Abstract: An indication map delivery method, an indication operation method, a device, and a system are provided. In the embodiments of the present invention, a compressed Indication Map (IM) generated by a wireless access device includes at least one of a tiny partial bitmap sub-element, a skipped indication bits sub-element, and an indication bit offset sub-element, and consecutive indication bits with the same value at positions in an original IM can be compressed into a skipped indication bits sub-element, an indication bit offset sub-element, or the like. The technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention facilitate improvement of compression efficiency of an IM, and further reduce radio air interface resources occupied for sending the IM and improve IM sending efficiency.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for updating a group temporal key, a related apparatus and system. A method includes: An access point AP sets an updating period of a group temporal key GTK; the access point updates the GTK whenever the updating period of the GTK arrives; the access point receives a GTK request that is sent by a mobile station STA in an association list within a preset delay time period after arrival of the updating period of the GTK, where the association list records all mobile stations communicating with the access point, and the preset delay time period is shorter than the updating period of the GTK; and when the preset delay time period after the arrival of the updating period of the GTK arrives, the access point sends the updated GTK to the mobile station in the association list according to the GTK request.

Abstract: An information query method, including sending, by a first device, a data-excluded information query request frame, where the data-excluded information query request frame includes first control information and a first hash value; receiving, by the first device, a data-excluded information query response frame sent by a second device. The data-excluded information query response frame includes second control information, a second hash value, and an address of the second device. The method also includes sending, by the first device, a data-contained information query request frame to the second device when the first device determines that a third hash value is consistent with the second hash value, so that the second device responds to the data-contained information query request frame when receiving the data-contained information query request frame. Correspondingly, the present disclosure further provides a related device.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for controlling access of a terminal device to a wireless network. The method includes: receiving, by an access point device, a first wireless network access request message sent by a first terminal device; receiving, by the access point device, feedback information of one or more directional devices within a predetermined area; judging, by the access point device according to the received feedback information, whether N directional devices within the predetermined area all find the first wireless network access request message by monitoring; and if yes, enabling the first terminal device to access the wireless network, where the N is the number of the directional devices within the predetermined area.

Abstract: A method and a device for establishing a connection. The method includes the steps of: obtaining, by a group member device of a wireless device group, information about a to-be-connected device and then sending the information to a group owner device of the wireless device group, and/or transmitting, by the group member device, information about the group owner device to the to-be-connected device, where the information about the to-be-connected device and/or the information about the group owner device is used by the to-be-connected device and the group owner device to discover each other; and enabling, by the group member device, the to-be-connected device and the group owner device to share a first password, wherein the first password is used by the to-be-connected device and the group owner device to establish a connection after the to-be-connected device and the group owner device discover each other.

Abstract: A method for configuring a wireless device includes acquiring, by a third device, information about a first device, sharing a first key with the first device, and sending a first trigger message to the first device, where the first trigger message includes information about the third device; and acquiring, by the third device, information about a second device, sharing a second key with the second device, and sending a second trigger message to the second device, where the second trigger message includes the information about the third device and the information about the first device, such that the second device negotiates, according to the information about the third device and the information about the first device and based on authentication of the third device, with the first device to generate a third key, and establishes a connection between the first device and the second device using the third key.

Abstract: A wireless terminal configuration method, device, and system. The method provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure includes acquiring, by a configuration device, device identification information and configuration password information of a wireless terminal; sending, by the configuration device, configuration triggering information to the wireless terminal according to the device identification information of the wireless terminal; performing, by the configuration device, verification with the wireless terminal according to the configuration password information; sending, by the configuration device, credential information required for the wireless terminal to access an access point (AP) and device identification information of the AP to the wireless terminal; and sending, by the configuration device, the credential information and the device identification information of the wireless terminal to the AP.

Abstract: A sign-in method includes receiving, by a first terminal, a sign-in request message sent by a second terminal, where the sign-in request message carries an identifier (ID) of an activity and an ID of a user of the second terminal, and the sign-in request message is used to indicate that the user of the second terminal requests to sign in to the activity in the first terminal; and sending a sign-in response message to the second terminal, where the sign-in response message carries the ID of the activity, and the sign-in response message is used to indicate that the user of the second terminal successfully signs in to the activity in the first terminal.

Abstract: A resource reservation method applied to a WiFi system includes: receiving, by a destination node, a resource reservation request sent by a source node, and sending a resource reservation response to the source node, where the resource reservation response includes a reservation time, and the resource reservation response is used to enable another node, which can monitor the resource reservation response, in the WiFi system to set a network allocation vector of the another node according to the reservation time; determining, by the destination node, whether data sent by the source node is received within a predetermined time; and if the data is not received, sending a resource release instruction, so that the another node initializes the network allocation vector of the another node, and re-contends for a resource, thereby solving a hidden node problem and also ensuring that a network resource is fully and properly used.

