An embodiment of the disclosure provides a foldable seat, and the foldable seat includes a cushion unit 101, a backrest unit 201 and a gear adjustment unit 301.

As shown in FIG. 1, the cushion unit 101 is horizontally arranged, and a bottom portion of the cushion unit 101 is connected with a bench, a grandstand seat and other structures, so as to improve comfort. It can be understood that, in order to facilitate connection of the bottom portion of the cushion unit 101 with various solid structures, the bottom portion of the cushion unit 101 is not provided with a supporting leg, which avoids the supporting leg from occupying a large space after a volume of the foldable seat is contracted and being not beneficial for carrying.

In some examples, the cushion unit 101 includes a frame structure, a middle portion of the frame structure is provided with a cross beam 102 for reinforcing the cushion unit 101, thus improving the stability in structure. The cross beam 102 can also play a supporting role for buttocks of a user.

The backrest unit 201 is configured for supporting the back of a user, the backrest unit 201 includes at least two connecting rods for connecting with the cushion unit 101. It can be understood that each connecting rod is configured for supporting the back of the user. The connecting rods need to have approximately the same movement relative to the cushion unit 101, so as to finish folding. Therefore, the connecting rods are connected with each other to form a whole. Specifically, each connecting rod includes a first rotating rod 202 and a second rotating rod 203. The first rotating rod 202 is rotatably connected with the second rotating rod 203, the first rotating rod 202 is fixedly connected with the cushion unit 101, and a backrest beam is arranged on the second rotating rod 203, so that the movement consistency between the second rotating rods 203 is ensured.

In some examples, the first rotating rod 202 has a certain length, which means that there is a certain distance between a position where the first rotating rod 202 is ratably connected with the second rotating rod 203 and the cushion unit 101. When a seat pack is arranged on cushion unit 101, the second rotating rod 203 is still capable of rotating to be in a state approximately parallel to the cushion unit 101 to contract the volume of the foldable seat as much as possible, thus facilitating carrying. Specifically, the length of the first rotating rod 202 is set according to a thickness of the seat pack to be set.

In some examples, the connecting rod forms an angle with the cushion unit 101, which means that the first rotating rod 202 forms an angle with the cushion unit 101. When the second rotating rod 203 is located in an extreme position, the first rotating rod 202 is approximately parallel with the second rotating rod 203. In this case, the second rotating rod 203 also forms an angle with the cushion unit 101. Specifically, the angle between the connecting rod and the cushion unit 101 is set according to usage habit of the user, to ensure the comfort of the foldable seat.

In some examples, in order to further ensure the relative position stability between the connecting rod and the cushion unit 101, a plurality of positioning rods 204 are arranged on the cushion unit 101, and a number of the positioning rods 204 corresponds to a number of the connecting rods. One end of the positioning rod 204 is connected to the cushion unit 101, and the other end of the positioning rod is connected with the first rotating rod 202, thus forming a stable connection structure.

As shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 3, rotary connection between the first rotating rod 202 and the second rotating rod 203 is realized by the gear adjustment unit 301. The gear adjustment unit 301 can position the second rotating rod 203 at different angles under a condition of ensuring the rotary connection, so as to realize multi-rotation-gear adjustment. It can be understood that the first end of the first rotating rod 202 is connected with the cushion unit 101, and the gear adjustment unit 301 is arranged at a joint between the second end of the first rotating rod 202 and the end portion of the second rotating rod 203.

Further, the gear adjustment unit 301 includes gear teeth 302, a turntable 303 and a clamping structure 304. The second end of the first rotating rod 202 is provided with a first hinge shaft 305, and the end portion of the second rotating rod 203 is arranged on the first hinge shaft 305. Since the first rotating rod 202 has a fixed position, the second rotating rod 203 is capable of rotating around the first hinge shaft 305.

