Bionic Resistance Suit

A resistance suit characterized by its compression short or pant; having multiple tension bands also known as resistance bands or bungee chords, attached on one side of the thigh region of the body, extending behind the body, and attached to the other side of the body horizontally, via D-rings or male and female clips, symmetrically. Attachment points are vertically sewn, one atop the other along the coronal plane or hamstring region of the body. D-rings or male and female clips attached to waist belt and compression pant or short via nylon or polyester, where transverse and coronal plane intersect. Connected through resistance bands, wrap around arm bands use Velcro to fasten.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE BIONIC RESISTANCE SUIT

The Bionic Resistance Suit 1 provides a wide range of resistance, upwards Of 200 lbs of pure resistance to lower extremities, and upwards of 100 lbs to upper extremities. The major differences between The Bionic Resistance Suit 1 and other resistance training apparatus is the unique marriage of gym level resistance and on the field training. Another unique feature is the pure resistance factor. The suit itself is not weighted, resistance is generated by the natural body motion of an individual, so there is no weighted pressure on the body. The implementation of horizontal tension/resistance bands 2, attached on one side of the outer thigh area (along coronal plane), extending and attached to the other side of the thigh area provides this dynamic. The copper infused (optional) compression material reduces the microbes built up from sweat and dirt, and compresses the muscles to improve circulation. The heat generated from the body is trapped by the fabric which also improves circulation and increases sweat, which helps in weight loss.

Specifications of the Bionic Resistance Suit

Materials:

Nylon thread, Neoprene or Cotton or Polyester (Or any material that can make shorts 1, copper (optional), nylon, D rings 3, male and female clips, bungee cords, tension/resistance bands 8 and 30 with carabiners or hooks 40, hard card board, plastic, hook and loop fastener 5A, 7a and 35.

Description:

LEGS (Lower Extremities}

Nylon ribbons or strips are sewn onto a Neoprene or Polyester or Cotton (Or any Fabric that can make compression shorts) (lined with polyester—Optional) compression short (pant), along the side of the mid outer thigh (the coronal plane) at an 80-100 degree angle with nylon thread. D rings 3 or male and female clips are sewn onto the nylon ribbons or strips 23 that are sewn onto the neoprene or polyester or cotton compression short (pant) with nylon thread. The short (pant) and nylon ribbons or strips 2, 5, 22 and 23 provide a strong base for the high amount of resistance (pressure) generated from the bungee cords Or Tension/Resistance bands 8. Horizontal wrap around nylon ribbons or strips containing hook and loop fastener (i.e. VELCRO) 5A at the open end help to adjust the tightness of the short (pant) to the body. Segmented card boards or hard plastic (2×6-8 inch strips) are sewn together with a fabric used as an insert to be used behind the thigh, inserted into pockets to reduce the pressure from the bungee cords Or Tension/Resistance bands (Optional). D rings 3 or male and female plastic clips are sewn onto the Nylon Or Cotton Or Leather (Or any material that can make a belt) belt 7 that wraps the waist and a belt closure 7A using hook and loop (VELCRO), along the side of the body above the initially sewn D rings 3 (where the coronal and transverse plane intersect); on the right and left side of the body. These attachment points serve as the anchor for the arm restraints (optional).

CONCLUSION

This includes any fabric compression short (pant) with tension/resistance bands 8 and 30 attached along the coronal plane; extending from one side of the outer mid-thigh area to the other side horizontally; along the coronal plane of the body. An adjustment portion 5A uses hook and loop connector to adjust strap 5A.

Arms (Upper Extremities)

Wrap around fabric 20 with Velcro 35 on the open end to adjust and tighten. A D-ring 25 or male and female plastic clip is fastened to the position of the inner arm to connect tension/resistance bands 30 to waist using carabiner or hook 40.

Claims

1) I claim that the base of the resistance suit is a compression short or pants 1 made of neoprene or spandex or cotton or polyester or any material that can make athletic compression shorts or pants.

2) I claim that the compression shorts or pants recited in claim 1 wherein said description has multiple attachment points, d-rings 3 or male and female clips 3a sewn to it vertically, one atop another, along the coronal plain of the thigh region or the hamstring region on the left and right side of the body.

3. I claim that the attachment points recited in claim 2 wherein said description are secured by nylon or polyester or any strong thread. The nylon or other thread also reinforces the suit to withstand high amounts of pressure.

4) I claim that the attachment points recited in claim 2 wherein said description are anchors for tension chords 8 also known as tension bands or resistance bands or bungee chords. The tension bands are secured to D-rings 3 by hooks or carabiners 7 or male and female clips 3A recited in claim 2; extending from one side of the thigh region or hamstring region of the body, behind the body; and are secured to the attachment points 3/3A on the other side of the body, symmetrically.

5) I claim that the compression short or pant recited in claim 1 wherein said description has fabric 6 sewn to the hamstring region, back bottom of the suit, covering the tension chords 8 for safety and aesthetics.

6) I claim that the sewn fabric 6, covering the bands recited in claim 5 wherein said description form a pocket. A segmented hard plastic or hard card board 9 is inserted into each pocket to absorb the force of the tension chords 8 on the hamstring region of the body.

7) I claim that the compression short or pant recited in claim 1 wherein said description has a nylon or polyester or cotton or fabric belt 5 wrapping the waist, utilizing Velcro 5A to fasten the belt.

8) I claim that the compression short or pant recited in claim 1 wherein said description has attachment points; D-rings 3 or male and female clips 3A attached with nylon or polyester or cotton or fabric 2 at the intersection of the transverse plane and coronal plane of the body.

9) I claim that the attachment points 3/3A recited in claim 8 wherein said description is attached to arm restraints on right and left side of the suit via tension bands 8.

10) I claim that the arm restraints recited in claim 9 wherein said description are comprised of fabric 1, reinforced by nylon or polyester 2, and fastened utilizing Velcro in FIG. 4.

11) I claim that the compression short or pant recited in claim 1 wherein said description has a zipper 4 attached to the mid pelvic region for easier accessibility.
