A device includes a chassis. The chassis includes a bottom, and a top, a first sidewall, and a second sidewall. The bottom connects with the first and second sidewall flanges. The second sidewall connects with the top and the bottom. The top flange is spaced from the second sidewall flanges. A bottom flange is located on the bottom. A top flange is located on the top. A first sidewall flange is located on the first sidewall. A second sidewall flange is located on the second sidewall. A plurality of first locking holes and a plurality of locking openings is defined in the first sidewall flange. A plurality of second locking holes and a plurality of recess portions is located in the second sidewall flange. At least one of each first locking hole, each second locking hole, each recess portion is configured to secure a bezel.

BACKGROUND

1. Technical Field

The present disclosure relates to a device with a chassis.

2. Description of Related Art

A computer system includes a chassis and a bezel secured to the chassis for decorating the computer system. However, the chassis is manufactured to match with only one type of bezels. Therefore, there is room for improvement in the art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The disclosure is illustrated by way of example and not by way of limitation in the figures of the accompanying drawings in which like references indicate similar elements. It should be noted that references to “an” or “one” embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean at least one.

Referring to FIGS. 1-2, the device in accordance with an embodiment includes a chassis 10 and a mounting member 15. The device may be, for example, a computer.

The chassis 10 is configured for receiving electronic elements, such as a motherboard, a disk drive, a power supply and so on, and includes a bottom 11, a top 14, a first sidewall 13, and a second sidewall 20. The first and second sidewalls 13, 20 are connected to each other and located between the bottom 11 and the top 14. In an embodiment, the bottom 11 is substantially parallel to the top 114 and perpendicular to the first sidewall 13 and the second sidewall 20, and the first sidewall 13 is substantially parallel to the second sidewall 20.

A bottom flange 111 is located on a front edge of the bottom 11. Two securing holes 113 are defined in the bottom flange 111. A first side flange 131 is located on a side edge of the first sidewall 13. A plurality of first locking holes 1311 is defined in the first side flange 131 and arranged in a first vertical line. Two second locking holes 1312 are defined in the first side flange 131 and arranged in a second vertical line, which is substantially parallel to the first vertical line. Two first locking openings 1313 are defined in the first side flange 131. A second side flange 22 is located on a front edge of the second sidewall 20. A plurality of third locking holes 21 is defined in the second side flange 22 and arranged in a third vertical line, which is substantially parallel to the first vertical line. A plurality of recess portions 23, each with a recess portion hole, is located on a side of the second side flange 22.

A top flange 143 is located on a front edge of the top 14, and a pair of through openings 141, adjacent the top flange 143, is defined in the top 14. Two recesses 1431, each with a mounting hole, are located on the top flange 143. A through hole 1432 is defined in the top flange 143 between the two recesses 1431. A second locking opening 1433 is defined in the top flange 143 at a side of the two recesses 1431.

The first and second side flanges 131, 22 are secured to two opposite ends of the bottom flange 111. A drive bracket 19 is secured to the top flange 143 and the first and second side flanges 131, 22. In an embodiment, the drive bracket 19 is configured for receiving storage devices, such as hard disk drives, compact disc read-only Memory drives, and so on.

The mounting member 15 is configured to be secured to the top 14. Two securing portions 151 (only one is shown in FIG. 1) and two tabs 153, each with a tab hole, are located on a bottom of the mounting member 15. Two installing holes 155 are defined in a front side of the mounting member 15.

Referring to FIG. 3, in assembly, the mounting member 15 is placed on a top surface of the top 14. The tabs 153 are engaged in the recesses 1431, with the tab holes aligned with the mounting holes, and the securing portions 151 are engaged in the through openings 141. Two first fasteners (not shown), such as screws, are secured in the tab holes and the mounting holes to secure the mounting member 15 to the chassis 10.

Referring to FIGS. 1-3, the chassis 10 is configured to secure a shielding plate 17 and a first bezel 40.

