  • Patent number: 11284455
Abstract: A method and apparatus for session management in a wireless network are disclosed. For example, a user endpoint (UE) device, sends a request for a session internet protocol (IP) address assignment using an interface IP address, configures the UE device with the session IP address, provides to a controller an association of the interface and session IP addresses, and receives packets addressed to the session IP address via an access network entity associated with the interface IP address. In one example, a controller receives an association of an interface IP address with a session IP address from an attached UE device, provides to a network node an update on a route to reach the session IP address through the interface IP address, identifies an active interface IP address to receive packets, and configures an open flow switch or router for routing the packets towards the active interface IP address.

  • Patent number: 11275628
Abstract: A method for outputting notification information, a server and a monitoring system are provided. In the method, a database including a correspondence between feature value models and forewarning levels is constructed in advance; a feature value of the audio information is acquired (S102), the acquired feature value is matched with the feature value models in the database (S103), and then a forewarning level corresponding to the audio information is determined (S104); the notification information is output (S107) when the forewarning level meets a preset condition (S105). It can be seen that, the notification information is output by analyzing the audio information, without determining the active targets in the video image; even if there are many active targets in the scene and the trajectories thereof are confusing, the notification information may still be accurately output.

  • Publication number: 20220078333
Abstract: A system of cameras can be used to generate a complete field of view within an edge network. For example, one camera can have a field of view where part of the view is obstructed by an object and/or by the camera's orientation. Yet another camera that is a part of the edge network can supplement the view of the first camera by providing an alternate view. The two views can be stitched together by a coordinate system such that a complete field of view can be utilized by both cameras. Additionally, where a field of view is not available by any stationary camera, the system can dispatch a mobile camera to help supplement the views.

  • Patent number: 11272554
Abstract: A mobile edge computing (MEC) architecture can facilitate utilization of virtual multi-point non-internet protocol (IP) connections in radio access networks (RAN). Thus, the same mobile device can be addressed with multiple radio access technologies (RATs). The MEC can provide service continuity in multi-access technologies using virtual session, and the MEC can terminate a main session between a core network and the MEC, for the mobile device, via a single IP address, Based on the services and the states of the access network in the multi-access environment, the MEC can dynamically select the RAT and access point as the target to deliver the service over the RAN.

  • Publication number: 20220021597
Abstract: Communications services are provided to a device. For instance, where a communications resource is being used by a device via a first communications service provider (CSP) component associated with a first CSP, based on a probabilistic analysis of loading parameters received from a device at the first CSP component. A likelihood that the device will move can be predicted, comprising determining the likelihood is not less than a threshold likelihood. If likely to move, and based on the loading parameters, a loading profile associated with a user of the device is updated resulting in updated likelihoods of usages of the communication resource by the device via respective other CSP components other than the first CSP component. Further, based on the updated likelihoods of usages of the communication resource, at least part of the communications resource can be allocated to the respective other CSP components to facilitate communications with the device.

  • Publication number: 20220018677
Abstract: A simulation of a planned future environment can be presented, including social aspects, along with a simulation of other aspects of the environment, such as sounds and other environment conditions. For example, a user can plan a travel route from point A to point B and view a preview of the journey prior to beginning the journey to envision what to expect and possibly alter their plans as a result. In order for a simulated preview of the journey to be created, a set of data can be collected that can represent the location of connected or non-connected objects at a point in time and predict their location at later points in time. The prediction can be validated or confirmed by other connected devices long the route.

  • Publication number: 20210407292
Abstract: This disclosure describes a solution to facilitate collaborative vehicle warnings via an edge node. An edge network can provide resources to the vehicles such that the vehicles can operate in a harmonic and safe manner. For example, a non-compliance of a vehicle captured by a video camera of another vehicle can be sent to the edge node for analysis. If other data related to non-compliances of the vehicle are received by the edge node, the edge node can label the vehicle as an unsafe vehicle. In response to the labeling the vehicle as an unsafe vehicle, the edge node can share this information with the vehicles that sent the video feed info and/or other vehicles that are nearby.
