  • Patent number: 4139987
Abstract: A load responsive fluid power control system using servo type flow control valves and fluid motors supplied by a variable displacement pump. The pump displacement is regulated by an electro-hydraulic control valve in response to an electrical signal proportional to motor load or motor load pressure to vary the pump displacement to maintain a controlled constant or variable pressure differential between the pump outlet pressure and motor load pressure or to vary the pressure differential between pump outlet pressure and motor load pressure in response to a signal from a computing device. The pump control also limits maximum and minimum system pressures.
