Abstract: A flexible neck closure that is coupled to specific anchor points on the exterior back and front of a wetsuit by releasable fasteners such that a tensile force is generated in the closure when the wetsuit is worn. The back-to-front tensile forces produce a compressive seal between the flexible neck closure and the wetsuit exterior. The body of the neck closure may have an elongation that is greater or less than the elongation of the fastener. The inner surface of the neck closure and/or the exterior surface of the wetsuit may have one or more rib features for producing a localized seal.

Abstract: A safety hat with an adjustable visor has a crown and a visor mounted in front of the crown. Two positioning holes are defined in two sides of the crown and multiple first teeth are formed around each positioning hole. A plurality of rods is mounted in an inner wall of the crown with a lug formed at a top of a body of each rod. Two holes are defined in the arcuate wall to receive the rods of the crown. Two buttons each with a stub are provided in the arcuate wall. By pressing the buttons, the inclination of the visor relative to the crown can be changed, and the position of crown is not changed.

Abstract: An armpit perspiration absorption device is provided having at least one pad of which each pad has at least two layers of material. A first layer employs a moisture-absorbent material and a second layer employs a moisture-proof material. In one embodiment, an adhesive is also employed allowing said absorption device to be “stuck” to or retained against an inner surface of a shirt or blouse proximal to an armpit of a person or directly to the skin of the armpit. A removable protective sheet can be placed over the adhesive to maintain its reactive ability. In a first alternate embodiment, elastic straps are employed to maintain the absorption device up against the skin of the armpit. In a second alternate embodiment, a pocket is provided within the shirt or blouse along an inner surface of said shirt or blouse for receiving and retaining said absorption device there within. In the preferred embodiment, two pads are employed in an “X” formation wherein a first pad is laid across a second pad.

Abstract: For uniformed personnel a shirt and pants Class A dress uniform having one or more Class B work uniform type of structural features which render it more functional, more comfortable and more attractive. More specifically, this new uniform includes a shirttail retainer, a microphone sling and an internal hidden and secure cargo pocket on each leg or combinations of one or more of these features. The shirttail retainer utilizes spaced apart silicone rubber friction strips on the outer surface near the waist which cooperate with a friction strip on the inner surface of the pants waistband. The microphone sling hangs from a button on the shoulder hidden beneath the shoulder epaulet. The internal cargo pocket is on the inner surface of the outer leg wall.

The support line part 2 has a lower end 2U at a part of a connecting line L that connects the front main body part 11 and rear main body part 12, and an upper end 2T at a part of the connecting line L. The support line part 2 is arranged from the lower end 2U to the upper end 2T through the front side of the thigh and a section which is located at the rear side of the thigh and the lower section of the rump-cleft, in a spiral. Specifically, the support line part 2 continues from the lower end 2U to the upper end 2T in a spiral so as to cover, in the form of a band, a region where the great adductor muscle of the thigh is located. The main body part 1 and the support line part 2 are configured with a stretchable material, and the tightening force of the support line part 2 is stronger than that of the main body part 1.

Abstract: A restraint system is disclosed which limits the range of motion of a driver's helmet, and consequently the flexure of an individual's neck. In particular, the proposed system is laterally symmetric and comprises an arrangement of straps including a first strap extending from the “chin” of the helmet downwardly over the shoulder to an attachment point near the shoulder blade. A second strap extend form the occipital region forward over the shoulder and is attached on the chest. A separate strap also extends from the chin to the mid-point of the second strap. A fourth strap extends from the occipital region to the mid-point of the first strap. In addition, a harness is disclosed comprising a strap which encircles the check and straps which encircle the thighs, and use of a VELCRO fastener to anchor the restraint system to the harness.

Abstract: A head and neck restraint device controls the motion of the head and forces exerted upon the neck of a seated occupant in a decelerating vehicle. A body defines a collar, right and left legs and right and left wings. The collar is tethered to the helmet. Each leg has belt interaction surfaces that provide a friction action on the shoulder straps. Left and right extensions or wings residing under the shoulder strap rearward of the legs provide a restriction of rotation of the body and thus a binding action on the shoulder straps. A cantilever action is induced in generally forward impact by the tethers pulling on the collar of the body and the binding action on the shoulder straps reducing the forward motion of the body. The present restraint device does not attach to the structure of the vehicle, allows travel thereof with respect to the seated occupant, yet controls the motion of the occupant's head in order to substantially reduce neck loads on the occupant.

