This is directed to systems, processes, machines, and other means that can allow a user to display miniature figures. The invention can contain allow a user to display miniature figurines in a conspicuous manner.
This application claims priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 61/473,294 filed on Apr. 8, 2011.
FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThis invention relates furniture Which stores hobby miniatures and models.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONOne of the difficulties of displaying hobby miniatures and models is that the hobby miniatures and models frequently are insulated and cannot be seen. Other systems in use generally focus only on protection of the hobby miniatures and models. This is often done with the use of separate foam compartments for each miniature or model. The present system of railing, trays, and sub-frays combined with the use of small magnets allows for organized storage while providing full visibility and accessibility to the miniatures and models for regular use.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention includes methods, systems, and other means for storing and displaying hobby miniatures and models.
Having thus described the invention in general terms, reference will now be made to the accompanying drawings, which are not necessarily drawn to scale, and wherein:
Embodiments of the present invention overcome many of the obstacles associated with storing hobby miniatures and models, and now will be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings that show some, but not all embodiments of the claimed inventions. Indeed, the invention may be embodied. in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will satisfy applicable legal requirements. Like numbers refer to like elements throughout.
The first bevel module 18 comprises 3×2 tray module 20. 3×2 tray module 20 further comprises six large tray module holes 30. The second bevel module 18 comprises 3×4 tray module 22. 3×4 tray module 22 comprises 12 medium tray module holes 28. The third bevel module 18 comprises 4×4 tray module 24. 4×4 tray module 24 further comprises 16 small tray module holes 26. As shown in
To assemble the device a user inserts 4×4 tray module 24 onto a first tray miniature rest floor 34, and then inserts the first tray miniature rest floor 34 onto the first bevel module 18. The user then inserts the first bevel module 18 onto tray module 16. Next, the user inserts 3×4 tray module 22 onto a second tray miniature rest floor 34 and then inserts the second miniature tray model rest floor 34 onto the second bevel module 18. The user then inserts the second bevel module 18 onto tray module 16. Next, the user inserts 3×2 tray module 20 onto a third tray miniature rest floor 34 and then inserts the third miniature tray model rest floor 34 onto the third bevel module 18. The user then inserts the third is all module 18 onto tray module 16.
