At this time, if a rematch is requested, the portable terminal returns to step (S417), and performs a process of executing a game in the sponsor league. On the other hand, if a rematch is not requested, the portable terminal 10 terminates operation about sponsor league execution.

Furthermore, at step (S415), if the sponsor league period is not valid (meaning the period has terminated), then at step (S425) the portable terminal can receive a pop-up message that informs of the termination of the sponsor league period and a sponsor league prizewinner list through the sponsor-league-providing-server 30, and can display the received pop-up message and the sponsor league prizewinner list to the screen. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 14, the portable terminal 10 can display a message in the form of a pop-up window that notifies the viewer that the sponsor league valid period is terminated. In addition, as illustrated in FIG. 15, the sponsor league prizewinner list can be received from the sponsor-league-providing-server 30, and can be displayed to the screen. At this time, the advertisement 515 registered by the sponsor can be displayed together in the prizewinner list.

At step (427), after the prizewinner list is displayed, the portable terminal 10 can determine whether a signal for checking the user total ranking of a particular sponsor league is sensed. At this time, if an input signal for checking the ranking is sensed, then at step (S428), the portable terminal 10 receives a sponsor league ranking list from the sponsor-league-providing-server 30. Thereafter, at step (S429), the portable terminal 10 can display the received ranking list to the screen. On the other hand, if an input signal for checking the sponsor league ranking is not sensed, the portable terminal 30 terminates operation on sponsor league execution.

The present invention is not limited to this example.
