Abstract: The present invention relates to a shoe sole including a cushioning element. The shoe sole can include a heel cup or heel rim having a shape that substantially corresponds to the shape of heel of a foot. Further, the heel part can include a plurality of side walls arranged below the heel cup or rim and at least one tension element that interconnects at least one side wall to another side wall or to the heel cup or rim. The heel cup or rim, the plurality of side walls, and the at least one tension element can be integrally formed as a single piece.

Abstract: An innovative shaped memory insole with re-adjustable supporting pads, an insole structure that can be tailor made on the spot, and thereafter can be repeatedly reshaped through a processes of non-destructive structural re-adjustment and free of glue to do re-assembly, using a design of re-adjustable structural supporting pads and a shape memory insole to meet the needs of different foot pressures on the user, thereby alleviating pain to the user's feet, providing stability to the user's ankles and improving the balance of the lower limbs.

Abstract: A revolving tongue for application to footwear provided a central pivot point that rotatably connects to a crossbar of the footwear, the crossbar extending between the lateral openings of the shoe, at upper edges of the shoe quarter portions. The tongue may be rotated, to disclose variations in coloration material and design for the shoes, as applied. A pivot pin or other connector secures the tongue, approximately centrally, to the crossbar, a guide may be provided at the lower or lateral edges of the circular tongue, secured within the shoe, to act as a guide to retain the tongue for its circular motion. In addition, openings may be provided within the upper quarter portions of the shoe, so the tongue coloration can show therethrough, and change, as the tongue is being pivoted for a different setting, and in addition, can also provide for aeration of the foot, at such location.

Abstract: The Cleat Guard is a device used to protect the sole, studs, and spikes of all athletic cleats; including, but not limited to, soccer, football, baseball, and golf. Abstract: A slip hitch connection to a drive vehicle for a snow plow comprises an elongated flat planar member that can be hooked on to a connecting lug of the drive vehicle, the flat planar member being mounted on the snow plow frame for reciprocal movement in each of a pair of spaced apart coupling assemblies secured to the snow plow frame for connecting the snow plow to the drive vehicle. Each of the elongated flat planar members have an upper and lower elongated guide slot in which guide bolts that move up and down as the snow plow itself is moved up and down are received to enable the guide bolts and snow plow to which they are connected make limited reciprocal movement up and down while hooked up to the drive vehicle and being pushed forward during a snow plowing operation.

Abstract: A ski shaped glide of hardened steel, two or more of which can be attached to the bottom of a bucket on a front-end loader when the bucket is used for plowing snow with the lift hydraulics in float position. The glide specifically referred to as a bucket-glide, significantly and effectively prevent the bucket cutting edge from digging into the road or ground surface when plowing, especially when the ground surface is soft or uneven. To accomplish this objective the bucket-glides are attached to the underside the bucket bottom typically with one in the middle and one near each outside edge with the glide's toes extending upward just beyond the bucket's cutting edge. The acute angle bend of the toes allow the bucket to be tilted downward to enable the bucket cutting edge to effectively engage the snow and enable the bucket to glide over and follow the terrain without having the cutting edge dig in and remove unwanted material.

Abstract: A banner is displayed about a tower structure, such as a water tower, by a system that enables ready substitution or replacement of the banner, without the use of high-lift equipment. The fabric banner is segmented, of wind permeable stretchable fabric, and mounted on rings that are carried on cables, suspended from a capstan atop the tower. Cable guidance pulleys, mounted on trolleys that run on a peripheral track about the top of the tower, enable the banner to be reoriented about the tower. The capstan and trolleys may be remotely controlled.

The point of purchase display is particularly beneficial for use with hand tools, for example paint and decorating hand tools and related accessories. Abstract: An identification plate for a pallet container includes a plate body for placement upon a lattice frame of a pallet container. The plate body has an upper edge, which is bent rearwards at a first angle for attachment to an upper horizontal rod of the lattice frame, a lower edge, which is bent rearwards at the first angle for attachment to a lower horizontal rod of the lattice frame, and opposite lateral edges extending between the upper and lower edges and bent rearwards at a second angle which is greater than the first angle. Each of the lateral edges ends at its rear in a rolled edge and is formed with terminal recesses for receiving the upper and lower horizontal rods. The rolled edge is hereby sized to project with its ends in a rod-like manner into the recesses to engage behind the upper and lower horizontal rods.