A plurality of gear teeth 302 are arranged at the end portion of the second rotating rod 203, and the end portion of the second rotating rod 203 is arranged in an arc shape, which means that the gear teeth 302 are distributed in an arc shape. Meanwhile, the clamping structure 304 is arranged on the first rotating rod 202, the clamping structure 304 is capable of rotating on the first rotating rod 202, and a clamping groove 306 is arranged on the clamping structure 304. It can be understood that the clamping groove 306 is configured to be engaged with the gear tooth 302. Specifically, the clamping structure 304 includes an arc-shaped extension portion, an end portion of the arc-shaped extension portion is oriented to the first hinge shaft 305, and the clamping groove 306 is arranged at the end portion of the arc-shaped extension portion. When the clamping groove 306 is engaged with the gear tooth 302, the second rotating rod 203 is capable of rotating unidirectionally, so that the currently engaged gear tooth 302 pushes the clamping structure 304 to rotate in a small range. During rotation of the clamping structure 304, the currently engaged gear tooth 302 is gradually separated from the clamping groove 306, and the clamping structure 304 always tends to rotate towards the first hinge shaft 305, so that the adjacent gear tooth 302 is clamped into the clamping groove 306. At the moment, the angle between the first rotating rod 202 and the second rotating rod 203 is changed, thereby finishing gear adjustment once. It can be understood that, under a condition that the gear tooth 302 is engaged, when the first rotating rod 202 rotates in an opposite direction, the clamping structure 304 locks the currently engaged gear tooth 302 due to the limitation of the arc-shaped extension portion of the clamping structure 304. That is, when the user leans the back against the backrest, the second rotating rod 203 tends to rotate in an opposite direction, but the angle between the second rotating rod 203 and the cushion unit 101 remains unchanged as the clamping structure 304 clamps the currently engaged gear tooth 302, so that the foldable seat is maintained at a current gear, thereby ensuring the effectiveness of gear adjustment.

The turntable 303 is arranged on the first hinge shaft 305, and the turntable 303 is capable of rotating on the first hinge shaft 305, and the turntable 303 is configured for resetting the second rotating rod 203, so as to readjust the gear of the foldable seat. Further, the turntable 303 is capable of pushing the clamping structure 304, so that the clamping structure 304 is separated from the gear tooth 302, so as to enable the second rotating rod 203 to freely rotate relative to the first rotating rod 202. In this way, the second rotating rod 203 can be reset, or a storage operation of the foldable seat is finished.

As shown in FIG. 3, in some examples, the turntable 303 includes a first abutting portion 401, a second abutting portion 402 and a concave portion 403. A stop rod 404 is arranged on the second rotating rod 203, and the stop rod 404 is located in a range of the concave portion 403. During rotation of the second rotating rod 203, the stop rod 404 abuts against an edge of the concave portion 403, thus driving the turntable 303 to rotate, so that the parts of the turntable 303 cooperates with the gear tooth 302 and the clamping structure 304 to finish gear adjustment and reset.

A distance between the first abutting portion 401 and the first hinge shaft 305 is not less than a distance between a crest of the gear tooth 302 and the first hinge shaft 305, which means that the first abutting portion 401 is capable of pushing the clamping structure 304 to rotate, so as to be separated from the gear tooth 302. A distance between the second abutting portion 402 and the first hinge shaft 305 is not greater than a distance between a root of the gear teeth 302 and the first hinge shaft 305, which avoids the second abutting portion 402 from affecting engagement between the clamping structure 304 and the gear teeth 302. The concave portion 403 is arranged between the first abutting portion 401 and the second abutting portion 402, the first abutting portion 401 forms a first edge of the concave portion 403, and the second abutting portion 402 forms a second edge of the concave portion 403.

When the second rotating rod 203 is located in an extreme position, the second rotating rod 203 is approximately parallel to the first rotating rod 202, and the gear tooth 302 corresponding to the clamping groove 306 protrudes from the second abutting portion 402. At the moment, the clamping structure 304 is engaged with the gear tooth 302 in the corresponding position, the second rotating rod 203 is located at an extreme gear, and the stop rod 404 does not work. When the second rotating rod 203 rotates, the clamping structure 304 can be engaged with the adjacent gear tooth 302, and the second rotating rod 203 is located at a first angular gear. When the second rotating rod 203 continuously rotates, the clamping structure 304 can be continuously engaged with the next adjacent gear tooth 302, and the second rotating rod 203 is located at a second angular gear. In this way, the gear adjustment is carried out in sequence until the stop rod 404 abuts against the first edge of the concave portion 403. The second rotating rod 203 continuously rotates, the gear tooth 302 corresponding to the clamping groove 306 is hidden in the first abutting portion 401, and the clamping structure 304 is pushed away from the gear tooth 302. At the moment, the second rotating rod 203 can be folded to be approximately parallel to the cushion unit 101, or the second rotating rod 203 rotates in an opposite direction to realize gear reset.