The shielding plate 17 is configured to cover a space defined by the drive bracket 19, the first and second side flange 131, 22, and the bottom flange 111. A plurality of first shielding plate holes 171 is defined in the shielding plate 17. The plurality of first shielding plate holes 171 corresponds to the first locking holes 1311 of the first side flange 131 and the third locking holes 21 of the second side flange 22. A plurality of second shielding plate holes 173 are defined in the shielding plate 17. In an embodiment, the shielding plate 17 is made of a metal plate. In assembly, a plurality of second fasteners (not shown), such as screws, is engaged in the first shielding plate holes 171 and the corresponding first and third locking holes 1311, 21, to secure the shielding plate 17 to the chassis 10. The second shielding plate holes 173 communicates with the space of the chassis 10.

The first bezel 40 is configured to cover the mounting member 15, the bottom flange 111, and the first and second side flanges 131, 22. Two first positioning posts 41, corresponding to two of the second shielding plate holes 173, are located on the first bezel 40. A plurality of first locking portions 43, corresponding to the first and second locking openings 1313, 1433 of the chassis 10, is located on the first bezel 40. Two second locking portions 45, corresponding to the recess portions 23 of the chassis 10, are located on the first bezel 40. In an embodiment, the first bezel 40 is made of plastic material.

In assembly of the bezel 40, the first bezel 40 is placed on the chassis 10 after the shielding plate 17 is secured to the chassis 10. The first locking portion 43 is engaged in the corresponding first and second locking openings 1313, 1433 of the chassis 10. The first positioning posts 41 are engaged in the corresponding second shielding plate holes 173. The second locking portions 45 are engaged with the recess portions 23. Therefore, the first bezel 40 is secured to the chassis 10 and covers the shielding plate 17.

Referring to FIGS. 4-6, in another embodiment, the chassis 10 is configured to secure a second bezel 50.

The second bezel 50 includes a third locking portion 51, corresponding to the second locking opening 1433, and two fourth locking portions 53, corresponding to the recess portion 23. A fourth locking portion hole 531 is defined in each fourth locking portion 53. In an embodiment, the second bezel 50 is made of a metal plate.

In assembly of the second bezel 50, the third locking portion 51 of the second bezel 50 is engaged in the second locking opening 1433. The fourth locking portions 53 are engaged with the recess portions 23, and the fourth locking portion holes 531 are aligned with the recess portion holes of the recess portions 23. Two third fasteners 80, such as screws, are engaged into the fourth locking portion holes 531 to the recess portion holes of the recess portions 23, to secure the second bezel 50 are secured to the chassis 10.

Referring to FIGS. 7-8, in another embodiment, the chassis 10 is configured to secure a third bezel 60 and the shielding plate 17.

The third bezel 60 defines a plurality of third bezel holes 61, which corresponds to the installing holes 155 of the mounting member 15 and the securing holes 113 of the chassis 10. In assembly, the shielding plate 17 is secured to the chassis 10 (described above). A plurality of fourth fasteners 90, such as screws, are engaged in the third bezel holes 61, the corresponding installing holes 155, and the corresponding securing holes 113. Therefore, the third bezel 60 is secured to the chassis 10. The third bezel 60 covers the shielding plate 17. In an embodiment, the third bezel 60 may be made of plastic material.

Referring to FIGS. 9-10, in another embodiment, the chassis 10 is configured to secure a fourth bezel 70.

The fourth bezel 70 has the same structure as the third bezel 60. A plurality of fourth bezel holes 71 is defined in the fourth bezel 70. The fourth bezel holes 71 correspond to the installing holes 155 of the mounting member 15 and the securing holes 113 of the chassis 10. In assembly, a plurality of fourth fasteners 100, such as screws, is engaged in the fourth bezel holes 71 and the corresponding installing holes 155 and the securing holes 113. Therefore, the fourth bezel 70 is secured to the chassis 10. In an embodiment, the fourth bezel 70 is made of a metal plate.

