Abstract: In a rolling driving actuator used as a drive source of a power toothbrush, permanent magnets are formed flat plate shape, and constituting a moving object by being attached to grooves formed on an outer peripheral face of a yoke which is press-fitted to and fixed on a shaft. On the other hand, a tubular shaped stator, which is constituted by a coil wound around a bobbin and stationary yokes provided on both side of the bobbin in axial direction of the shaft, is provided to face an outer face of the permanent magnet or an outer face of the yoke of the moving object with a predetermined clearance so that a center axis thereof becomes coaxial with the center axis of the shaft. By supplying an alternating current to the coil, the moving object is driven in rolling driving around the axis of the shaft.

Abstract: A dip stick wiper apparatus includes a frame which includes a first frame leg, a second frame leg, and a resilient frame bridge connected therebetween. A first absorbent member is connected to an inside portion of the first frame leg, and a second absorbent member is connected to and inside portion of the second frame leg. The respective absorbent members can be made of absorbent sponge material. The first frame leg and the second frame leg are spaced apart from each other by a dip-stick reception gap and are parallel to each other. To wipe oil off of a dip stick, the dip stick is placed in the dip-stick reception gap and pulled upward so that the oil from the dip stick is absorbed into the first and second absorbent members. Preferably, a magnet member is connected to an outside portion of either the first frame leg or the second frame leg.

Abstract: A bowling lane maintenance machine has a cleaning assembly in which liquid cleaner is deposited on the lane surface at the front of the machine as the machine moves down the lane. Immediately behind the point of application of the cleaning solution, a wiping web assembly spreads the solution across the entire surface of the lane and presses the solution down into the conditioner for subsequent pickup by a suction pickup head behind the wiper web assembly. The web is looped under a backup roll having an exposed fibrous pile face that engages the inside surface of the web while the outside surface engages the lane. The fibrous pile encourages the web to remain in intimate contact with the lane surface at all times while accommodating surface irregularities such as depressions and other variations in lane contour.