Abstract: A method for link setup includes sending a first authentication message including a user identifier to an access point (AP). A second authentication message sent by the AP according to the user identifier is received and includes an EAP method request message and a ANonce of the AP. A first PTK is generated according to the ANonce, an SNonce, and a first MSK. A third authentication message is sent to the AP. The third authentication message includes an EAP method response message, the SNonce, and a first MIC that is generated according to the first PTK. A fourth authentication message is sent by the AP when it authenticates, according to a second PTK, that the first MIC is correct. The fourth authentication message includes an EAP-Success message, configuration information configured by the AP for the terminal, and a second MIC. The second MIC is authenticated according to the first PTK.

Abstract: System and method embodiments are provided for transmitting a packet to a wireless device using a partial identifier. The embodiments enable communication using partial addresses with reduced risk of collision between two devices that share the same partial identifier. In an embodiment, a method includes determining at the first wireless station a scrambled identifier for a second wireless station according to a synchronized time and a partial identifier corresponding to one of the first wireless station and the second wireless station, wherein the synchronized time is synchronized with a time in the second wireless station, and wherein the partial identifier comprises a portion of a device identifier for at least one of the first wireless station and the second wireless station, and transmitting a packet to the second wireless station, wherein the packet comprises a payload and a header, and wherein the header comprises the scrambled identifier.

Abstract: A method for implementing power saving of an access point on a wireless communication network includes: when detecting that no mobile terminal is associated, switching, by the access point, from a normal working mode to a power saving working mode; and periodically broadcasting, by the access point, a simplified beacon frame in the power saving working mode, where the simplified frame includes only a service set identity. An embodiment of the present invention further provides an access point on a wireless communication network. The access point broadcasts the simplified beacon frame in the power saving working mode. Therefore, the length of the beacon frame is shortened, thereby shortening the sending time to achieve the objective of reducing power consumption.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for implementing local routing of traffic, a base station and a system are provided, which relate to the field of communications technologies. The method for implementing local routing of traffic includes: judging whether local routing processing is performed on an uplink traffic flow of a first terminal that serves as a sending end; if it is judged as yes, updating a key of the uplink traffic flow of the first terminal and/or a key of a downlink traffic flow of a second terminal that serves as a receiving end to a public key; forwarding an encrypted data packet of the uplink traffic flow of the first terminal to the second terminal through the downlink traffic flow of the second terminal, where an encryption and decryption operation is not performed on the encrypted data packet before the forwarding or during the forwarding.

The method includes receiving a first message that is sent by a second user equipment and at least includes implicit user identifier information of the second user equipment, obtaining, according to correspondences stored in a first user equipment, a user identifier corresponding to the implicit user identifier information of the second user equipment; and determining, in the user identifier corresponding to the implicit user identifier information of the second user equipment, a user identifier of the second user equipment, to discover a user of the second user equipment. Abstract: A method for positioning a wireless terminal, and a related device and system are provided. The method includes: obtaining, by a wireless terminal, a positioning service period and an identifier of a positioning channel from a first access point; switching, by the wireless terminal, to the positioning channel in the positioning service period; and broadcasting, by the wireless terminal, a location measurement message through the positioning channel, so that at least three access points in an access point group where the first access point is located obtain positioning measurement data after receiving the location measurement message, so as to estimate a location of the wireless terminal. Embodiments of the present invention can shorten positioning time of the wireless terminal, reduce power consumption, and improve utilization of a network wireless channel.

Abstract: A security authentication method, device, and system are provided. A first device and a second device perform security authentication by using a first mapping key and a second mapping key, where the first mapping key is generated according to an initial key of the first device and a first predetermined algorithm, the second mapping key is generated according to an initial key of the second device and the first predetermined algorithm. A device in embodiments of the present invention performs security authentication by using a mapped initial key, which can increase the difficulty for an attacker to acquire a key, thereby improving security of a wireless network connection.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, an apparatus and a system for controlling access points. The method includes: receiving load information on working APs in a coverage area; judging a current overall capacity of the coverage area according to the load information; and controlling APs in the coverage area according to a judgment result. A network management server includes a first receiving module, a first judgment module, and a first control module. The system includes the network management server, working APs, and non-working APs. The embodiments of the present invention also provide another method for controlling APs, a primary working AP, and a system for controlling APs. In the embodiments of the present invention, APs in the same coverage area are automatically controlled to turn on or off according to the service traffic; resources are utilized rationally; labor costs are saved; and the work efficiency is improved.

Abstract: A device discovery method, apparatus and system. The method includes transmitting a detection request message on a set transmit channel, where the detection request message carries interception rule information of a local device, and the interception rule information includes at least interception time information and/or interception channel information; and intercepting, according to the interception rule information, a detection response message transmitted by another device. The device discovery method, apparatus and system provided by the embodiments of the present invention can improve the device discovery efficiency.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a device association method, apparatus, and system, where the method includes: receiving a broadcast frame or a configuration response frame that includes access identification information generated by a first device and that is sent by a second device; and identifying the second device according to the access identification information and associating with the second device. In the embodiments of the present invention, the first device identifies a matched second device according to the access identification information, and then may directly associate with the second device, thereby avoiding a process of selecting a correct second device from multiple second devices, simplifying a process for the first device to join a WLAN in which the second device is located, and also making an operation by a user simpler.
