The inclined surfaces (11, 21) each have an upper inclined surface (11a, 21a) and a lower inclined surface (11b, 21b), and the lower inclined surfaces (11b, 21b) are steeper than the upper inclined surfaces (11a, 21a). The body (10) is fitted in and supported by the part (20) at the upper inclined surfaces (11a, 21a) and the lower inclined surfaces (11b, 21b). By this, the body is prevented from being wedged into the frame too deeply and also from becoming inclined with respect to the frame or riding up.

Abstract: A system is used for fastening articles, such as shelves and work tops, to uprights of a structure with at least a pair of panels, a first panel and a second panel, fastened to at least one upright, in a way such that vertical, facing edges of the panels are parted away. The system includes a protrusion made in the uprights and extending between the vertical facing edges of the panels. The protrusion has a section narrowing defining a first groove and a second groove. The sides of the articles have a female connector with projections forming respective extensions facing each other and engaging with the grooves, due to receiving the protrusion between the projections.

Abstract: Modular system for constructing platform and shelving structures. Each module is configurable in either a stowable or assembled configuration. In the assembled configuration, a module has a central vertical member hingedly-coupled to a second vertical member extending perpendicular to a first side of the central member, and a horizontal member hingedly-coupled to the central member and extending perpendicular to a second side of the central vertical member. The upper edges of the central vertical member and the second vertical member of a first module provide support to a horizontal member of a second module, whereby various structures can be formed from a plurality of modules. Each module is easily stowable by rotating the second vertical member and the horizontal member about their hinged edges toward the central vertical member until they are substantially parallel and adjacent thereto, whereby a plurality of modules in the stowable configuration can be stored in substantially the minimum possible space.

Abstract: A pocket, lid and shield for casting a pulling iron in a concrete structure are described. The pocket includes a slot reinforced with stiffening members for receiving the pulling iron. The pocket also includes a frangible support post for supporting the pulling iron when it is received in the pocket. Also described are embodiments of a shield, which include clipping members adapted to engage the stiffening members, for covering the slot, and a lid having a lip for engaging a peripheral groove in the pocket. Methods of over-molding a pulling iron cable are also described. According to the methods, a temporary seal, which can be used in over-molding a subsequent pulling iron cable, can be formed simultaneously with each over-molded product. During molding, the cable can be held in the center of a channel in the mold tool using a retractable magnetic pin.

Abstract: A method and system for facilitating skateboard and other types of play about a synthetic flooring system, wherein one or more skate components is provided and configured for such use. The skate components may be modular in form, or stand-alone components. In addition, the skate components are intended to interact with the synthetic flooring system, which is configured to enable skateboards, in-line skates, bikes, scooters, and others to traverse across the provided contact surface in a similar manner as with traditional surfaces, such as concrete. As such, the synthetic flooring system is configured with a hard, flat contact surface that is preferably non-abrasive. A pliable layer is provided on the various skate components, and is configured to provide a non-slip interface between the contact surface of the synthetic flooring system and the skate component.

Abstract: A building system and method. A construction method and system is disclosed. The system includes panel members composed of foamed cement containing perlite as the only material aggregate. Each lightweight cement body is encased around its perimeter edges by a rigid frame preferably fabricated from steel C-channel or beams. Once cured, a plurality of such panels vertically disposed, arranged upon building footings, and inter-connected to serve as structure walls. The use of a special foamed cementitious mix containing expanded perlite provides lightweight panels of reliable strength and durability yet excellent thermal and sound insulation. The frames of abutting panels may be joined by welding. Reinforced concrete footings according to this disclosure are provided with a special channel running longitudinally there-along. An exposed anchor bar runs along the inside of the longitudinal channel. The wall panels have reinforcing conduits extending top to bottom in the panel frame.
