy, whereby the player learns the pedal stroke to the half pedal region through the change of load borne by the player.

  • Patent number: 7820902
Abstract: Automatic player pianos and internet form a music performance system for a music session on the automatic player pianos through data communication between the automatic player pianos, and a communication time lag and mechanical time lag are unavoidably introduced between the data transmission and the data reception and between the data reception and tone generation; one of or both of the time lags are compensated by employment of an electronic tone generation, presumption of key positions or presumption of key event so that the slave automatic player piano generates the tones almost concurrently with the tones generated through the master automatic player piano.

  • Publication number: 20100241744
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a network monitoring apparatus includes an unauthorized node determination module, a spoofed address resolution protocol request transmission module, and a spoofed address resolution protocol reply transmission module. The unauthorized node determination module determines whether a sender node which transmits an address resolution protocol request packet is an unauthorized node. The spoofed address resolution protocol request transmission module transmits a spoofed address resolution protocol request packet to a target node corresponding to a target network address in the address resolution protocol request packet if the sender node is an unauthorized node.

  • Patent number: 7723598
Abstract: An electronic proof system is provided in association with an automatic player piano; while a human player is practicing a music tune on the acoustic piano, the electronic proof system monitors the pedals of piano to see whether or not the player brings the pedals to target pedal positions; if the current pedal position is spaced from the target pedal position, the electronic proof system gives rise to fine vibrations of the pedal, and makes the player notice the pedal staying at incorrect pedal position through the tactile impression.

  • Patent number: 7557280
Abstract: An automatic player piano is a combination between an acoustic piano and an automatic playing system, and a grand piano and an upright piano are used as the acoustic piano; the grand piano has action units prompter than action units of the upright piano so that a half-stroke recorded through the grand piano is not reproducible by the upright piano; the automatic playing system causes the hammers to rotate toward the strings without any escape thereby compensating the poor promptness with the short keystroke of the keys until the rotation of hammers.

  • Publication number: 20090137200
Abstract: A structure for supporting an air guide vane in a supply opening for air conditioning prevents abrupt changes of load resistance to rotation of the air guide van and provides a good operational feel when rotating the air guide vane. A supporting member of the air guide vane is an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer having a hardness of between Shore A80 and Shore D60. The degree of mold transferability of olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer is characteristically lower than that of other thermoplastic elastomers. By virtue of molding an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer microscopic concavities and convexities are formed on the surface of the supporting member. The rotation shaft of the air guide vane is supported by multiple point contacts with the inner surface respective through-holes.

  • Patent number: 7528309
Abstract: While an automatic player piano is reenacting a music tune, the automatic player piano sometimes fails to miss a tone or tones in a repetition due to a high-speed key movement; a controller searches a music data file for a series of key events expressing the repetition, and makes the key movements uniform without changing the lapse of time from the last key event before the repetition and the lapse of time to the first key event after the repetition so that the automatic player piano is less liable to miss a tone.

  • Publication number: 20090013856
Abstract: While a player is fingering a music tune on a piano, an electronic assistant system monitors the keys to see whether or not the player starts to produce tones through a particular playing technique such as repetition; when the electronic assistant system finds particular key movements unique to the particular playing technique in an early stage, the electronic assistant system decides that the player intends to produce the tone through the particular playing technique, and forces the key to travel on a reference key trajectory in the later stage, whereby the player learns the particular playing technique.

  • Patent number: 7473841
Abstract: A servo controller of an automatic player piano normalizes an actual key position to a value less than a reference value indicative of a target stop on a reference trajectory when the key is found in a region immediately before the target stop and to another value greater than the reference value when the key exceeds the target stop, and adjusts a driving signal to a proper value in such a manner that a solenoid-operated key actuator minimizes the difference between the value or another value and the reference value, whereby the servo controller keeps the key in a narrow region on both sides of the target stop for reproducing stop-and-go key motion.
