A water stopper structure for a washing sink contains a washing sink having a large diameter hole to receive a water seat; the water seat including a larger diameter cavity and a small diameter cavity having plural outlets and a guiding orifice, the larger diameter cavity including first outer threads to screw with a screwing ring so that the water seat is fixed in the large diameter hole, the small diameter cavity including second outer threads to screw with a tube; a filter cup having plural filtering apertures and a central aperture to fit a guide bolt such that a water stopper is fixed; a water stopper including a sealing rib and a seal section; the guide bolt including a head segment and a guiding post such that the water stopper is fixed between the head segment and the guiding post of the guide bolt and under the filter cup.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a water stopper structure, and more particularly to a water stopper structure for a washing sink which allows obtaining a double seal effect and a tight water stop.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional washing sink in the kitchen is used to wash vegetables or dishes, so the water sink includes a larger diameter hole defined on a bottom end thereof to receive a water seat. The water seat has a small diameter groove defined on a bottom end thereof, and the small diameter groove has a first outlet and an orifice defined on a bottom end thereof. The small diameter groove has first outer threads formed around an outer rim thereof to screw with a tube, and the water seat includes second outer threads arranged around an outer rim thereof to screw with a forcing ring so that the water seat is fixed in the larger diameter hole of the washing sink.

To store water in the washing sink, a water stopper is fixed in the small diameter groove of the water seat, and a filter cup is fitted into the water seat to filter food debris and residues, wherein the filter cup and the water stopper are connected together, and a guide bolt is insert through the water stopper and the filter cup so that the water stopper is connected with a bottom end of the filter cup, and the water stopper is made of plastic material and has a tilted face to match with a connecting surface of the small diameter groove and the water seat so as to stop water, and the filter cup is placed in the water seat to collect the food debris and residues.

Because the tilted face of the water stopper matches with an inner wall of the small diameter groove to stop water, so if the inner wall of the small diameter groove is not worked precisely or the tilted face of the water stopper can not match with the inner wall of the small diameter groove tightly, water will leak from the washing sink.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a water stopper structure for a washing sink which allows obtaining a double seal effect and a tight water stop.

Another primary object of the present invention is to provide a water stopper structure for a washing sink which prevents water stored in the washing sink from leak.

To obtain the above objectives, a water stopper structure for a washing sink provided by the present invention contains:

  • a washing sink having a large diameter hole defined on a bottom end thereof to receive a water seat;
  • the water seat including a larger diameter cavity defined on an upper side thereof and a small diameter cavity defined on a lower side thereof, the small diameter cavity having a plurality of outlets defined on a bottom end thereof and a guiding orifice defined on a central position thereof, the larger diameter cavity of the water seat including first outer threads formed around an outer rim thereof to screw with a screwing ring so that the water seat is fixed in the large diameter hole of the washing sink, and the small diameter cavity of the water seat including second outer threads formed around an outer rim thereof to screw with a tube;
  • a filter cup fitted into the larger diameter cavity of the water seat and having a plurality of filtering apertures defined on a peripheral wall of a lower side thereof and a central aperture formed on a central position of a bottom end thereof to fit a guide bolt such that a water stopper made of plastic martial is fixed;
  • a water stopper fixed under the filter cup and a diameter thereof being equal to that of the small diameter cavity, the water stopper including a sealing rib extending outward around an outer face of a lower side thereof and a seal section extending outward from an upper side of the outer face;
  • the guide bolt including a head segment and a guiding post such that the water stopper is fixed between the head segment and the guiding post of the guide bolt and under the filter cup.

