Description
BACKGROUND

The present disclosure relates to a domestic textile product, and in particular, a domestic textile product with a top having a waterproofing structure.

Current domestic textile products having a waterproofing effect, such as a mattress, a mattress cover, a mattress jacket, a seat cushion, a seat cushion cover, or a sofa cover, have a top with a waterproofing structure consisting of five layers. A known structure, as shown in FIG. 1, includes three upper layers that are quilting layers, i.e., in sequence, a first cloth layer 1, a cotton-lined layer 2, and a second cloth layer 3, and two lower layers that are, in sequence, i.e., a base cloth layer 4 and a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethanes, thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer rubber) coated film layer 5. The TPU-coated film layer 5 made on the base cloth layer 4 and the quilting layers are fixed peripherally by sewing, overlock-stitching, or serging.

However, all of the above-mentioned structures and processes to make the structure are relatively complicated, with a large amount of materials used and a long production time.

Accordingly, there is a need for a domestic textile product having a waterproofing effect that is simple in structure and can be manufactured with lesser amounts of materials and in shorter manufacturing or production times.

SUMMARY

In order to address the above-noted drawbacks to known domestic textile products, a present domestic textile product having a top having a waterproofing structure includes four layers, with the upper three layers being, in sequence, a first cloth layer, a filling material layer, and a second cloth layer, and the lower layer being a waterproofing material layer laminated with the second cloth layer.

A domestic textile product with a top having a waterproofing structure can be a mattress, a mattress cover, a mattress jacket, a seat cushion, a seat cushion cover, or a sofa cover. The domestic textile product is characterized in that each layer of the waterproofing structure is fixed by a quilting structure.

The domestic textile product exhibits advantages over known products by directly laminating the top three layers with the waterproofing material layer, omitting a base cloth layer and is carried out using a process in which the coated film layer and the quilting layers are peripherally fixed.

These and other features and advantages of the present invention will be readily apparent from the following detailed description, in conjunction with the claims.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

The benefits and advantages of the present invention will become more readily apparent to those of ordinary skill in the relevant art after reviewing the following detailed description and accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 a structural schematic diagram of the top waterproofing structure of a current domestic textile product; and

FIG. 2 is a structural schematic diagram of the present domestic textile product.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

While the present device is susceptible of embodiment in various forms, there is shown in the drawings and will hereinafter be described one or more presently preferred embodiments with the understanding that the present disclosure is to be considered an exemplification of the device and is not intended to limit the disclosure to the specific embodiment or embodiments illustrated.

A domestic textile product embodying the principles of the present disclosure is illustrated in FIG. 2 and includes a top having a waterproofing structure. The top has a waterproofing structure that includes four layers, with the upper three layers being, in sequence, a first cloth layer 1, a filling material layer 20, and a second cloth layer 3 and the lower layer being a waterproofing layer 50 laminated with the second cloth layer 3. Each layer of the waterproofing structure is fixed by a quilting seam structure.

The domestic textile product can be a mattress, a mattress cover, a mattress jacket, a seat cushion, a seat cushion cover, or a sofa cover.

The filling material layer 20 can be sponge, in addition to lined cotton. The waterproofing material layer 50 can be PU, PVC, PE, or other thin waterproofing materials, in addition to a TPU-coated film layer.

The patterns of the quilting structure can be various patterns suitable for machine quilting, such as a diamond shape, a grid shape, or a strip shape.

All the above-mentioned are only the preferred embodiments of the present utility model, not used to limit the scope of implementation of the present utility model. Accordingly all equivalent changes and modifications made according to the present disclosure are within the scope of the present disclosure model.

The directional references of top, bottom, upper, lower and side are provided for reference only and are not intended to limit the disclosure in any way.

All patents referred to herein, are incorporated herein by reference, whether or not specifically done so within the text of this disclosure.

In the present disclosure, the words “a” or “an” are to be taken to include both the singular and the plural. Conversely, any reference to plural items shall, where appropriate, include the singular.

From the foregoing it will be observed that numerous modifications and variations can be effectuated without departing from the true spirit and scope of the novel concepts of the present disclosure. It is to be understood that no limitation with respect to the specific embodiments illustrated is intended or should be inferred. The disclosure is intended to cover by the appended claims all such modifications as fall within the scope of the claims.