Abstract: A device for controlling odor from a toilet bowl has a housing primarily formed by a top member, a bottom member and a canister holding section for attaching to the bottom member. The canister holding section holds a canister having a nozzle for providing an odor treating spray from the canister. The housing also has two plates depending downwardly from the bottom member and which form an inverted U-shape for mounting the device on a rim of the toilet bowl. Between the top member and bottom member is a biasing device such as springs for biasing a seat of the toilet bowl in an upward direction when the seat is empty, and for allowing the seat to move in a downward direction in response to someone sitting on the seat. The downward motion of the seat moves the top member down, thereby actuating a nozzle on the canister, spraying a metered amount of spray into the toilet bowl.

Abstract: The invention relates to a folding barrier which can be used as a fence around a body of water, such as a swimming pool (1). The inventive barrier essentially consists of at least one pair of articulated panels (2, 3) comprising a fencing panel (3) which is pivot fixed to a ground panel (2) which forms a walkway around the pool (1) when the barrier is deployed. Both of the aforementioned panels (2, 3) are slatted and comprise slats (5, 6) which are separated by means of open-work (7, 8). According to the invention, the slats (5, 6) of one panel (2, 3) are disposed opposite the open-work (7, 8) of the other panel (2, 3), such that, in the folded position, the slats (5, 6) of one panel (2, 3) are housed inside the open-work (7, 8) of the other panel (2, 3), thereby forming a deck around the pool (1).

Abstract: A laminar flow waterfall in the form of a single or multiple streams of water, each exiting from a nozzle in the top edge of a spa. The laminar water stream is created by a venturi nozzle located in a plenum chamber. The inlet side of the nozzle has a cover with a plurality of small holes forcing the water flow to enter the nozzle as laminar flow. A flow divider inside the venturi nozzle, from the inlet to the restriction of the nozzle, maintains the flow laminar through the nozzle. Light is injected into the flow divider at the inlet and is carried by the flow divider to be injected into the water flow at the restriction of the nozzle.

Abstract: A bathtub has a doorway in a sidewall thereof. A door is slidably mounted to guides on guide followers mounted to both the door and the guides. The guide followers carry the door along a substantially horizontal translation along the sidewall between open and closed positions. A releasable latch and cooperating latch actuator is mounted to the door for releasable latching engagement of the door when in a watertight sealed engagement in the doorway, and for releasing the door from such engagement upon actuation by a user of the latch actuator into its release position. A passive hydrostatic seal is mounted so as to be sandwiched between the door and the doorway doorframe when the door is closed.

Abstract: A shower mount is mounted to a fixed shower arm in a bathing area for universally receiving a hand-held showerhead. The shower mount is connected to the shower arm and includes a base member with a fluid passageway in communication with the shower arm and a shower hose. Water flows through the fluid passageway and shower hose to a showerhead. A shower saddle is interchangeably mounted the base member to support the showerhead. The shower saddle is selected depending upon the design of the showerhead in order to securely retain the showerhead to the base member.

The height-adjustable seat lowers to just above ground height making the recovery of a fallen patient easier. A set of casters allows omni-directional travel of the patient transport apparatus for precise placement and a pair of primary motion wheels makes linear travel easier while providing a turning radius substantially approaching zero.

Abstract: A bottom frame assembly for a baby crib includes pairs of first and second bottom frame rods, and a hub unit that includes stationary and rotary seats. The stationary seat is connected to the first bottom frame rods at diametrically opposite positions of the stationary seat. The rotary seat is mounted rotatably on the stationary seat, and is connected to the second bottom frame rods at diametrically opposite positions of the rotary seat. By adjusting the angular orientation of the rotary seat relative to the stationary seat, the angles formed between adjacent ones of the first and second bottom frame rods can be varied so that the bottom frame assembly can suit the specified length-to-width ratio of the baby crib.

Abstract: A cleaning device for cleaning a tubular device such as a coagulator has a generally cylindrical sidewall and a prong emerging from a base. To use the cleaning device, the coagulator tube is inserted onto the prong and rotated. The device has wipers that will wipe and clean the device as it is rotated. Preferably the device has wipers of different sizes to provide different wiping effects, such as cleaning two different sections of the coagulator tube having different diameters. The differently sized wipers may also be useful to clean tubes having different diameters.

The bathing implement includes a toroidal sponge component and can also have a removable attachment component. The donut-shaped sponge component is preferably made of mesh sponge material and is concentrically disposed about an inner ring-shaped component defining a central opening in which the attachment component can be removably secured. The inner ring-shaped component provides a ready gripping area which can be held for manipulating the bathing implement. The attachment component can be, for instance, a toy, a solid soap product, a container of a bath/cosmetic product or the like, a mesh netting pocket, or a knob-shaped hanging device having a suction cup.
