Abstract: A fuel vapor treating apparatus includes a lower valve casing and an upper valve casing. A float is provided in the lower valve casing and a valve portion is provided in the float for sealing the flow of fuel. A valve port is provided between the lower valve casing and the upper valve casing and is opened and closed by the valve portion. A vent passage portion is provided in the upper valve casing. A space portion is provided between the vent passage portion and the valve port. A valve portion of the float moves vertically in accordance with a liquid level in a fuel tank and opens and closes the valve port, whereby the fuel tank is brought into communication with the vent passage portion. A vent port is provided in a partition that separates the space portion from the vent passage portion. And, a second float is provided to open and close the vent port. The fuel vapor treating apparatus reliably stops fuel leakage from the fuel tank.

Abstract: A method for applying fluids to a strand and useable for bonding adhesive coated strands to substrates in the production of bodily fluid absorbing hygienic articles, by drawing the strand along an isolated path, moving a fluid or adhesive fiber back and forth across a path of the strand as the fluid fiber is dispensed toward the strand, and capturing substantially all of the fluid fiber on the isolated strand, and in some applications contacting an adhesive coated strand with the substrate to bond the strand thereto. The adhesive fiber is vacillated back and forth across a path of the strand beyond opposing sides thereof to at least partially coat all sides thereof with adhesive. In bodily fluid absorbing hygienic articles, the methods substantially eliminate fabric stiffening and loss of moisture absorbing capacity thereof, provide substantially uniformly bonding along the axial dimension of the strand to ensure uniform bunching of fabrics, optimum fluid absorption, and comfort.

Abstract: A sure and efficient manufacturing method of a translucent type screen using micro glass beadsis probided. A carbon toner is scattered onto micro glass beads which are buried and fixed in a UV curable resin layer, and the carbon toner is uniformly filled in the gaps between the micro glass beads by a rotating brush or a press roll or the like. The supply and filling of the carbon toner may be simultaneously performed by an air jet nozzle. Subsequently, an extra fine fiber cloth, sticky tape, sticky roll or the like is continuously brought into contact with the upper surface of the carbon toner to remove the carbon toner at the light emission portion of the micro glass beads.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for fixing a part and a part support for mounting the part by use of adhesive via an intermediate member are disclosed. The adhesive is implemented by photocuring adhesive while the intermediate member is formed of a material transparent for light. The intermediate member is free from coloring and deformation when illuminated by light for curing the adhesive. The adhesive is prevented from dropping or turning round to other portions during assembly.

Abstract: A method for producing a re-releasable bond between two wafers which is stable at high temperatures and mechanically stable is described. The two wafers to be bonded are placed one on top of the other in such a way that a surface of the first wafer is disposed on a surface of the second wafer. Interspaces at least partially connecting the surfaces are created between the wafers. A liquid glass compound is introduced into the interspaces in such a way that a liquid glass film wetting the inner surfaces of the interspaces is formed, in which process voids that are connected to the atmosphere surrounding the wafers remain inside the interspaces wetted with the liquid glass compound. To transform the wetting liquid glass film into a solid silicon dioxide film, the wafers lying one on top of the other are subjected to a temperature treatment.

Then, a part of the composite is removed to form a cavity having a bottom face defined by the release layer. This method facilitates production of multilayer ceramic boards with cavities having high planarity.

Abstract: While maintaining transferability of a subject to be processed, plasma is made uniform. The plasma processor comprises a member for generating plasma and a member for controlling axial symmetry of the generated plasma. The axial symmetry control member comprises pin conductors movable in Z direction and an insert type gate valve. By approaching the pin conductor to the insert type gate valve and by arranging the pin conductors along an inside shape of the insert gate valve, even in the portion of the insert gate valve, an electric current can be flowed similarly with the portion of the chamber wall. Thereby, current flow can be made uniform.

Abstract: The invention relates to a laminating apparatus for sealing or sealing in flat material with the aid of at least one plastic laminating film coated with an adhesive. The laminating apparatus includes a laminating unit and a deposition unit. Lamination is performed as the material passes through a laminating unit, which has at least one pair of rolls with transport rolls driven in opposite senses in the pass direction. To obtain laminates free from curvature, the invention proposes that the transport rolls of the at least one pair of rolls are arranged in pairs at the same height and delimit a nip which can be supplied in a vertically downward pass direction, and in that the deposition unit is arranged underneath the laminating unit.