It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages have been set forth in the foregoing description of embodiments, together with details of the structures and functions of the embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the disclosure to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.

Claims

1. A device comprising:

a chassis comprising a bottom, a top, a first sidewall, and a second sidewall; the bottom connecting with the first and second sidewalls; the second sidewall connecting with the top and the bottom; the top is spaced from the second sidewall; a bottom flange located on the bottom; a top flange located on the top; a first sidewall flange located on the first sidewall; a second sidewall flange located on the second sidewall; a plurality of first locking holes and a plurality of locking openings is defined in the first sidewall flange; and
a plurality of second locking holes is defined in the second sidewall flange, and a plurality of recess portions is located on the second sidewall flange;
wherein at least one of the plurality of first locking holes, the plurality of second locking holes, and the plurality of recess portions is configured to secure a bezel.

2. The device of claim 1, wherein the chassis further comprises a drive bracket; and the top flange and the first and second sidewall flanges are secured to the drive bracket.

3. The device of claim 1, wherein a shielding plate is secured the first and second sidewall flanges.

4. The device of claim 1, wherein the bezel comprises a plurality of first locking portions; and the plurality of first locking portions are engaged in the plurality of locking openings.

5. The device of claim 4, wherein the bezel further comprises a plurality of second locking portions; and the plurality of second locking portions are engaged with the plurality of recess portions.

6. The device of claim 5, wherein each of the plurality of recess portion defines a recess portion hole; each of the plurality of second locking portions defines a locking portion hole; and each recess portion hole and each locking portion hole are configured for receiving a fastener to secure the bezel to the chassis.

7. The device of claim 1, wherein the top defines a pair of through openings; a mounting member is secured to the top and comprises a pair of securing portions; and the pair of securing portions is engaged in the pair of through openings to secure the mounting member to the top.

8. The device of claim 7, wherein a plurality of installing holes is defined in the mounting member for securing the bezel to the chassis.

9. A device comprising:

a chassis comprising a bottom, and a top, a first sidewall, a second sidewall; the bottom connecting with the first and second sidewall flanges; the top spaced from the first and second sidewall flanges; the second sidewall opposite to the first sidewall; a bottom flange located on the bottom; a top flange located on the top; a first sidewall flange located on the first sidewall; a second sidewall flange located on the second sidewall; and
a drive bracket secured to the top flange and the first and second sidewall flange;
wherein the top flange, the bottom flange and the first and second sidewall flanges are configured to secure a bezel.

10. The device of claim 9, wherein a shielding plate is secured the first and second sidewall flanges to cover a space enclosed by the drive bracket, the first and second sidewall flange, and the bottom flange.

11. The device of claim 9, wherein a plurality of first locking holes and a plurality of locking openings defined in the first sidewall flange; a plurality of second locking holes defined in the second sidewall flange; a plurality of recess portions located on the second sidewall flange; wherein at least one of the plurality of first locking holes, the plurality of second locking holes, and the plurality of recess portions is configured to secure the bezel.

12. The device of claim 11, wherein the bezel comprises a plurality of first locking portions; and the plurality of first locking portions are engaged in the plurality of locking openings.

13. The device of claim 12, wherein the bezel further comprises a plurality of second locking portions; and the plurality of second locking portions are engaged with the plurality of recess portions.

14. The device of claim 13, wherein each of the plurality of recess portions defines a recess portion hole; each of the plurality of second locking portions defines a locking portion hole; and each recess portion hole and each locking portion hole is configured for receiving a fastener to secure the bezel to the chassis.

15. The device of claim 10, wherein the top defines a pair of through openings; a mounting member is secured to the top and comprises a pair of securing portions; and the pair of securing portions is engaged in the pair of through openings to secure the mounting member to the top.

16. The device of claim 15, wherein a plurality of installing hole is defined in the mounting member for securing the bezel to the chassis.