The foregoing, as well as additional objects, features and advantages of the invention will be more readily apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the assembly of a water stopper structure for a washing sink according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the exploded components of the water stopper structure for the washing sink according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view showing the exploded components of the water stopper structure for the washing sink according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view showing the assembly of the water stopper structure for the washing sink according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention. Accordingly, as shown in FIGS. 1-4, the water stopper structure comprises a washing sink 10 having a large diameter hole 11 defined on a bottom end thereof to receive a water seat 20. The water seat 20 includes a larger diameter cavity 21 defined on an upper side thereof and a small diameter cavity 22 defined on a lower side thereof, the small diameter cavity 22 has a plurality of outlets 23 defined on a bottom end thereof and a guiding orifice 24 defined on a central position thereof. The guiding orifice 24 is circular, non-circular, or geometric. The larger diameter cavity 21 of the water seat 20 includes first outer threads 25 formed around an outer rim thereof, and the small diameter cavity 22 of the water seat 20 includes second outer threads 26 formed around an outer rim thereof. The first outer threads 25 of the larger diameter cavity 21 screw with a screwing ring 27 to fix the water seat 20 in the large diameter hole 11 of the washing sink 10. The second outer threads 26 of the small diameter cavity 22 screw with a tube 28. In addition, A filter cup 30 is fitted into the larger diameter cavity 21 of the water seat 20 and has a plurality of filtering apertures 31 defined on a peripheral wall of a lower side thereof and a central aperture 32 formed on a central position of a bottom end thereof to fit a guide bolt 50 comprised of a head segment 51 and a guiding post 52 such that a water stopper 40 made of plastic martial is fixed between the head segment 51 and the guiding post 52 of the guide bolt 50 and under the filter cup 30, wherein a diameter of the water stopper 40 is equal to that of the small diameter cavity 22, and a shape of the guiding post 52 matches with that of the guiding orifice 24 of the small diameter cavity 22. When the filter cup 30 is fitted into the larger diameter cavity 21 of the water seat 20, the water stopper 40 is fixed in the small diameter cavity 22, thereby assembling the water stopper structure.

To obtain a tight sealing effect, the water stopper 40 further includes a sealing rib 42 extending outward around an outer face 41 of a lower side thereof, and the sealing rib 42 has a flexible deformation rate and its outer diameter is equal to or larger than a diameter of the small diameter cavity 22, the water stopper 40 also includes a seal section 43 extending outward from an upper side of the outer face 41, a diameter of the seal section 43 is larger that that of the small diameter cavity 22, and a thickness of the seal section 43 is thin to obtain a deformable rate. When the filter cup 30 and the water stopper 40 are fitted into the water seat 20, the water stopper 40 is located in the small diameter cavity 22, yet due to the diameter of the seal section 43 is larger that that of the small diameter cavity 22, the seal section 43 covers on a connection of the small diameter cavity 22 and the larger diameter cavity 21, and the filter cup 30 is fixed in the larger diameter cavity 21 to collect food debris and residues in the washing sink 10 in a washing process, and the sealing rib 42 of the water stopper 40 contacts with an inner wall of the small diameter cavity 22 tightly, the seal section 43 covers the connection of the small diameter cavity 22 and the larger diameter cavity 21 tightly by ways of a water pressure, thus obtaining a double seal effect and a tight water stop.

While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been set forth for the purpose of disclosure, modifications of the disclosed embodiments of the invention as well as other embodiments thereof may occur to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to cover all embodiments which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A water stopper structure for a washing sink comprising:

a washing sink having a large diameter hole on a bottom end to receive a water seat;
a water seat comprising a larger diameter cavity on an upper side and a small diameter cavity on a lower side, wherein the small diameter cavity comprising a plurality of outlet on a bottom end and a guiding orifice on a central position, wherein the larger diameter cavity of the water seat comprising first outer threads formed around an outer rim to be fitted with a screwing ring so that the water seat is fixed in the large diameter hole of the washing sink, where in the small diameter cavity of the water seat comprising a second outer threads formed around an outer rim to be fitted with a tube;
a filter cup fitted into the larger diameter cavity of the water seat comprising a plurality of filtering apertures on a peripheral wall of a lower side and a central aperture formed on a central position of a bottom end to fit a guide bolt such that a water stopper made of plastic martial is fixed; wherein the guide bolt including a head segment and a guiding post such that the water stopper is fixed between the head segment and the guiding post of the guide bolt and under the filter cup; and
a water stopper fixed under the filter cup with a diameter being equal to that of the small diameter cavity, the said water stopper comprising a sealing rib extending outward around an outer face of a lower side and a seal section extending outward from an upper side of the outer face;

2. The water stopper structure for the washing sink as claimed in claim 1, wherein an outer diameter of the sealing rib is equal to a diameter of the small diameter cavity.

3. The water stopper structure for the washing sink as claimed in claim 1, wherein an outer diameter of the sealing rib is larger than a diameter of the small diameter cavity.

4. The water stopper structure for the washing sink as claimed in claim 1, wherein a shape of the guiding post matches with that of the guiding orifice of the small diameter cavity, and the guiding orifice is non-circular.

5. The water stopper structure for the washing sink as claimed in claim 1, wherein a shape of the guiding post matches with that of the guiding orifice of the small diameter cavity, and the guiding orifice is circular.
