DETAILED DESCRIPTION

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of base/rear 40 of invention 10. The base/rear 40 of invention 10 consist of flexible material which can be repeatedly bent and straightened without fracturing. In the preferred embodiment, the base 40 is a flexible material, such as polypropylene webbing, nylon webbing, or cotton webbing. However, the base 40 can consist of any material which can be repeatedly bent without fracturing, such as regular cotton, nylon, and various other materials and fabrics.

The base 40 is typically 1/16th to 2/16th of an inch thick and has dimensions of 1 inch wide×18 inches long.

At one end of base 40 is a Velcro loop strip 20, ¾ of an inch wide by 4 and ½ inches long, and at the other end of base 40 is a Velcro hook strip 30, ¾ of an inch wide by 4 and ½ inches long. The Velcro loop strip 20 and Velcro hook strip 30 allows for securing headgear 10 to head. However, other means of securing may also be used.

Base is used to increase durability, strengthen invention, aid in securing Velcro loop strip 20 and Velcro hook strip 30, absorb moisture(depending on material used), cushion between invention and head, and fashion purposes as a wide variety of colors may be used to match, highlight, contrast, or accentuate.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of front 50 of invention 10. The front of invention consists of flexible material which can be repeatedly bent and straightened without fracture. In preferred embodiment the front 50 is a flexible material such as vinyl or leather. However, the front 50 can consist of any flexible material or fabric.

The front 50 is typically 1/32nd to 1/16th of an inch thick and has dimensions of 1 inch wide×18 inches long.

At one end of front 50 is a Velcro loop strip 20, ¾ of an inch wide and 4 and ½ inches long, and at the other end of front 50 is a Velcro hook strip 30, ¾ of an inch wide by 4 and ½ inches long.

Base 40 is connected to front 50 via use of thread. Base 40 is sewn onto front 50 approximately 1/16th to ⅛th of an inch from perimeter with Velcro loop 20 and Velcro hook 30 sewn between base 40 and front 50 ¾ of an inch from each end.

FIG. 3 is an enlarged perspective of invention 10 further illustrating collegiate markings/logos 70. In preferred embodiment markings/logos 70 are applied via embroidery. However, markings/logos can be applied via other methods such as silk screening, stickers, or adhesive.

Embroidery is typically done before attaching front second material/pattern 60 to base 40. However, embroidery can be done after attachment of base 40 to front 60.

Markings/logos are great for school/team, club, and organization support, representation, or affiliation.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of invention of FIG. 3 illustrated in use.

Note: Dimensions stated above are standard adult lengths and widths. Actual lengths and widths can vary due to sizing for children, customization, and or customer preference.
