  • Patent number: 6205588
Abstract: An improved golf glove tee holder holds tees in an orientation that is lateral relative to the major axis of the glove, i.e. through the finger tips and the cuff. This lateral orientation, along with strategic location on the back of the golf glove between the closure flap and the finger region, ensures that the golfer's wrist and knuckle joints may be fully flexed in all directions with no possibility of potential distraction, discomfort or risk of injury from the tees such as can occur with longitudinal tee orientation of conventional golf glove tee holders. The lateral orientation of the present improved tee holder is also more ergonomic: selecting and pulling out the tee is more natural and comfortable than with conventional longitudinal tee orientation. As an optional feature, a ball marker may be provided, removably attached to the closure flap of the golf glove with a snap type fastener.

  • Patent number: 6205610
Abstract: A tool (1) for spreading adhesive over a substrate has a blade edge (4) with a set of spaced large indentations (5) and at least one set of spaced smaller indentations (6) extending into the blade edge. The smaller indentations extend into the blade less than any one of the large indentations and are interspaced between the large indentations. The blade edge is slid over the substrate to which adhesive has been applied and the adhesive is spread such that the large indentations form large ridges (20) of adhesive projecting from the substrate. The smaller indentations form smaller ridges (21) of adhesive projecting from the substrate and the smaller ridges (21) are interspaced between the large ridges (20). When a tile (23) is pressed into the adhesive the larger ridges (20) are compressed first, thereby broadening the ridge and pushing adjacent ridges into the smaller ridges (21). In this any void between ridges is more readily filled and a more uniform spread of keyed in adhesive is achieved.

  • Patent number: 6205619
Abstract: In a hinge device, right-hand spiral cams formed on a lower portion of a rotational shaft are engaged with right-hand spiral guides grooves, and left-hand inclinated guide protrusions are engaged with left-hand spiral guide grooves formed on an outer circumference of an elevating pipe. When the elevating pipe moves upwardly or downwardly, the load produced by hydraulic pressure can be applied uniformly to the shaft. Therefore, it is improbable to break out or cut out the spiral cam formed on the shaft, the spiral guide grooves on the elevating pipe and the guide protrusion on the stationary pipe. As a result, the hinge device has a relatively long life-time. Also, the hinge device can reduce or prevent damage in respect of life and property.

  • Patent number: 6205625
Abstract: A weld stud comprises a leg portion having a root that is adapted to be welded to a workpiece and a resilient engagement pawl portion integrally formed at least on one side of the leg portion. The resilient engagement pawl portion extends diagonally outwardly from the end of the leg portion toward the root and is capable of bending radially inwardly with respect to the leg portion. On the outside of a lower end portion of the leg portion, an engagement step which is an inward recess formed like a step is provided. Although it is not always necessary to make the weld stud from synthetic resin, it is preferable that the entire weld stud is made of synthetic resin and is molded as a one-piece article since its use is predominantly for synthetic resin members.

  • Patent number: 6205626
Abstract: By fusing reinforcing tapes with bottom end attaching portions of fastener tapes by pressurizing heating means with different pressures (i.e., high and low), thus weakening of attaching portions can be prevented. Core threads are fitted to side edges of fastener tapes to form core portions. Reinforcing tapes formed of thermoplastic elastomer film or thermoplastic resin film are fused to wrap tape end portions including the core portions so as to form the bottom end attaching portions. The reinforcing tapes fused the core portions and vicinity portions to the fastener tapes with a low pressure and at tape main body portions to the fastener tapes with a high pressure, thereby making the core portions and the vicinity portions flexible and thick and making the tape main body portions stiff and thin to form stepped portions. The stepped portions are positioned outside flanges of a slider.
