Abstract: A dry cabinet for storing surface mount devices in a low humidity environment containing an integrated dry gas forming means in the form of a desiccator or a nitrogen generator which can receive a source of compressed air and form a dry air stream or a concentrated dry nitrogen stream which can be directed into the interior space of the cabinet to maintain the environment within the cabinet a low relative humidity. The cabinet with it self contained dry gas forming source is more economical than prior art dry cabinets which require a centralized nitrogen source.

Abstract: A laundry cleaning appliance according to the present invention includes a drum, a heater, a blower, a dryness sensor and a controller. The drum accommodates fabrics. The heater and the blower supply hot air to the drum. The dryness sensor detects the dryness of fabrics. The controller controls the temperature of the heater depending on changes in the dryness of fabrics detected by the dryness sensor. The temperature of hot air is controlled so as to be high by the heater when the dryness of fabrics is low, so that there are advantages in that the performance of drying for fabrics is improved, and the drying time of fabrics is shorten. The temperature of hot air is controlled so as to be low by the heater when the dryness of fabrics is high, so that there are advantages in that the over-dry of fabrics is prevented and, thus damages due to the over-dry of fabrics is prevented.

Abstract: An article of footwear has ventilation and shock absorption provided by a mechanism which may be constructed within or added to the footwear. A first chamber beneath the heel draws external air through a conduit which includes a one-way valve. As a wearer walks, the heel compresses the first chamber, forcing the air through a special second valve causing directional airflow to a second chamber in a controlled manner thereby absorbing the shock of the heel strike in the same manner a shock absorber functions in an automobile. As weight is transferred from the heel to the ball of the foot, further cushioning is provided by the second chamber. Specifically designed vents connected to the second chamber allow air to be forced into the region of the shoe around the foot. Expansion of the air from these vents affects cooling and drying of the foot through evaporation and convection.

A heel support at the upper surface interacts with the foot securing system to eliminate toe gripping and strain. A descending slope or dome may be provided at the upper surface to support, spread and downwardly deflect the toes to reverse dorsal-flexing. An elevated forefoot angulation may be provided at the upper surface to stretch the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon. A rocker bottom may be provided only under the toe area of the lower surface.

Different layers of materials provide puncture resistance, abrasion resistance, thermal insulation, waterproofing and other benefits. Protective and/or insulative plates may be utilized in the footwear for puncture protection or thermal insulation, for example. Shovel guards protect the wearer when using a tool, and toe tools permit the wearer to employ the boot as a tool of its own. Structural support cages chimney structures are also utilized for support and comfort.

Abstract: The invention discloses a method and system for creation of fireworks and laser show by generating effects of laser-material interaction and in particular by generating laser-induced breakdowns. The fireworks have the following particulars: each spark can be created at the pre-set position; the time existing and brightness of each spark can be controlled; each spark can have desirable speed and the trajectory movement; the laser-induced fireworks can reproduce any desirable spark arrangement, in particular 2D, 3D images or an abstract pictures. A method for creation of a laser show is founded on the use of a combination of the effects accompanying the laser-induced breakdowns and other laser-material interaction phenomenon. A method discloses the laser show which uses of the inflated balloons having special shapes and characteristics needed for the production of the desirable visual effects generated by laser radiation. A system for creation of fireworks and laser show is also disclosed.

The invention contains two support members oriented opposed from one another and connected by telescoping support extension members. One support member accepts the user's arm, while the other accepts the user's thigh. Since the invention supports the user's arm rather than the object being used, the invention may accommodate—without alteration—any device the user wishes to operate. Between each support member and the extension member is a connector which provides for 360 degree rotation of each support member. This innovation allows the user to extend or contract the user's arm while still supported by the invention, thereby alleviating the fatigue which may develop from keeping the arm fixed in an extended position. The invention requires no straps or other means to affix it to the operator's body and instead is held in place by tension between the user's arm and the user's thigh.

The device comprises a multilayer pack of films, the two end films of which are respectively a first one arrangeable in contact with a support and a second one provided with a surface exposed to the environment. Each film of the multilayer pack comprises, on the side directed toward the second end film, a sticky surface for capturing insects and, on the opposite side, a surface for weak adhesion to the sticky surface of a contiguous film. Each film has, at at least one edge, a user grip portion which is at least partially free from contiguous films. The grip portion allows peeling of the end film that is directed toward the environment with respect to the rest of the multilayer pack.

The fuel contains o-xylene of 30 to 50 wt. % of the total weight. The internal combustion engine operates by homogeneous charge compression ignition at low or medium load and by spark ignition at high load.

Biological nitrogen fixation is performed naturally by a number of different microorganisms including plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria, mycorrhizal fungi, and rhizobia. An actuator motor mounted to an actuator reduces the need for typical hydraulic components. Using a variable speed and reversible actuator motor the present invention provides high-speed movements of the barrier plate for emergency conditions.

Abstract: An auxiliary device of a movable plank, wherein the movable plank is moved between a first position and a second position, includes a sliding member, a driving member and a power providing device. The sliding member is provided adjacent to the frame and incident to a screw pair. The driving member is provided adjacent to the sliding and incident to a screw pair. The power providing device is provided adjacent to the sliding member. The power providing device stores power when the movable plank is moved to the first position, and releases the power to move the sliding member when the movable plank is moved to the second position from the first position.

Abstract: A door assembly having a door that can be vertically positioned up or down through a floor to totally or partially close off access between rooms or sections of a structure. Door position is controlled by a pulley-cable counterweight configuration, including a motor assist, and all of which are self-contained.
