Abstract: The combination of a headnet and a jacket consisting of open mesh material to protect a wearer from insects. The headnet has a head receiving compartment with an open bottom. The headnet has a lower skirt portion normally extending downwardly from the head of the wearer. A jacket has a body portion, two arm portions, and a closable neck portion normally having a horizontal cross section slightly greater than the neck of a wearer, but less than a horizontal cross section of the skirt portion, whereupon when the closable neck portion is closed around and over the skirt portion in overlapping condition, the skirt portion will be compressed towards the neck of the wearer to inhibit the passage of insects between the overlapping condition of the headnet and the neck portion of the jacket.

An imaginary line 6 connecting the top portion 5A and the bottom portion 5B of the slit 5 does not coincide with the longitudinal axis 7 of the back region 3 of the glove body 2, but is inclined to cause the top portion 5A of the slit to be close to a little-finger portion 8 of the back region 3, and the bottom portion 5B of the slit to be close to an index-finger portion 9 of the back region 3, thereby forming the slit 5 so as to inclinedly elongate.

Abstract: The invention relates to a wave pool wherein a portion of the floor and/or beach is provided with a grated section. With the grated section extending along the beach, the grates will allow water to pass into a cavity, wherein backflows are eliminated and rip currents are avoided. With the grated section extending along the floor, the grated section is able to change the effective depth of the pool floor at that location, thereby altering the wave formation characteristics. One or more channels can be provided to circulate water away from the cavity toward the other end of the pool, which helps keep the pool in substantial equilibrium.

Abstract: A hand of an auto handler comprises a suction section composed of a suction nozzle and a suction pad, a compulsory separation ring and a coil spring. An electronic component is transferred to a given position by allowing the compulsory separation ring to bring into contact with the electronic component at the periphery thereof in a state where the electronic component is sucked by the suction pad. At the given position, air is discharged through the suction pad, while the compulsory separation ring is lowered at the same time, thereby pushing out the electronic component under the suction pad. With the construction, the electronic component can be transferred with assurance while it is less inclined when it is sucked by the suction section.

Abstract: A process and system for manufacturing a built-up camshaft by which the operational safety of the camshaft is ensured in a simple manner in any engine operation and the camshaft can arbitrarily be adapted to abutments which have different positions because of the individual engine construction. At least one cam is pushed onto a hollow shaft, after which the hollow shaft is expanded between the two faces of the cam which extend transversely with respect to the longitudinal course of the hollow shaft and at the respective bearing point by means of a highly pressurized pressure fluid. This fluid is delivered by a lance-shaped probe introduced into the hollow space of the shaft. On the one hand, a press fit occurs between the cam and the hollow shaft and, on the other hand, a bulging of the bearing point of the hollow shaft occurs which bridges the distance between the hollow shaft and the abutment.

Abstract: The disposable cutting head is basically a four element clip together assembly with a base, lower and upper cutting blades, and spring. The base serves as the support for the entire assembly and incorporates the attachment elements for retention to a clipper. The spring holds the elements together, forces the cutting blades together and includes the runner under which the upper blade slides. The entire assembly is such that the head assembly with blades is of the disposable type, but uses metal blades. If desired the blades alone may be disposed and the head assembly reused; however, the structure is not intended for long wear and use. The head and blades are constructed such that the common problems encountered with existing removable/disposable heads and blades as for example heat retention in the blades and head and the catching and pulling of hair are minimized. Use with clipper comb elements is also accommodated.

The hybrid three-axis magnetic sensor includes: a flux gate type magnetic sensor which is so formed that a base serves as a main member and detects two axis components of a magnetic vector defined by a plane parallel to the base; a Hall element which detects another component of the magnetic vector orthogonal to the base; a tilt sensor which detects a tilt angle of the base; and a CPU, wherein the flux gate type magnetic sensor and the Hall element are integrally structured together as a hybrid IC. The thus detected three dimensional magnetic vector is corrected in the light of inclination of the base, so that the direction of the earth magnetism is accurately calculated.

Abstract: A liquid-containing member is insert molded into a body. The liquid-containing member may be in the form of a level vial, which can be insert molded in a mold cavity having a shape corresponding to a vial retainer or corresponding to a level. The mold cavity is defined by a pair of mold sections which are configured to form an opening in the body, and the level vial is positioned to extend across the areas of the mold sections defining the opening. The ends of the level vial extend into an area of the mold cavity adapted to receive moldable material, such that injection of moldable material into the mold cavity surrounds and encapsulates the ends of the level vial. The vial is thus mounted to the body by means of the moldable material surrounding and encapsulating the ends of the vial, to securely engage the vial with the body and to eliminate a previously-required assembly step of mounting a vial to a body such as a vial retainer or a level.
