Abstract: A new and distinct grapevine variety that possesses large, white, seedless berries having a desirable, distinctive, muscat flavor; crisp, juicy flesh; and tender skin.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Impatiens plant, and named ‘Fify Lav’ is provided. ‘Fify Lav’ is distinct in its lavender flower color, small slightly cup shaped flowers, early flowering and small-leafed basal branching growth habit.
Abstract: A distinct cultivar of Kalanchoe plant named ‘Katharina’, characterized by its numerous large salmon-colored flowers; upright and compact plant habit; small dark green crenate leaves; and good postproduction longevity.
Abstract: A distinct cultivar of Kalanchoe plant named ‘Rosemary’, characterized by its numerous large light pink to white flowers with rose pink-colored centers; upright plant habit; small dark green crenate leaves; and good postproduction longevity.
Abstract: A distinct cultivar of Delphinium plant named ‘West End Blue’, characterized by its upright plant habit; dark green leaf color; bright blue flower color; and freely flowering with numerous flowers per stem.
Abstract: The claimed cultivar brings a new color to the Trumpet series of Petunias and is characterized by a large purple rose colored flower accented in its center with a large and distinctive yellow-white circular center, over medium green foliage. As with all Trumpet Petunias, this cultivar exhibits early flowering with superior branching so that the plant may also be used in a hanging pot.
Abstract: A distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named ‘Allison’, characterized by its uniformly mounded plant habit; decorative-type inflorescences that are about 5.1 cm in diameter; attractive white ray florets; and numerous inflorescences per plant.
Abstract: A distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named ‘Empire Concerto’, characterized by its uniformly mounded plant habit; very uniform flowering; decorative-type inflorescences that are about 5.4 cm in diameter; attractive light pink ray florets; and numerous inflorescences per plant.
Abstract: Symmetrical, modular blocks each having a plurality of fixed, equally spaced, gauging elements, namely loopers, needles, and reeds protruding therefrom, the blocks are positioned on the sides of the guide bars of a tufting machine, each guide bar having transverse channels at equally spaced intervals. These channels respectively receive guide bars of the blocks when the blocks are removably positioned on the sides of the guide bar. Bolts or screws secure the blocks in place on their guide bars so that their needles, loopers, and reeds are appropriately gauged and positioned for tufting action, protruding toward the tufting zone.
Abstract: During production of hydrocarbons, an oil-gas flow from a well bottom to a well-head is subdivided into a plurality of individual oil-gas flows which flow in a plurality of individual passages located side-by-side with one another.
Abstract: A needle protection safety package, instead of being enclosed in a pouch or other containment wrappings, has fitted thereto at respective ends thereof caps or sheaths so that both the needle and the end to which a syringe is adapted to mate remain enclosed and sterile. Such an arrangement enables easy transport of the safety needle package and provides convenience for the user at the same time. The safety package is further designed to prevent burring of the tip of the needle as the cap or sheath is removed from the needle portion of the package. The safety device of the safety package incorporates a locking mechanism which prevents contact between the needle and the housing as the housing is pivoted to envelop the needle after use.
Abstract: A rifle sling support apparatus including an elongated belt securement strap having a base end, a tip end, and a securement mechanism affixed to the ends for securing the strap in a closed loop configuration about a belt fastened about a user's waist; a hook having an upper end, a lower end, a bend therebetween, and a pair of opposed cutouts formed on the bend and with each cutout sized for receiving a pistol grip or a stock of a rifle; and a hook angle adjustment mechanism secured between the belt securement strap and hook for adjusting the angular position of the hook with respect to the belt securement strap.
Abstract: A recording and reproducing system for digitizing the image signal and compression coding the signal by in-field and inter-field, or in-frame and inter-frame coding, wherein the inter-field or inter-frame coding is used as the primary coding method, in field or in-frame coding is applied at a regular interval, and when scene changes are detected, in-field or in-frame coding is mandatorily applied to the field or frame immediately after the scene change. Furthermore, a new in-field or in-frame coding cycle is started at the field or frame immediately after the scene change to absorb the increased information resulting from in-field or in-frame coding by increasing the compression ratio of the inter-field or inter-frame coding means within the period to the next in-field or in-frame coded field or frame.

Abstract: There is disclosed herein a step lighting fixture including an extrusion having a single channel for receiving a light directing member which directs light from a single lighting string both upwardly and downwardly with respect to a stair edge or stair nose. This enables the edge of a stair and the riser thereof or next lower step to be readily seen by one either descending or ascending the stair or stairway. The light directing member can include a pair of reflectors for reflecting light upwardly and downwardly. Alternatively, it can include a single reflector for reflecting light upwardly, and another section, either clear, segmented or both clear and segmented, for directing light downwardly.
Abstract: The secondarily contained piping system having two spaced access chambers that are interconnected by a secondary containment pipe to provide a sealed arrangement for a flexible fluid supply pipe, the ends of which are disposed within the access chambers. The outer flexible pipe is sized to permit the insertion and/or removal of the primary flexible pipe during installation and testing of the same and after backfilling of the trench within which the pipe is disposed, the outer flexible tubing partially collapses to engage and prevent relative movement between the two pipes while providing a flow path thereinbetween.
Abstract: A process and a system for the continuous manufacture of polymeric foams. Reactive chemical components and additives comprising a low boiling blowing agent are mixed under pressure; the mixture is then frothed before chemical reaction takes place by feeding the mixture through a pressure equalizing and frothing device having a pressure-drop zone opening into a frothing cavity having an output aperture to discharge the froth onto a moving substrate.