The turkey trophy plaque can include a display portion and a support portion. The display portion can include a perimeter surface formed to identify a geographic location such as, for example, a state or county, where the displayed turkey was harvested while the support portion is generally L-shaped and extends from a rear surface of the display portion. The tail fan is displayed by inserting the tail fan into a retaining space defined between the display portion and the rear portion. The beard and/or spurs can be displayed by attaching the beard to one or more apertures in the support portion. The display portion can also include visual features to display information regarding the harvested turkey.

Abstract: A gun-lock device includes a tubular assembly that fits within the bore and a chamber plug member that fits within the chamber of a firearm. The tubular assembly is partially received into the chamber plug member, wherein spring-loaded expandable arrangement at the end thereof engages with the recess within the chamber plug member to lock the tubular assembly within the barrel. The lock subassembly includes a tumbler cylinder arranged to rotate about the longitudinal axis of the tubular assembly and a set of lock-pins which are disposed parallel to, and in a circular formation about, the longitudinal axis of the tumbler cylinder. The resulting overall arrangement yields a compactly packaged gun-lock device suitable for use in combination with a holster-worn firearm, and the key, with such small size and ornate shape, suitable for being mounted on a ring to be worn by the user at all times. A spring loaded plunger mechanism enhances the speed and ease of operation by adding a self-eject feature to the device.

Abstract: An adapter for mounting an accessory on a shroud such as is found on an M2 machine gun includes a rigid block embracing the shroud. Blunt-nosed helically threaded plugs penetrate the block and intrude partly into perforations of the shroud. Retaining rings, threaded oppositely to the threaded plugs, prevent the plugs from backing out. A key tool is provided to tighten the plugs and retaining rings. A longitudinally oriented T-rail projects radially from the block. A slide body engages the T-rail and includes a locking mechanism, a lamp assembly, a logically switched power control, a power cable, and a control cable with interchangeable switches.

Abstract: A fishing device attaches to a fishing pole so as to automatically set the fish hook when a fish takes the bait while the pole is unmanned. The device includes a retainer and a cord. The cord extends between a lower end of the pole and the retainer. A hook on the retainer mounts onto the tip eye of the pole so as to bend the pole into a flexed position. The fishing line extends through the tip eye and then through a recess in the clip. The bent pole can be left unmanned. When a fish takes the bait, the tug on the fishing line pivots the retainer so as to release the retainer from the tip eye, thereby causing the pole to spring from the bent position and thereby set the hook in the mouth of the fish while the pole remains unmanned.

Abstract: The present invention is an illuminated fishing rod. The illuminated rod further comprises an elongated shaft having a tip portion at one end and a handle at the opposite end. A compartment is internally integrated within the handle. The compartment is adapted to receive a power source and a light source. A plurality of eyelet guide members is mounted upon the longitudinal axis from the proximal end to the distal end of the shaft. A bundle of optical fibers are operationally mounted within the elongated shaft. The light source is operationally connected to the optical fibers for illuminating the shaft, and the power source is operationally connected to the light source to generate power for the light source to illuminate the shaft. In an alternative embodiment, the bundle of optical fibers is operationally mounted along the external surface of the elongated shaft. In another embodiment, the elongated shaft is segmented into multiple sections for easy storage.

The bottom surface twists along an arcuate line from a plane that begins acute to the side surface of the lure body to a plane that is substantially perpendicular to the side section of the lure body. The lure can also include a diving element towards the head section of the lure. The diving element can be a weight located within the head section of the lure.

Abstract: This invention provides a process for producing biodiesel fuel from vegetable or animal oils and fats or wastes thereof and methanol that does not use a catalyst and does not generate glycerin as a by-product. In this process, vegetable or animal oils and fats or wastes thereof are mixed with methanol, and a methanolysis reaction is carried out at a reaction temperature of between 370° C. and 500° C., a reaction pressure of between 20 MPa and 60 MPa, and a reaction period of between 4 minutes and 12 minutes without the use of a catalyst. This invention also provides biodiesel fuel that is mainly composed of fatty acid methyl esters, monoacylglycerol, and diacylglycerol.

Abstract: An anti-pinch system for a vehicle opening device, such as a window regulator, that includes a pressure sensitive resistive coupler located between a gear and a damper plate in the vehicle opening device. When the load is increased on the vehicle opening device, the resistive coupler compresses, altering its electrical resistance. An electrical circuit runs through the resistive coupler, and the circuits resistance is measured. A controller for the device's motor is operable to adjust the velocity of the motor based upon changes in resistance in the damper. Preferably, the controller compares changes in measured resistance to an expected change in resistance based upon the opening device's position to determine whether a pinch condition has occurred.
