BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The present invention will be described by way of exemplary embodiments, but not limitations, illustrated in the accompanying drawings in which like references denote similar elements, and in which:

FIG. 1 illustrates a side perspective view of a tile spacing device, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS

Various aspects of the illustrative embodiments will be described using terms commonly employed by those skilled in the art to convey the substance of their work to others skilled in the art. However, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced with only some of the described aspects. For purposes of explanation, specific numbers, materials and configurations are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the illustrative embodiments. However, it will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without the specific details. In other instances, well-known features are omitted or simplified in order not to obscure the illustrative embodiments.

Various operations will be described as multiple discrete operations, in turn, in a manner that is most helpful in understanding the present invention. However, the order of description should not be construed as to imply that these operations are necessarily order dependent. In particular, these operations need not be performed in the order of presentation.

The phrase “in one embodiment” is utilized repeatedly. The phrase generally does not refer to the same embodiment, however, it may. The terms “comprising”, “having” and “including” are synonymous, unless the context dictates otherwise.

FIG. 1 illustrates a side perspective view of a spacing device 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. The spacing device is utilized to precisely space and mount tile that does not result in any sagging tiles utilized to mount tile relatively quicker and more accurately than other traditional spacing devices that allows a person tiling to finish a tiling project without waiting for tile to dry before tiling the remaining portions of a wall.

The spacing device 100 includes an elongated rectangular spacer 110. The elongated rectangular spacer 110 is made of plastic or synthetic material or wood material, although the elongated rectangular spacer 110 can be made of other suitable material as well. The elongated rectangular spacer 110 more specifically can also be made of relatively hard plastic material. The elongated rectangular spacer 110 can also be made of recycled relatively hard plastic material or recycled plastic material. The elongated rectangular spacer 110 is approximately 5 feet long, 1 inch wide and ¼ inch high, although the elongated rectangular spacer 110 can be other suitable dimensions.

The elongated rectangular spacer is a bridge instrument that can be specifically utilized as a spacing device in between rows of wall tile to keep the wall tile aligned in a straight orientation and distributes weight evenly as the wall is being tiled.

The person tiling can utilize the tile spacing device to level a first row of tile and then place the tile spacing device between the next row and lay the next row of tile on top. As the person tiling goes up a wall being tiled the person tiling can lay the tile faster keeping the tile level as the person tiling lays the tile. This will distribute the weight of the tile evenly and keep the tile from sagging as the tile is placed on the wall. The tile spacing device also keeps the grout joints the same all the way up the wall being tiled as well.

The tile spacing device is a bridge instrument that supports tile alignment and functions as a well-suited tool during tile construction. Made from recycled plastic materials, the tile spacing device offers a standard dimension of 5 inches in length, 1 inch in height and ¼ inch in width, to accommodate customary tile patterns during overlays. After an initial row of tile has been laid, a user can flush the tile spacing device against the foundation utilizing the tile spacing device as a template for assuring accurate measurement and tiling consistency throughout a resurfacing project. The tile spacing device can be advertised as an essential tool within professional and commercial consumer markets. The tile spacing device introduces a reusable device that ensures tiles remain in an evenly distributed position during resurfacing. The feature of a plastic, tile-specific gauging accessory offered in various sizes, affords contractors with a tile spacing device that simplifies the tile setting process.

While the present invention has been related in terms of the foregoing embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention is not limited to the embodiments described. The present invention can be practiced with modification and alteration within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. Thus, the description is to be regarded as illustrative instead of restrictive on the present invention.