Specifically, during gear reset, the stop rod 404 gradually abuts against the second edge of the concave portion 403 and pushes the turntable 303 to rotate together. When the second rotating rod 203 rotates to the extreme position, the first abutting portion 401 is separated from the clamping structure 304, and the clamping groove 306 is engaged with the gear tooth 302 corresponding to the extreme position, so as to finish the gear reset. It can be understood that the number of gears is determined by the specific length between the first abutting portion 401 and the second abutting portion 402.

In some examples, the second end of the first rotating rod 202 is hollow, and the clamping structure 304, the turntable 303 and the end portion of the second rotating rod 203 are all arranged inside the second end of the first rotating rod 202, which avoids the gear adjustment unit 301 from being exposed and prevents operation of the gear adjustment unit 301 from being interfered with by an external structure.

In some examples, a second hinge shaft 405 is arranged on the first rotating rod 202, and the clamping structure 304 is arranged on the second hinge shaft 405. It can be understood that the second hinge shaft 405 is also located inside the second end of the first rotating rod 202. The clamping structure 304 is capable of rotating around the second hinge shaft 405. Since the clamping structure 304 needs to always tend to rotate towards the first hinge shaft 305, so as to ensure that the clamping groove 306 of the clamping structure 304 can be automatically engaged with the corresponding gear tooth 302 when the gear tooth 302 is exposed outside the turntable 303, a torsion spring is arranged on the second hinge shaft 405, and the torsion spring is connected with the clamping structure 304.

In some examples, the foldable seat further includes an armrest unit 501, and when the foldable seat is folded and stored, the armrest unit 501 can also be folded, thus further contracting the volume of the foldable seat. Specifically, the armrest unit 501 includes a third rotating rod 502 and a fourth rotating rod 503, a first end of the third rotating rod 502 is connected with the cushion unit 101, and a second end of the third rotating rod 502 is hinged with the fourth rotating rod 503. During storage, the fourth rotating rod 503 rotates first towards the cushion unit 101, and then the second rotating rod 203 rotates, so that the fourth rotating rod 503 is located between the backrest unit 201 and the cushion unit 101.

The third rotating rod 502 has a certain length, which means that, when the fourth rotating rod 503 rotates to be approximately parallel to the cushion unit 101, there is still a certain distance between the fourth rotating rod 503 and the cushion unit 101, which is convenient for arranging the seat pack on the cushion unit 101.

In some examples, the foldable seat further includes a seat cover, and the seat cover covers the foldable seat. On one hand, the seat cover can protect all solid structures of the foldable seat, and provide a certain buffer for collision with an external object; and on the other hand, it is convenient for adding a soft structure between the seat cover and the foldable seat, thus improving comfort of the user.

Further, the seat cover is detachably connected with the foldable seat, a zipper is arranged on the seat cover, and the seat cover covers the foldable seat through an opening formed by the zipper.

In some examples, a seat pack and a backrest pack are arranged in the seat cover, the seat pack is arranged on the cushion unit 101, and the backrest pack is arranged on the backrest unit 201. In order to ensure position stability of the seat pack, the seat pack is connected to the cross beam 102.

In the descriptions of the specification, the descriptions with reference to the terms “one embodiment”, “some instances”, “some embodiments”, “illustrative embodiment”, “example”, “specific example” or “some examples”, etc., refer to that specific features, structures, materials, or characteristics described with reference to the embodiments or examples are included in at least one embodiment or example of the disclosure. In the specification, the schematic representation of the above terms does not necessarily mean the same embodiment or example. Moreover, the specific features, structures, materials or characteristics described may be combined in any one or more embodiments or examples in a suitable manner.

The embodiments of the disclosure are described in detail with reference to the drawings above, but the disclosure is not limited to the above embodiments, and various changes may also be made within the knowledge scope of those of ordinary skills in the art without departing from the purpose of the disclosure.
