Abstract: A low profile bicycle pedal having a pedal body supported by a pedal shaft to be rotatably about an axis of the pedal shaft and at a least pair of clamping members attached to the pedal body for releasably coupling a cleat of a cyclist's shoe thereto. Preferably, at least one of the clamping members is pivotally coupled to the pedal body. The cleat has a substantially C-shape with a pair of attachment portions for coupling the cleat to the cyclist's shoe, and connecting portion for interconnecting the attachment portions together. The attachment portions and the connecting portions form a pedal shaft receiving notch for accommodating the pedal shaft when coupled to the pedal body. In the first embodiment, the pedal body is provided with a friction adjusting mechanism for selectively increasing and/or decreasing friction between the cleat and the pedal body.

Abstract: A method for controlling an engine for a model and a device therefor capable of improving throttle response. Feed of fuel to the engine is increased during acceleration of the engine and decreased during deceleration thereof. This permits a rotational speed of the engine to be smoothly and rapidly varied, to thereby reduce vibration of the engine and prevent knocking and breathing of the engine. Also, adjustment of a trim provided on a side of a controller leads to adjustment of a needle valve, so that the adjustment may be facilitated.

Abstract: A processing solution for processing an exposed silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprises a compound represented by the following formula (A): ##STR1## wherein A.sub.1, A.sub.2, A.sub.3 and A.sub.4 each represent --COOM.sub.1, --OH, --PO.sub.3 M.sub.1 M.sub.2 or --CONH.sub.2 in which M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 each represent a hydrogen ion, an alkali metal ion or another cation; R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represent a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group or a hydroxyl group; n.sub.1, n.sub.2, n.sub.3 and n.sub.4 each represent an integer of 0, 1 or 2, provided that none of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are hydrogen atoms when n.sub.1 +n.sub.2 =1 and n.sub.3 +n.sub.4 =1; and X represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms or --(B.sub.1 O)m-B.sub.2 -- in which B.sub.1 and B.sub.2 each represent a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and m is an integer of from 1 to 4.

Abstract: An apparatus for processing a silver halide photographic material having an emulsion surface, includes a supply device to supply processing solution from a container to the emulsion surface through a space; a converter to convert one of density level of an image signal and a light amount of a exposure signal into a processing signal representing an amount of the processing solution; a regulating device to regulate an amount of the processing solution in accordance with the processing signal so that the regulated amount of the processing solution is supplied to the emulsion surface of the silver halide photographic material through the space by the supply device.

Abstract: A method for processing a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a color developing process is disclosed. The color developing process comprisesthe first step of supplying one of a first color developing partial solution containing a color developing agent as a principal component and a second color developing partial solution containing an alkaline agent as a principal component, substantially only to an image-forming surface of the light-sensitive material,the second step of supplying one of the first partial solution and the second partial solution other than that supplied at the first step or a color developing solution containing a color developing agent and an alkaline agent, to the image-forming surface of the light-sensitive material at the same time or just after the first step.

Abstract: A method used for processing a silver halide photographic light sensitive material including steps of developing and treating with a solution having bleaching capability. The solution having bleaching capability comprises a ferric complex salt of a compound represented by the following formula A: ##STR1## wherein A.sub.1, A.sub.2, A.sub.3 and A.sub.4 are independently a --CH.sub.2 OH group, a --PO.sub.3 M.sub.2 group or a --COOM group, which may be the same or different; M is a cation: and X is an alkylene group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms or a --(B.sub.1 O).sub.n --B.sub.2 -- group, in which is an integer of 1 to 8, B.sub.1 and B.sub.2 are independently an alkylene group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be the same or different. The solution can be used as a bleaching solution or bleach-fixing solution for color photographic material. The solution may further be used as a reducing solution for reducing an image formed on a photographic light-sensitive material.

Abstract: An automatic processor for processing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material with a processing solution, includes a processing tank containing the processing solution for processing the material; and a circulating path for circulating the processing solution, which communicates with the processing tank. The processor further includes a supplier for supplying a solid composition to the processing tank or the path, in which the expression of V.sub.w .ltoreq.Vf is satisfied, where V.sub.w represents an amount (liter) of the processing solution in a minute in the processing tank and Vf represents an amount (liter) of the processing solution in the path.
