Key and Electronic Device Locator/Holder
A device for retrieval of keys or small electronic devices while stored in clothing pockets, handbags, purses, backpacks, fanny packs, briefcase or other similar carrying cases or packs. The length and flexibility allows the device to drape outside the pocket or bag for easy and quick retrieval of keys or electronic devices. The device is comprised of a clasp at one end to attach keys or electronic devices, a length of flexible material and at the other end a ring for attaching ornaments, flashlights, personal protection devices, door openers or other similar devices.
1. Field of Invention
The present invention relates to a key and electronic device locator/holder. Specifically the invention pertains to a device that allows the user to attach keys or electronic devices and locate them readily in a purse, backpack, fanny pack, pocket, briefcase or such bag by means of allowing the device to drape over the outside of said bag without being attached.
2. Brief Description of Prior Art
Bags, purses, pockets and similar containers that are typically used to carry keys or electronic devices such as cell phones are often cluttered and disorganized making it difficult to easily locate and retrieve said items thus causing a delay. As an example, urgent phone calls may be delayed in being placed or quick entry into your car or home may be hindered.
SUMMARY OF INVENTIONThe device allows the user to attach either one key, group of keys, an electronic device or a combination thereof to one end. On the opposite end the user may attach, if desired, accessories such as ornaments, flashlights, personal protection devices, door openers or other desirable devices or attachment or combination thereof. The device is of a length and flexibility so as to allow the user to place the key or electronic device end into a purse, backpack, briefcase, pocket or bag while the opposite end drapes outside the purse, backpack, briefcase, pocket or bag. The device shall not be affixed or attached to the interior or exterior of the purse, backpack, briefcase, pocket or bag. This will allow the user to easily retrieve and pull out their keys or electronic device and reduce searching or rummaging through their purse, backpack, briefcase, pocket or bag.
It is demonstrated that the present invention provides the means to readily locate keys or electronic devices and quickly retrieve them without hindrance of attachment to a purse, backpack, briefcase, pocket or bag. Further, by providing the length of flexible strap material the invention offers the ability to locate keys or electronic devices even when not draped over the exterior of the purse, backpack, briefcase, pocket or bag.
