Abstract: The Style-N-Sleeve is designed to alleviate the saturation of clothing by potentially harmful pathogens such as lice, ringworms, scabies, hair particles, dandruff, etc. It is also designed to keep these pathogens out of direct contact with the skin of the stylists. In doing so, the sleeve is constructed of a light thin breathable material that is either worn over clothing or the bare arm. The texture of this material is semi-water repellant and very smooth allowing hair particles and these pathogens to easily slide off. Without the clothing being saturated with these pathogens, the invention assists in the improvement of the overall hygiene of the stylists and the sanitation of the profession.

Abstract: A back cleaning device having two shells, one inner and one outer with a soap solution bladder affixed between the respective shells. The bladder holds a liquefied soap solution that may be dispersed from an upper dispersal nozzle. The inner shell contains mounting brackets that allow it to be engaged to separate height locations on at least one separate rail that may be affixed to a wall in a shower or bath. The outer shell will include at least one scrub pad engaged to an outer surface. The person needing a back cleaning will lean her back against the scrub pad pushing the outer shell towards the inner shell compressing the bladder. The person will move their back up and down against the scrub pad. This bladder compression forces soap solution out of the upper dispersal nozzle. The soap solution runs over the scrub pad, soaping the scrub pad. The person needing the cleaning has their back cleaned due to the up and down movement against the soaped scrub pad.

Abstract: A part is manufactured from a composite material containing an aluminum alloy as a metal matrix. Blanks are prepared from a billet of the composite material, and worked on in a press, while they are held at a temperature ranging from the solidus temperature, Ta, of the aluminum alloy minus 50 (Ta−50) deg. C to Ta deg. C. At a temperature below (Ta−50), the blanks have too high a resistance to plastic deformation to be easily worked on. At a temperature over Ta, a liquid phase is produced and makes the blanks likely to crack easily during plastic deformation.

Abstract: A rear vehicle frame is formed by placing a plurality of sheet members in a die in a press. At least some of the sheet members partially overlap other of the members. The press is then closed, thereby interlocking the members to form a rear vehicle frame having first and second siderails and at least one crossmember extending between the siderails. The method may include other steps and/or features. After the step of forming a rear vehicle frame, the respective rear siderails may be attached to first and second front siderails. The first and second siderails may overlap a portion of the first and second front rails, at least one of the first and second front rails comprising a scallop at the overlapped portion. The front siderails may each have an upper front siderail and a lower front side rail. There may be a step in between the center siderails and the lower front siderails. At least one of the upper front siderails has a scallop at one edge.

Abstract: Disclose herein is a method for mounting a load sensing proportioning valve assembly of an automobile. The method includes the step of securing the crank member of the assembly to a side of a rotating shaft, which rotatably attaches the crank member to the proportioning valve of the assembly, using a first connecting member having a first rotating direction. Thereafter, a rod, which is connected to the rear axle housing of the automobile, is connected to the crank member through a slit formed in the crank member using a second connecting member having a second rotating direction. Finally, the first connecting member is removed so as to allow the crank member to be rotated.

Abstract: A substrate manufacturing plant comprising a plurality of minimum footprint skinned lines and methods relating to same. Specifically, a plant comprising a plurality of lines each line capable of accomplishing one step of a manufacturing process; the lines arranged in the order of their respective manufacturing steps so as to minimize the time necessary to process a work piece through all the lines; at least one line enclosed in its own environmental enclosure. By utilizing enclosures having the minimum size necessary to enclose and operate a single line or machine and arranging those enclosures in a linear fashion, parts progress linearly through the modules from start to finish without having to pass through a particular module more than once during processing. Because the size required to house a single machine is much smaller than a room designed to house multiple machines and people, control of the environment within the modules is relatively easy and cheap to accomplish.

Abstract: A single piece head gimbal assembly comprised of a load beam, a pair of flexure arms, a slider support member and a plurality of electrical lines. The head gimbal assembly is formed from a laminated material comprised of a support layer, a dielectric layer and a high strength electrically conductive layer. The electrical lines are formed in the high strength electrically conductive layer and extend along the backside of the load beam. The backside surface of a slider is accessible through an aperture formed between the flexure arms and the electrical lines are terminated to the backside of the slider. Alternatively, the electrical lines extend along the backside or frontside of the load beam and are terminated to the trailing edge of the slider.

Abstract: The present invention aims to implement a pair of gradient coils low in magnetizing force with respect to pole pieces. Upon manufacturing a pair of gradient coils each of which produces gradient magnetic fields by currents that flow through a plurality of concentric passes, the maximum radius of one of current passes for the gradient coil is set as the minimum value at which a gradient magnetic field having a magnetic field error within a predetermined allowable range can be produced.

Abstract: In a component placement machine, a placement head (4) is driven by a linear motor (5). The stationary part (7) of the motor is attached to the machine frame (1) on which a PCB (8) is attached. The movable part (6) of the motor is connected to a slide (2) on which the placement head (4) is attached. During driving the placement head, reactive forces of the motor generate vibrations in the stationary part (7) of the motor and thus in the machine frame (20). This causes inaccuracies during the placement of components (9) on the PCB (8). To diminish this problem, the reactive forces are intercepted in a separate force frame (10) which is dynamically disconnected from the machine frame (1).
